4 Midnight Rendezvous
I silently jumped over the fence around Azazel's house and climbed the mango tree in front of his balcony. I am planning to surprise him tonight before asking him to hangout with me. There's a lot of sudden raining going on these days, I don't know maybe it's because winter is about to come or something but it's hindering my midnight strolls.
Due to the heavy rain yesterday, Azazel can't come over and I enjoyed the beef steak I cooked alone, the weather's a really big bitch yesterday. That's why I planned to continue the unfinished business today, I grasp the strap of the backpack I'm carrying and silently crawl my way to his balcony. I texted him that I'll come over in advance, you know permission? hahaha.
I discreetly opened the sliding door and slid inside like a feline cat. I saw him trying to wear a shirt with a phone on one hand. I held my giggle and wore the scary mask I brought and crawl behind him.
"Boo!" I held his left foot tightly. He looked my way with his eyes widened due to shock before kicking my face.
"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK, LILITH! SHIT!" I pulled the mask away and held my nose. Damn, that hurts! Gosh, I think it's bleeding.
"Azee, I didn't know you can kick like a horse, hehehe." He glared at me, before hitting my forehead with the back of his hand. He looks annoyed.
"This is no laughing matter, weirdo. Your nose is bleeding, let me see." He lifted my face gently, worry and annoyance is visible in his eyes.
"I can't believe you kicked a lady straight in the face-aww!" He pinched the side of my face with tempt and a sarcastic smile on his face.
"What lady are you talking about? No lady crawls on a man's balcony at 11:53 PM wearing a scary mask and a backpack." He said in a matter of fact tone, I pouted at him as I try to hold my aching nose.
"It's not broken or anything right?" I asked worriedly, is this karma? What a frightening speed of delivery if it is really karma.
"Unfortunately, no it doesn't look like its broken or anything. Geez, come here. Keep your chin up." He said before pulling my wrist and letting me sit on the bed.
"What do you mean 'unfortunately'? It's fortunately!" I protest, he looked at me with a bored expression before entering the bathroom. I held my chin to keep it up. I didn't even notice that Azee is already came back from the bathroom.
"Keep it like that, I'll treat it. Don't you dare spill that blood on my bed sheets." He warned, I gulped before laughing nervously.
"I will keep that in mind."
"Stop talking. Good thing it's nothing serious, what the fuck entered your mind to do this ridiculous thing?" He sighed heavily which made me giggle.
"I was just bored that's why I pranked you. I didn't know it will backfire like this- aww..." My face distorted because of the discomfort that I am feeling.
"Serves you right for pranking the wrong person." He smirked at me.
"Yeah, right."

"Gah, How are you so good at cooking steaks? I actually burned my beef yesterday. What's your secret?" I inquired. He looked at me from the counter before speaking.
"There's no secret. You just suck at cooking. Admit it, dummy." I rolled my eyes at him and it stopped halfway on his back.
Whoa, his shoulders are really wide and his waist looks so huggable. His future girl will be soooo lucky, where can you find a cutie whose good at cooking?
"What's with the stares?" he asked. I put my chin on one hand to support it before responding.
"Did you know that your waist is really huggable?" I said as if I am part of the facts pages or something. He looked at me, eyebrows crossed.
"Geez, you're creeping me out. Just hug me once or twice I couldn't care less anyway." He said arms open wide as if anticipating for a hug. I giggled at his position before answering.
"Nah, I'll pass for today. I'll just hug you as surprise one day, be sure not to kick or punch me alright?" He laughed at me without saying a word.
"Azee! No, huh. You'll definitely kick me again if I do that." I said nervously. He just grinned at me before continuing what he's doing.
"Anyway, where do you plan to hangout tonight?" He asked without looking back.
"How about the seaside? We can walk there and take a cab in the morning!" I exclaimed.
"No, I don't think that's possible. I will be incharged of taking care of my niece tomorrow." He disagree with a sigh.
"I would love to go there on the seaside if not for that, I'm sorry." He said with an apologetic smile.
"What do you mean sorry? We can just hangout around here in our neighborhood. Have you ever gone to the ground behind that hill? I've been there for like hundred times already. Wanna check it out with me today?" I said with a smile. He just nodded at me with a thumbs up.
I placed my head on the counter top and watched him from behind.

"Wow! The stars are twinkling so brightly tonight! I can even see my favorite constellation from here, look!" I said pointing out the Cancer constellation. I jumped excitedly as I tried to fell on the ground like a dead meat.
"Hey! If not your nose, I'm sure one day something else will break, for example; your back, skull or femur." He sat in front of me before tapping my nose slightly. I winced in pain before glaring at him.
"Ouch... Azee, please be a gentleman for a while alright?"
"What do you mean, I'm actually a gentleman, I can see your panties right now too." He said pointing my lower half. I blushed hard at his behavior.
"Shut up! Anyway sit down like a real gentleman and let me use you as pillow." I said pulling him down before crawling on to his lap.
"Damn, this woman is aggressive." He said chuckling, I slapped his face enough for it to reddened a little.
"If I'm that aggressive, you'd be laying by now." I said with a smug smirk visible on my face. He looks taken aback for a moment before laughing out loud.
"Yeah, like you can." He said chuckling, I raised my left brow at him.
"I will surprise you one of these days, hmpp!" That response made him keep chuckling for about a minute before facing me with a serious face, what a shift of expression.
"I'll be waiting." He then winked after spouting those words. Gah, I'll get back at you one day for teasing me like this.
I stare straight at his beaming face under the starlight, the wind is cold but I felt strangely warm underneath his shadows.I didn't think I'll enjoy watching him than the stars tonight, weird. Well, I guess it's kind of rare to see him like this. He does look kind of lonely and sad sometimes even though he is smiling. I hope to help him with that like he did for just by being with me on my shenanigans.
"Again with the stares. What? Do you want a kiss or something?" He said pouting his lips towards me. I grinned at him before pinching his lips together.
"No, I'll pass for now, I may take that offer in the future." I said laughing at his face. He pinched my cheeks before pulling it hard.
"Yeah, right. Heal your nose first, Lilith the red nosed weirdo." He sang in his off tuned voice. I slapped his face again before laughing.
"Shut up, tone deaf Azee." I stuck my tongue out at him.
I smiled at the brightest star on the sky. Grandma, do you see me now? I've got a friend! I won't go there yet, I've got someone to live for now, at least. Everything is fine for now, I think I'll be fine. I'm okay.
"What are you smiling at looking nowhere in particular." I showed him a genuine smile without a word. He smiled back at me.
"Geez, what a weirdo."
