7 Shooting

The filming of "Scream" has started for about twenty days. The crew is going to shoot the school scenes at Pisin Roschen High School, while the housing locations were selected near the school to accommodate the shooting better.

Carl had rough days of running here and there everyday. For this purpose, he bought a new car, a black colored Candillac. It matches his status as a company boss quite well. Carl stepped out of the office wearing formal clothes. His driver Ryan was already waiting for him. He sat in the car and said: "To the set."

Ryan obeyed: "Yes sir."

It was two weeks ago.

Ryan was introduced to him by his assistant Jason. Ryan is a retired soldier who needed quite a lot of money due to his family difficulties, approximately 100 k dollars. 100 k dollars is a very big amount and in 1995, people are unable to earn this amount even after years. He remembers when he met Ryan for the first time, and asked: "I can help you, and you need to be my bodyguard and driver both."

Ryan immediately nodded: "I will do any job sir."

Carl stopped him and said: "First listen and then decide. Hollywood is not a good industry. Being with me, you will see many immoral things. Will you be able to face them?"

The car stopped at the entrance of the crew of "Scream". Carl got out of the car and entered the crew arranged with the help of MGM.

The staff was working as usual, director was instructing the people, cameraman were putting the cameras together for the next set and prop artists were managing the props.

The director Was Carven saw Carl standing by the side watching the whole work. He came forward to greet.

Carl asked: "Director, How's the shooting going?"

Director replied: "At this pace, it will be completed by the mid of May, few days before the set time."

Carl was satisfied with the response. He said: "Mr.Carven , if there is any kind of problem with the equipments or at the set, you can call me directly or tell my assistant. Jason will take care of everything."

After greeting the director, Kevin went to greet the actors or you can say the actors he knew before. He greeted Ben, Ewan and others. There was an unexpected person with Ben, Matt Damon.

Ben saw Carl and greeted him. Matt was about to greet too, but Carl spoke first: "Hello, Ben and Matt."

Matt was surprised that Carl knew him. Ben asked: "Carl, When did you know Matt?"

Carl replied with a smile: "I don't know personally, but I still know about the potential newcomers in the industry."

This surprised both Ben and Matt. Carl is a producer and an investor, so he must be a part of those big circles. Does this mean Matt is well known in producers circle. If Carl knew what they they were thinking, he would salute the brain creativity of the both. He knows Matt because of his future fame, but the two young men didn't know this and were lost in their own thoughts.

Ben said excitedly: "Am I also a part of potential newcomers list?"

Carl didn't know what list Ben was talking about. He just said: "You are too, although Matt ranks quite high."

Matt was again stunned. He asked: "Where do I rank?" he thought he was just a newcomer like the other newcomers.

Carl thought for a while and said: "Number 2 or maybe number 3."

He doesn't know what these two friends have been brainstorming, he said his purpose: "Ben, Matt, I heard you two have written a screenplay. I want to purchase the screenplay."

Both Matt and Ben were surprised. Matt replied: "But we are under negotiations with Chris Rock entertainment."

Carl smiled. He already knows about this. Nothing is hidden in the industry. He said: "You can sell it to me. Greyson pictures can pay better and I can sign a contract with you to adapt it to a movie in a maximum of three years. If Greyson pictures violate the contract, you two will have the ownership of the screenplay back and also the compensation."

The second part of sentence hit like a nail at the point and both boys were shaken. No one in Hollywood can stand firm in face of benefits.
