1 Between friends and stranger
After uploading the video of his retirement from Montube, he takes a deep breath before releasing a sigh of boredom.
"*sigh*... I'm getting bored with posting a video... I need something new... anything besides making a video..." Mutter MC with lazy eyes planted on his face as he looks at the TV that is showing a show of a hero just defeating another top 10 Villains. "Hero... I wonder why it needs a license in the first place... centuries ago heroes didn't even need it... they just needed a desire and reason why they became a hero..."
He stands up from the cushion before looking into the compass that has been by his side for his whole life. This company was created by MC himself in the past. This compass will lead the person holding it to achieve the happiness that everyone wants. Luckily… this compass exists only MC knows.
If others find out about his compass… they will try to steal it from him. Well, who doesn't want a compass that will give you happiness that can't be described? Losing hope? This compass will point where you should go to gain hope. Divorce? The compass will point toward a person that will loyally toward you no matter what happens.
Have a suicide though? Don't worry this compass will point toward something that will throw your thought of suicide away. Less money? It will guide you to a place that will bring you money.
This compass is special indeed… but you must always follow your instinct if you want to achieve something you want. It's kinda hard for MC to use it at first, but as time passes by, he gets used to it and manages to gain happiness.
The compass's name is "The Compass"... yeah I know it sounds weird, MC is the one who named it… not me. I'm just an author. The compass is surrounded by 4 gems. Blue, Red, Yellow, and Purple. What does each color mean in this compass?
Nothing. Each gem does nothing shits at all. It is a decoration MC thinks makes the compass not boring when using it. Anyways back to our story, MC holding a compass as he waits for it to spin and point out what he should do.

"Is this thing working anymore? Why is it not spinning?" muttered MC with his left eyebrow raised while tapping the compass. "Or I have not used this for 4 years?" as he thinks about why it won't work, his phone suddenly vibrates as the sound of a badass person comes from his phone.

'Hmm? Ood… it's been 5 years since I received a message from anyone.' thought MC with curiosity as he grabbed the phone outta his side pocket as he opened it to see someone's number. ' i forgot I never saved anyone's number before… Well, what do I gain from being lonely like me?'
Tapping the message, a voice message can be seen on the messaging app as MC taps the play button to hear what it said.
"Umm… What do I need to say?... ah I see!! Thank you. *fake cough* Well let's start. Hey MC, it is me, your classmate leader, Maya Shima. You just called me Maya. The reason I message you is that there's… what it called again… AH, reunion!!! Yes, reunion!! At our college. There will be many people there!! Some bring the parents… some bring their girlfriend… and the rest you can think of. There are a lot of people coming… I guaranteed that… I guess? That was a fucking lie… I'm not sure how many people are coming to our college after… that 'accident'. I hope you come to MC… even though we have never talked before… at least we make eye contact right? And please… if you need help… feel free to tell me. I will try my best to solve your problem. I know how you were treated at college… but don't worry… all people that treat you harshly will never come to this reunion. I will guarantee it. See you at the reunion MC!!! Please come… I have high expectations from you." Hearing this, MC sighed before tapping something on his keyboard on the phone as he sent a message to Maya.

'Sure sure. Next week huh? That long… *look at the time* it's 4:50 PM… I should buy some groceries for tonight.' said MC before he closed his phone as he prepared himself to go to market.

