5 First Customer!

The next day

Tenshi woke up bright and early, he brushed his teeth and looked at himself in the mirror. His wings were much bigger now, he could even fly if he wanted to, but he normally tucked them on his back, only revealing a slight hunch.

His eyes sparkled like stars, but they were very gentle.

Most of the time, he wore a thin blindfold that he could see through, however sometimes he would just walk around with his eyes closed.

After 16 years, he was adept at walking around with slightly impaired vision. Not to mention, he didn't wear the blindfold when he was alone. He didn't even know why his eyes were like this, they didn't do anything special.

He couldn't even shoot lasers from his eyes, so he figured it was a coincidence since he spent so much time in heaven. Along with his wings, they were absolutely beautiful and soft, but other than flight, they didn't seem to serve a purpose.

Tenshi liked them though. They were pretty.

Plus his mother loved them.

There was nothing else to say.

After finishing everything, Tenshi took a blindfold with him and picked up the box, walking out of the house. He locked the door behind him and walked down the street to the Cafe.

When he got there, he looked up at the twilight as the sun rose and smiled gently. He took the key out of his pocket and opened the door.

The Signboard above him flashed and the cafe seemed to come alive!

Hibari's Cafe grand opening!

Tenshi settled the box down and took out pictures of his mother and father, putting them on a shelf behind the counter.

Tenshi took out a picture of only his mother and sighed lightly, saying softly "Wish me luck, Mom." before hanging it up on the wall. He put away the books and other things before putting on an apron and cleaning the pictures with a rag.

When he was done he smiled gently and picked up a broom, habitually sweeping the floor as he made his way to the door, opening it wide.

Tenshi locked the latch that held the door open and let out a breath as he saw a standing sign by his side.

He looked at it and it said 'Open!' Tenshi picked up the sign and propped it out right by the door. He smiled to himself and turned around, walking back inside.

He put the broom away and wiped down the tables slowly, not expecting any customers at all.

After all, it was the first day. How could there be someon-

"Hello?"

Tenshi was startled and turned his head to the voice with his eyes closed, asking "Hello, sir?" he could see a guy with a black bowl cut, thick eyebrows, and a green leotard! Tenshi smiled gently, rubbing his hands with the rag, asking "How may I help you today, sir?"

Guy was startled as he looked around, he didn't seem to have seen this place before! Usually, nobody was awake this early! So he was shocked to see a shop was actually open! Normally, Ninjas didn't really interact with civilians, sure they went to stores among other things but other than that, they were mostly distant.

Guy asked curiously, "Is this place new? I've never seen someone up as early as me! Hahah!" Tenshi walked behind the counter and said softly with a gentle smile, "I just opened today. Do you usually take this route? I've seen you run around before." Guy gave him a thumbs up, smiling with a star at the corner of his lips, "Yep! Everyday! I just stopped to see who's youth was burning as fiercely as mine!"

Tenshi snorted gently, smiling happily, "Well, I'm Tenshi. Welcome to Hibari's Cafe. Would you like a coffee?" Guy tilted his head and asked "Coffee?" Tenshi explained softly with a patient tone, "It's a drink, similar to tea in the sense that it's brewed with a plant. However, the difference is that it will give you a boost of energy via its caffeinated nature."

Guy was confused and Tenshi smiled gently, "Would you like to try? I was going to make one for myself." Guy looked outside, seeing that the sun still hadn't risen, so he smiled and nodded, "Sure!"

Tenshi nodded and smiled as he walked to a bed of hot sand, saying gently, "You can watch, if you'd like, Sir." Guy walked over and touched the sand before taking it back like lightning, "So hot! Oh, right. Call me Guy!"

Tenshi smiled and nodded softly, "Okay, Guy. The sand is very hot… would you like a cold rag?" Guy smiled thankfully and laughed, "Nah! That's alright, wounds are the meaning of YOUTH!" Tenshi crushed coffee beans in a mortar and asked with interest, "Youth?"

Guy lit up and explained "You see, the Flames of Youth burn in our bodies everyday! To be a great ninja, one must stoke the fire inside of them and turn that flame into a blazing sun full of Youthfulness, even you, Miss!"

Tenshi opened his mouth and closed it, smiling gently, "Actually, I'm a guy." Guy was dumbfounded and said in shock, "WHAT?! But you're so gentle!" Tenshi laughed softly as he poured the grinded beans into a Cezve, replying "My dad used to say that I was more like my mom. He taught me a way to be manly." Guy looked at him curiously, "Oh?"

