Happy To Follow The Path Planned

Gu Long walked aimlessly, he left Bright Blue city a few days ago and arrived at various villages around Bright Blue city. Even though there were some differences between when he was alive then and now he was still happy to see that humans could survive the threat of beasts, and even the current food chain was slightly reversed where some humans would cooperate and hunt beasts.

As Gu Long was leisurely walking on a dense forest road he saw from a distance a village where there were several farmlands and houses made of simple materials. Even though he had seen several similar villages, Gu Long still felt nostalgic when he saw this simple village from afar.

'This is what human cities used to look like,' he thought to himself.

Just as Gu Long was planning to leave and stop by the village suddenly from the right he felt a movement rushing towards him. Without much effort, he simply pulled his body back and raised his right hand.

Suddenly from behind a dense tree, an arrow shot towards Gu Long's palm which he raised and right into his grip.

The person behind the arrow shooting was astonished when he saw the arrow he shot seemed to come into Gu Long's hand by itself. Just as he was about to shoot his second arrow he suddenly realized that Gu Long had disappeared from his standing position. With his rich experience of ambush, he immediately jumped from the top of the tree and dashed into the forest.

But not until he ran 10 steps suddenly in front of him saw a middle-aged man in Daoist clothes that he saw standing on the main road.

'Damn, an expert' thought the shooter. When he found out he couldn't escape the shooter deftly jumped back while taking 3 arrows which he immediately prepared in his bow. While his body was still in the air, he lightly aimed at Gu Long and released the arrow while jumping backward.

The archer hoped that Gu Long would be a little restrained and give him time to flee in another direction, but what he didn't expect was that Gu Long only slightly raised his hand and waved it. The shooter was so shocked that he forgot how to breathe. The only thing on his mind right now was how to escape from the person in front of him. When he was busy thinking the person in front of him suddenly disappeared somewhere. Just as he was wondering where that person had gone he heard a voice from behind him.

"Why did you attack me? If you can't come up with a reasonable explanation. I'll kill you right here" Hearing this the shooter panicked and accidentally pulled the arrow from his waist and aimed the bow at Gu Long. However, it wasn't until he turned towards Gu Long that he suddenly felt a cold feeling from his arm that was holding the arrow. When he didn't realize what had happened to his hands that suddenly felt cold he looked at Gu Long and found the person holding a human hand holding a bow.

'Unfortunately, I met such a troublesome opponent' thought the archer.

"You prefer the rough way," said Gu Long, who was holding the archer's hand that he had pulled out of his place.

It was then that suddenly blood began to ooze from the shoulders of the archer who currently had no arms. As soon as the blood came out, the archer suddenly seemed to chew something in his mouth.

As he did so his aura suddenly began to change terrifyingly. The blood gushing out of his shoulders stopped instantly, his body began to slowly increase in size as his skin color also gradually turned reddish.

However, before he even finished his transformation Gu Long suddenly waved his hand as a sudden force forcefully grabbed his head. Just as he was wondering what was really going on he saw a red body measuring 2.5 meters long standing in front of him. As he wondered whose body it was he saw that it had no head on it. Only then did he realize that what he saw was his own body.

Before he could realize his thoughts, his consciousness slowly disappeared and his world became completely dark.

"What's this weird thing again? How can a human use the Orc Nation's Berserk?" (note: the orcs here are like a half-animal human race, for example, centaurs, satyrs, mermaids, etc.)

Gu Long found it strange because the abilities that people he had just killed were clearly displaying the special abilities of the Orcs which could increase their abilities several times by sacrificing some of their blood essences. But it was clear that the human in front of him was using the special ability of the Orc race.

After removing the body from that person, Gu Long continued his journey, not long after he walked again several people were blocking him. The difference was that these people no longer directly attacked Gu Long but only blocked him.

"Sorry this village lord isn't having guests." One of the people who looked like a group leader came forward and cupped his hands towards Gu Long respectfully.

"Hmm? Why don't they have guests?" asked Gu Long who had seen the state of the village with his energy. When he saw the state of Gu Long village he was so shocked that he was at a loss for words. He clearly saw fellow humans fighting each other and killing with ease like other humans were not of the same race. This made Gu Long feel very strange because of the changes that occurred in the world while he was asleep.

"There is something in this village that must be cleaned up so as not to infect the surrounding villages sir" The leader explained very smoothly as if he was telling the truth.

'A very easy person to tell lies. Undoubtedly he would forever be unable to know the truth about the Dao. No wonder his cultivation level was stuck in that realm for so long. Weak'

"You even lie so fluently. How many territories have you treated like this?" Gu Long didn't waste time saying nonsense.

At first, they wondered what this person in front of them had thrown at them. But when they saw that it was ahead and it was their comrade's head, they swiftly pulled out their weapons and prepared to attack Gu Long.

Gu Long had thought that they were indeed from the same group as the person who had attacked him and hoped that they would attack him too. But what Gu Long didn't expect was for the group leader to raise his hand and stop his men from continuing to attack Gu Long.

"I don't know what made you kill one of my men but I expect an explanation from you," The leader said in a slightly changed tone.

If it was anyone else, they would assume that the leader was afraid of Gu Long, but for an expert, they would see that the leader was buying time to prepare for something that he believed could kill this person in front of him.

Gu Long who is a very experienced person certainly knows what the leader is planning and is happy to follow the path planned by the group leader.