Inside the market, MC is still looking at his compass that still doesn't spin from his house. Pushing the shopping cart forward he randomly put seafood that did not contain "Shrimp". It is not like he hates shrimp, he ate shrimp, until one day his body suddenly aches as he throws out for 20 minutes non-stop.
After that day, he swore to not eat shrimp again. Every time he sees shrimp, he suddenly has the urge to throw it out of nowhere. Thus he gains a new sense, called 'Shrimp sense'. This helps him sense the location of the shrimp or if it is inside the ingredient on the food he bought. For example, cup noodles, just one look at it MC already knows the seasoning contains shrimp.
"Excuse me, sorry for asking, but are you MC the Montuber?" This question snaps MC out of his thoughts as he turns around to see a woman with white hair and red eyes asking him to confirm whether MC is a Montuber. Without hesitation, MC tells her. "Yes, I am. Do you need something?" ask MC with curiosity.
"Is that so? *Grab MC's hand and shake his hand crazily* My name is Liza Berth!! I'm your biggest fan!! All of your survival tips and how to defeat monsters help me in my journey to become the strongest VILLAIN!" said Liza with excitement as MC took a few moments to process what she just said. "Villain?" ask MC for confirmation.
MC makes the survival tips and how to defeat a monster tutorial for fun since he dreams to become a Montuber one days, thus the compass is the one that leads him to be a Montuber. He wants all people watching his video to save and achieve the dream and goals of life.
MC dream and goal? Already achieved. Yet he feels empty for some reason. That is why he makes the compass. To make MC have a new goal to achieve that won't make him feel empty again. He never thought in his life he would meet his fans since his average video view is around 50-100. Now he meets he feels happy, but at the same time feels confused, weird, and many more.
He experiences something new in his life. Roller-coaster emotion. He doesn't know how to react to his fan's answer earlier. Before MC can open his mouth, his fans continue talking.
"Because of you MC! I managed to avenge my sister! I kill every single one of my family! Not just the man… even women and children too… *smirk crazily* Thanks to you I finally become what everyone fears!" said Liza as she smirked crazily while staring into MC's eyes. Her eyes light in red color as a fire of will can be seen fired up in her eyes.
MC looks around to see everyone is stopped at the position to make MC know what power she used right now. It is similar to time stopping, but instead, everything around them stops because of space manipulation. This makes MC want to run away from her, why did he not kill her?
MC doesn't have a hero license. So no. MC vowed his whole life he will not interfere with the hero thing until they removed the stupid license from existence. He will only act when a person he cares about is in danger… if he has one. Don't worry he will have one soon.
"Umm you need something from me?" Upon hearing this, Liza suddenly calms down before she takes a deep breath as she stares at MC with a smug plastered on his face. "No… I just want to make sure of your knowledge of my existence. I want you to remember my name as we meet again in the future~ I want you to sleep while remembering my name… eat while remembering my name… jerk off while remembering my name… and many more!" staring at her with worries, MC began to feel this woman needed to see therapy right now.
"MC… What do you desire? I will do my best to make sure your desire gets fulfilled." MC hearing this doesn't know how to answer, so he just randomly spoke out what is in his mind. "To fill my empty heart with something I considered excitement a long time ago." With this statement Liza closed her eyes as a smirk before opening her eyes to show a different eye color from before. Before it was red, now it's a blue ocean. 'Damn that's cool.'
"I know what to do. I will go now… tata~" wave Liza as she disappeared within view and everything surrounding him began to move again. MC shrugged like nothing happened as he bought groceries before walking toward his house. When he arrives at his home, he turns on the tv before going toward the kitchen to put his food ingredient.
A tv in his house can be seen displaying a picture of the girl he meet early with #1 beside her name. MC seeing this grabbed a remote before turning off his tv as he lay on the cushion. As he thought about his meeting with the girl earlier, he wondered if the power she used earlier was stolen from people or her family.
Manipulation is some kind of power that is very powerful, every power that contains word manipulation is very dangerous since they can destroy the world if they want.
MC has a power that can rival everything, his power is called 'Manipulation", he can control everything he wants with the thought of his mind. He can manipulate everything, even Reality. He even can manipulate himself to have power that does not exist in his body. He can manipulate time, his body health, his lifespan, and many more.
As he began to fall asleep, his phone suddenly vibrated as the sound of something cool came out again.
*Someone call Boi*
"*sigh* Since when does someone have my number… or is it from a charity place? Im was pretty sure they ask for a name and number. Scam?"
Pressing the answer button, a voice he is very familiar with can be heard on his phone.
"Ei Ei Ei!!! How is my anti-shrimp bro doing? So how were your days?!" Upon hearing this, MC smiled angrily before talking to the phone. "I'm good Jake!! How about you? Especially your mother? And twin sister? Don't forget your auntie too!!"
"MC!! Bring my mother out-" but got interrupted by MC. "Sure I will Jake, just tell me where I should pick her up." "Argh! Stop, hear what I want to say, at {23/11/X901} 9:30 PM, there is a new dungeon!!! It's SSS rank though!! Wanna go with me?!`` Hearing this, MC suddenly remembers that he has a reunion at his college… who gives a damn about that? He has no friends there. The only friend MC has is Jake Brider, the one he talkin about right now.
If he goes to college, he will miss a SSS rank dungeon!! No way he's gonna miss that!! Does Maya have high expectations from him? Did she forget that she has never been friends with MC, and she has high expectations from him?
MC never cares what other people feel or going through unless that said person is someone Jake knows. MC has many friends and thus girlfriends, but all of them leave MC. friend because MC is being accused of a crime he won't do, and girlfriend because she wants to focus on getting stronger. She doesn't want MC to get harmed when she trains and tries to become stronger than MC. She is afraid someone will come after him.
The same goes for MC's other girlfriend… Well, he has had many girlfriends before. But all of them have their reasons for leaving MC. They promise that they will get back into a relationship once the task is finished or the goal is achieved. Well, good luck with that, MC never wants to have anything with his Ex-friend or Ex-girlfriend.
"Yes, so did I need to go there or did you pick me up?"
"I picked you up. You don't have transport right?"
"I forgot about that… well see you next week!!"

Seeing Jake hang out, MC opened Maya's message profile before blocking her from sending any message. As he does that, he sees below Maya's profile many profiles suffer the same fate as her, getting blocked by MC.
'I don't have any reason why I should befriend or get back together with them.' think MC before he turns off his phone as he turns on sleep mode on himself.
