Tom Amber

Tom Amber. The words ringing in Leo's head. Leo hadn't heard that name in years, when he was 7 years old. A man from a funeral organizing company had wanted to make sure they got the name right. Tom Amber. His father had died trying save Leo. Leo's was on the road running ahead, not watching where he was going. His dad has pushed him out of the way to save his son's life but sacrificed his own in the process. Tom Amber. His mother had gone into terrible shock and had a heart attack at the news. She had survived with her life, barely. She ignored Leo for two months because she believed it was his fault. Tom Amber. It had been 6 years since he heard that name and he won't let it get stuck into his head again. He had watched as his father's coffin been lowered into a deep hole into the ground. That hole had been the master of his nightmares. "Tom Amber!" He said out loud by accident. The king and Isabella both looked up at him with confused faces. They were both talking about something that was top secret. "What about Tom Amber?" Isabella asked curiously. Leo didn't want to be dragged into his dads mess again. His dad was a volunteer helper so people expected him to be as helpful as he was.His dad wasn't always around, which led to boys picking on him and a dad not being there for him when he's needed most. "I don't know Tom Amber."

As the words left his mouth, Isabella grabbed him by the collar and pushed him against the ground. Her knee painfully hard on his stomach. Isabella whispered in a deep despicable tone. "You realize I tell if people are lying for a living. How do you know Tom Amber?" Leo knew he couldn't keep it a secret forever anyways. Leo sighed. "That's my dad's name." Isabella stood up with Leo's collar still in her hands and she dropped him. Her standing right above him, while Leo still on the ground. "You?! The son of Amber the Knight! Impossible!" Isabella couldn't believe her ears. "How is this impossible?!" Leo screamed back. Isabella leaned over, "It means you're the next guardian of Wistcopia."
