I couldn't do that so I rejected the notion and told him to stand by for a few days until I talk to you. That's when he flipped completely, asking me if he could talk to you again, only this time more properly."

Lucas couldn't help but get in his own thoughts, the fact that his impulsive behavior had changed the guy was a newly found knowledge and skill for him.

"As I said before, I couldn't have let him talk to me like that. I am not an individual now, but a leader of this whole territory and the owner of the shelter. I can't let others move over me while I ignore and go on."