Tenshi poured water in the Cezve before stepping back as he took a deep breath, flexing hard while puffing out his chest, saying loudly, "MANLY!" Guy laughed and clapped, "That's great! Hahahaha!" he did the same and shouted "MANLY YOUTH!"

Tenshi smiled happily while burying half the Cezve in the hot sand, saying "Not bad, Guy-san." Guy looked at the pictures and asked "Is that them?" Tenshi nodded gently, "Yeah. Unfortunately, they both passed." Guy fell silent and sighed, "Me too."

Tenshi smiled gently and comforted him, "I'm sure they were very proud of you, Guy-san." Guy smiled happily, "I hope so! Haha…" before sighing but he perked up, changing the topic, "What are you doing exactly?"

Tenshi pointed at the sand and smiled, explaining gently, "The metal can is called a Cezve. I crushed the coffee beans into grinds before pouring them inside and adding water. The Hot Sand will heat the Cezve and boil the water with the coffee grind, extracting their flavor and nutrients. It's a relatively calm process."

He looked at the Cezve and saw the coffee bubbling inside. He pulled it out of the sand and moved it in a circle before grabbing two espresso cups as he continued "Our talk was so pleasant, the coffee finished already." he poured coffee from the Cezve into the cups, saying "Although these beans are relatively normal, they should have a slightly bitter taste with hints of dark chocolate. Oh, don't drink the grinds at the bottom of the cup, they don't taste very good."

He handed Guy a cup and smiled gently, "Here you go. It's a bit hot, please be careful." Guy held the little cup and looked at it curiously, speaking his mind, "You're really so gentle, Tenshi! Thank you!"

Tenshi put the Cezve in the sink and washed it as he smiled, "Thank you, Guy-san." Guy smiled happily as he sipped the little cup. Tenshi cleaned the Cezve before hanging it upside down on a rack, worriedly cleaning the drops of water.

He had a bit of a cleanliness problem…

Guy suddenly shouted in shock "HEY! THAT'S PRETTY GOOD! WOW!" Tenshi smiled gently as he left a napkin under the drips, saying "Thank you." before sipping his own. He let out a breath and sighed, "Not quite up to standard, sorry about that."

Guy drank the whole thing and said excitedly "Are you kidding? That was great! I feel full to the brim with explosive YOUTH!" Tenshi didn't know what that meant but he still smiled gently, "It will be even better next time, Guy-san."

Guy grinned and looked outside before being shocked, the sun was rising! He had to go! He looked at Tenshi troubled, "I didn't expect to buy anything, how much was it? I'll run back and come pay!" Tenshi shook his head gently, smiling "You're my first customer, it's on the house."

Guy shook his head firmly, "No, I must pay! Such a youthful drink, how can I not?!" Tenshi sighed and smiled, "350 Ryo." Guy shouted in disbelief "So cheap?!" Tenshi smiled gently, "It's not expensive to make after all." Guy said seriously, "You should make it a bit more expensive! This is too cheap!"

Tenshi just smiled gently, "I'll think about it." Guy laughed and waved, "I'll come back tomorrow… But I'll drop by with a friend later! See you, Tenshi!" Tenshi waved as he left, "Have a nice day, Guy-san."

Guy smiled happily and left, going for his run, a big smile on his face.

Tenshi saw his smile and smiled to himself.

He had his first customer!

What a happy development!

Tenshi thought that he wouldn't have any customers for a few days. It seemed he was thinking too much.

He covered his hand in a rag and picked up Guy's cup before washing it with a gentle smile.

He finished his own espresso before cleaning it as well.

He picked up the napkin and threw it out before flicking his hands, thinking about getting gloves. He never liked being dirty, however since he was born, he didn't even like being touched by anyone except his parents.

Even brushing by someone would make Tenshi feel like his stomach was churning.

One time someone other than his mother held his hand and he had to wash them immediately. This was the main reason why the Cafe was absolutely spotless.

Not even a speck of dust!

In Tenshi's free time, he would wipe down the tables and sweep the floor. If he finished and was still waiting, he would just sit down and read a book from the bookshelf.

The rest of the day was as expected.

There were no customers at all, it was a ghost cafe.

However, that changed when Guy came back, dragging along a guy with spiky white hair and one dead eye exposed!
