29 A tragic loss...

A month went by like this

Tenshi was still working on the coffee machine. It was more complicated to build than he expected! He sat on the ground with parts neatly stacked next to him as he reached into the counter, fixing a gear with a wrench.

Guy called out, "Tenshi!" Tenshi leaned to the side and looked at Guy through the glass pastry display, smiling "Guy-san… Who are these little guys?" as he got up, shaking his hands over the sink.

The grease and oil slid right off as the coffee film went down the drain before covering his hands again.

Tenshi looked at the three little ninja guys. One of them looked like Guy with big eyebrows and a bowl cut, he was even wearing a green jumpsuit with weights on his legs. He gave Tenshi a big thumbs up, grinning with a star at the corner of his lips, "I love you!"

Tenshi was stunned and blinked slowly. Guy laughed, "That's Rock Lee, my star pupil! The pretty little lady is Tenten, and finally, the Hyuga Clan Genius, Neji Hyuga!" Tenshi looked at Lee, Tenten, and Neji, smiling "Not bad! A good group."

Neji squinted at Tenshi, muttering "Are you… a man?" Tenten was stunned and Tenshi smiled, "Mhm!" Tenten gasped, "You are?!" Lee laughed, "You didn't know?" Tenten looked at the guys and was confused, "I'm the only one?!"

Guy looked at Tenshi and ignored their nonsense, asking "Can they have a coffee?" Tenshi tilted his head and muttered "If they're 12… They should be fine… Not too much though, maybe one a day. Children below 10 can't have any coffee at all." as he shook his head.

He glanced at the three before smiling, "Go sit down, I'll make them." Guy smiled and brought them to sit down as Tenten asked, "We didn't order though." Guy chuckled, "Tenshi can tell what people like! After so long, he can catch a taste from a glance! It's pretty cool."

Hinata ran in and huffed, "Boss-san… I'm late…" Tenshi smiled gently, "It's okay, Hinata, come." Hinata walked over quietly. Tenshi put on her apron and tied it behind her back, smiling gently, "Work hard today, right?" Hinata clenched her fists, nodding as she replied firmly "Mhm! I'll take an order today for sure!"

Tenshi smiled happily, "I believe in you!" Hinata blushed shyly, muttering "But maybe… it'll be too hard…" Tenshi waved his fists, cheering her on, "You can do it, Hinata! I don't pay you for nothing!" Hinata snorted gently, "O-Okay!" as she walked out.

Neji and Hinata's gazes met and Hinata hid behind the counter in an instant.

Day 67- Haven't taken an order yet…

Tenshi laughed and didn't care too much. She was a cute server, plus she brought out coffee to customers and picked up their empty cups, bringing them to the counter for Tenshi.

Just this was enough for him. There weren't that many customers at the same time anyway. But as the Cafe expanded there would be more people… He needed another Employee sometime soon.

Tenten, Lee, and Neji received their coffee.

Lee got a Macchiato with chocolate on top, Tenten got an Espresso, and Neji received a Moka with extra chocolate on top.

Guy got his cappuccino and smiled as he sipped it. Neji stared at the coffee with his Byakugan, muttering "There's chakra in here?" Guy nodded and pointed to the coffee plant, "There's Chakra in the beans."

Tenten sipped it and smiled happily, "Yum!" Lee shouted happily "Tastes like YOUTH!" Guy hugged him, shouting "You understand, Lee!" Neji sipped his coffee and his expression didn't change, but he continued drinking it quickly.

Tenshi smiled happily and went back to building the coffee machine.

After that day, he got a few more Hyuga customers. Not too many, Tenshi asked and one of them said that most of them prefer tea. Tenshi was dumbfounded, how could you like tea more? Not to mention, it was so much more expensive!

He sighed to himself and built the machine in depression…

Slowly the months passed.

Tenshi covered the tables and chairs on the Terrasse with tarps during the winter.

Finally, the spring rolled around.

Tenshi was sitting outside, looking at the Hokage Mountain, laughing as Naruto drew some funny things on it with paint.

Unfortunately, Hinata came to him the next day and cried that she had to quit.

Tenshi was stunned, his only employee quit?! How could this be?!

Hinata wiped her eyes, sobbing softly "Boss… Hinata has t-to go be a ninja… I'm sorry…" Tenshi wiped her tears with a napkin and sighed, smiling gently "It's okay. Be a strong ninja, okay? For the cafe!" Hinata sniffed and nodded firmly "Mhm!"

Tenshi stood up as she ran away, he wiped his tears and sighed sadly. A sad day indeed, his only cute employee left him. He walked back inside and started playing a sad song on the piano…

The next day

Tenshi was making coffee and fixing the machine for the 107th time, when Naruto ran in, showing Tenshi his ninja headband, laughing "Hahaha! No more garbage for me! I'm a ninja now! Soon I'll be Hokage! Hahaha!"

Tenshi turned over and smiled in amusement, "Trash Fox-kun… Hokage has to pay too." Naruto turned white and shouted "HE DOES?!" Tenshi laughed softly, pointing at Hiruzen on the Terrasse. Naruto looked over and saw him playing Shogi with Danzo, who laughed at him and shook his fist angrily.

Naruto wilted and tears dripped from his face, "Where's the garbage, Boss…" Tenshi pointed behind him and Naruto sulked to the garbage, dragging it away sadly, slowly disappearing out the door, full of sad vibes…
