Leisure Life: Classroom of The Elite

"I just want to laze around, minding my own business...so what's up with all those conspiracies?" A random average guy who is about to attend Advanced Nurturing High School established by the Japanese government to nurture the young people who will support the country in the future. Fan-fic about Classroom of the Elite and I don't own any of its characters or...simply anything connected to it so make sure to check out original work. WARNING: I am not planning to make MC change plot from early on, you could even say this MC will be just a side character. It's just that I picked this background (Classroom of the Elite) for a slice-of-life relaxing story. Also, some characters might have slightly different personalities so excuse me for those possible mistakes. (School's evaluation of MC !!!SPOILERS!!!): https://imgur.com/a/E5xnn0l (English isn't my 1st language so expect grammar issues)

#52 Secret Idol

"Almost right, the closest person to this was B-Class student who managed to accumulate 12.000.000 points before he was expelled for fraud in his goal to get to Class A." Chabashira said with an amused smile.

"...Thought so, such an amount of points should be impossible to gather without bending a few rules or a little blackmailing." Yuichi muttered but he thought otherwise about Koenji's situation. Although everything outside of this school was completely useless, not for those who will be graduating from here...If Koenji can form some kind of contract with them, he can obtain points in exchange for real money.

"Sensei said that everyone here starts on equal grounds, however, I would like to disagree with your words. Despite this school blocking outside's influence, one can use the outside influence from inside" Yuichi said with a faint smile as they were nearing the Staffroom.

"?! ...Looks like you found out something interesting, however, if you don't like it, you can always candidate for Student Council president and change the rules a bit." Chabashira's eyes widened as she heard his words before replying with a helpful smile but Yuichi knew that it was a sadistic smile.

"That's cruel sensei...D-Class student running for the student council president...Do you want me to become the school's clown?" Yuichi asked with a helpless smile as Chabashira unlocked the Staffroom which meant that no one was currently inside and Yuichi could sigh in relief.

"I have never said that you should do it right now...You can't even become one while you are the 1st-year but you can use the time before candidating to climb up the classes." Chabashira said with a comforting smile.

"Sensei...Are you perhaps a teacher of Class D for some kind of specific reason?" Yuichi asked since he felt as if she was motivating him to climb up the classes. As Yuichi thought, the teachers really care about the advancement of their class.

"...You can put textbooks down here and you are free to go back." Chabashira replied only after a few seconds of silence.

'So even teachers are elevated? Well, it makes sense, how would school be able to determine "employee of the month".' Yuichi put down the stuff he was carrying before saying farewell to Chabashira.

In the evening

[Are you sure you don't want to come?] Yuichi received a few messages from Sudo, stating that they are planning to have a little party in Ayanokoji's room and if he doesn't want to join in. Coincidentally, a few minutes after that, he also received a message from Horikita asking if he is going.

"Eh" Yuichi scratched the back of his head while looking at the display before glancing from the window at the peaceful and quiet sunset.

[I am sure, I am not feeling very well so just go ahead and celebrate without me] "Aaand send" Yuichi muttered and sent the message to Sudo before switching to the chat with Horikita.

[Not going, I am not feeling very well] (Y)

[Are you all right?] (H) The reply came almost instantly, making Yuichi release a low laugh.

'Are you worried or suspicious?' Yuichi wasn't sure why was she asking so he just replied that he is fine and just needs a bit of sleep.

Yuichi just wanted to be alone for a while and browse a few magazines on the internet, and perhaps find something good to read. He actually enjoyed reading manga or normal novels but probably not on the same level as his classmate nicknamed Professor or just simply Sotomura by name. He was also sure that Sotomura was reading...very different types of manga when he once overheard him talking to boys about it.

Yuichi jumped on his bed with back first and started surfing the internet on his phone.

15 minutes later...

'All these new novels and mangas are pretty uninteresting and most of them always have such a forced romance.' Yuichi thought with a bored expression before he decided to browse older magazines.

"Hm?" After another a few minutes, he found something that caught his interest. Unfortunately, it wasn't manga or novel but cover of the certain magazine made him look more carefully at it.

'Those long pink hair and that figure...If I were to give her glasses and pessimistic expression, she would definitely become Sakura from my class' Yuichi was quite shocked to find something like this. He found it hard to believe that this girl on the magazine's cover was actually Sakura who was all gloomy and quiet in the classroom.

'Shizuku...Apparently she stopped being idol right after she became quite popular but I doubt she was faking those smiles on those photos...She looks like she is really enjoying taking photos. Let's try something...' Yuichi thought before trying to find anything else about a former idol named Shizuku.

Thanks to very helpful internet, he was able to quickly find her blog that unexpectedly was still being updated.

'Oi, isn't that taken in these dorms? It definitely has to be Sakura.' Yuichi was finally convinced when he saw recent photos with the background of a similar-looking room.

Since he was bored and had time, he decided to browse through her blog and look at all photos and before he knew it, he was at the comment section where he saw a lot of encouraging comments. Most likely from perverts but at least they had some morals not to harass a girl through the internet.

'Hm? What is this?' Yuichi narrowed his eyes when he saw quite disturbing comments on one of the photos take very recently, a month ago.

'Wasn't this photo taken the same day or the next day when we arrived here? And what the hell is up with this stalker? Is he just trying to troll her or is he really so crazy about her?' Yuichi thought while checking the date when was the photo posted. He was also slightly confused by this one "stalker" in the comment section, he had no idea if it was even possible for someone to be so crazy about someone. After all, this stalker most likely never met her, so it can't even be called love.

Yuichi turned the display off before putting his phone down next to him while looking at the ceiling with a confused expression.

'Love...what even is that? Now that I finally have some time to thoroughly think about it, I have never had a girlfriend, neither have I ever felt anything for anyone.' Yuichi thought with an expressionless face.

The rest of the night, Yuichi spent his time, thinking about this problem, he also tried to set examples like:

What does he think about Mei? ...Best childhood friend.

What about Horikita? ...An amusing person, nothing else.

What about Ichinose? ...Kind looking girl, indeed highly attractive but that's all he thought about her.

'I wonder if our class points will increase after this month ends and I also wonder how many points other classes acquired.' Yuichi quickly saved Shizuku's blog into his favorites just in case and then he looked at the photo of Class points of each class written down on the poster he previously has taken.

The next week was very generic for Yuichi, going to school then to attend the club. Everything was looking quite peaceful except times when 2 C-Class students from the basketball club occasionally taunted Sudo. Yuichi felt it a bit weird but it has been happening for a few days and it was only taunting without any consequences so he decided to ignore it and keep an eye no Sudo just in case.

Everything was all right and Yuichi even felt like he was getting a bit paranoid that is, until one specific day.

"Hey, are you going back?" Yuichi asked Sudo after practice in the basketball club.

"Hm? Not yet, I want to check on something before going to the dorms." Sudo replied while looking quite suspiciously at the time on his phone.

'What does he need to check?' Yuichi found it weird for Sudo to answer in such a way. He usually outrightly said what he is going to do in case he didn't want to go back to the dorms yet but this time he simply said that he has "something" to check.

"Alright, see you tomorrow at the school" Yuichi replied with a smile before leaving the gymnasium. He was aware that there was no taunting for a few past days between Sudo and Class C students which is why he found it strange for them to suddenly stop. He also felt as if Sudo was waiting for him to leave but maybe it was just a false feeling, despite that, he decided to follow Sudo once he disappears from his sight. If he is just about to confess to some girl, Yuichi will just simply leave but he can't just leave it without looking more deeply into it.
