1 Ryosuke

Born in an unknown place as the only vampire in known existence, Ryosuke had to endure many perils throughout his early life.

One of the astonishing things about Ryosuke was the fact that he had no biological parents!

This is because he is the original and sole vampire!! He was born as the direct result of an enormous battle in what would thereafter be recognized as the greatest war in the Mythic Realms. This war was fought between the Heavens, the dragon race, and the Underworld.

The climax of this terrific battle led to a temporary destruction of some of the Natural and Heavenly Laws. These Laws, which were never supposed to be possible to damage, created unmitigated pandemonium and indescribable devastation to all sides involved in the war. Just as all hope appeared lost throughout the realms and the annihilation reached its peak, a sudden unexplained peacefulness spread as the damaged Natural and Heavenly Laws restored themselves.

Grateful for the end to the widespread destruction, the various forces of the Mythic Realms decided to end the massive war with a treaty of truce, hoping to never provoke such a terrifying disaster to appear again. What they didn't know was that Ryosuke was born as a result of the destruction and subsequent reformation of the Laws.

Shortly after his birth, an elderly man called 'Slade' discovered him in the midst of a 10 km wide crater of a devastated forest. Slade would become the only individual Ryosuke could call family and took care of him until he reached the age of 10 years old. It was at this age when Ryosuke's only family passed away.

Feeling powerless that he could not cure his father's illness, Ryosuke's ambition for knowledge and power was awoken to an unprecedented degree. He set for himself the goal of becoming the number one existence within all the Mythic Realms so that he would never have to experience this powerlessness again.

In the present day, he stands at 2.00 meters tall, weighing 100 kg. He is a peerlessly handsome man, appearing to be in his late 20s with pale skin, piercing crimson-colored irises, and jet black hair that falls down past his shoulders. His goal of becoming the number one existence within the Mythic Realms had long been achieved.

The great power of being the original vampire assisted him on his cultivation journey to the top. Throughout his path, there were many who sought to murder him from lesser powers to large powers to even the gods themselves. One after one, each of them were mercilessly destroyed, only to be added to the already insane strength of Ryosuke. Due to the nature of his vampirism coupled with the complete slaughter of his foes, people gave him the moniker, 'God of Blood and Darkness.'

As his cultivation raised to higher levels, Ryosuke began to implement a series of constraints to his vampiric power that could be released and sealed at his discretion. He did this for a couple of reasons. For one, his vampiric power, not even at full strength, grew overwhelmingly powerful for any other being in the Mythic Realms. As for the second reason, his cultivation was growing to a point that others could no longer reach. Only Ryosuke himself knows just how many constraints he placed upon himself, but what is known by others is that the higher level of constraint released, the more power that becomes available to him.

After attaining his goal of strength, Ryosuke has become much more relaxed, doing things he didn't even need for survival, such as regularly eating, drinking, and sleeping. Such simple acts in the past were more of a luxury for him rather than a necessity.

"I have accomplished my goal, but there is nobody for me to call friend or family. Everyone once with me has either died or betrayed me… The road to power has been a long and lonely one indeed." Ryosuke spoke with a hint of melancholy in his voice.

With such time on his hands, he became much more contemplative on his situation and the events of the past. Tomorrow will mark him being alive for 10,000 years. However, he never could have predicted what that day would bring him...

*Boom!*

Upon waking up the next morning, Ryosuke found himself in the middle of a massive crater that extended several kilometers, very similar to the one of his birth.

"Hmm? How did I get here? Why do I feel so different? Wait… my cultivation is gone? What has happened?!?" Ryosuke yelled out as he lost his poise for the first time in many years.

After examining that his cultivation has returned to nothing, he then noticed a unique and especially boundless power circulating through him. This energy which seemed foreign to him began to remind him of a conversation he had very early on his cultivation journey. When he first met with the dragon race, they detected he was an anomaly compared to any other being they had ever encountered. After further investigation, they were almost shocked to death to discover that not only did he have two unique bloodlines, but one of them was the eternal dragon blood, which had yet to awaken.

The eternal dragon was what the dragon race knew as their god. Although they had lived for hundreds of thousands of years, they never learned of any eternal dragon ever being born. They only knew of their god through the ancient legends passed down throughout the dragon race's heritage. It was highly sacred for them to the extent that they would rather die than disclose any knowledge regarding their god to anyone not possessing the blood of a true dragon.

The dragons then revealed to Ryosuke his situation and told him that one day, once specific requirements were met, he would awaken his second bloodline. They didn't know when it would happen, what the requirements were, or what would happen when it awakened. What they did know was that Ryosuke would be able to develop into an unprecedented existence once it awakened.

From then on, the knowledge of his second bloodline was held a secret between him and the dragons to keep him protected until he gained the capacity to defend himself from those who might covet his hidden power.

'It has been so many thousands of years since I was first told that I would one day awaken the eternal dragon blood flowing within me. It was to where I almost forgot it existed until now.' Ryosuke internalized as he was incredibly perplexed, but also thrilled to receive such a generous gift on the date of his birth.

'Although my cultivation has disappeared, this is an opportunity for me to reach new heights! There are many mysteries about my current situation, but for now, I will remain in this place. After all, I need to confirm some things about my newly awakened bloodline and check if there are any changes with my vampiric blood. Maybe I will use this new opportunity to enjoy my time and take things slow. Using my 10,000 years of knowledge and experience, I will no doubt have infinitely more potential than I previously had with my cultivation.'

Ryosuke then noticed that he was entirely naked and missing his spirit ring!!! Not only that, but his physical appearance slightly altered as well. That slight difference being his crimson eyes now having vertical slit-like pupils resembling a dragon's eyes.

'Losing my spirit ring is certainly annoying, but I suppose there is nothing for me to do about it right now. I should focus on exploring to figure out just where I've landed.' Ryosuke pondered as he then used his blood manipulation ability to generate a set of black robes with red lining on the edges for him to wear.

Although his cultivation is gone, he still has his vampire blood, newly awakened eternal dragon blood, and his immeasurable soul strength. His vampire blood gave him an immense advantage over other cultivators due to the many special abilities that he could use even with no cultivation at all!

While making his way out of the crater, Ryosuke thought about the best way to begin his foundation, specifically some of the techniques taught to him by the dragons. Several of the eternal dragon techniques were passed down through their legends for when someone with the bloodline was born. Despite knowing the requirements for the techniques, many dragons still attempted to cultivate them, but they quickly discovered that it was impossible without being born with the blood of their god.

'They also mentioned that my new bloodline will turn me into a unique existence that has the potential of becoming a 'True Immortal.'

There were many considered to be immortals in the Mythic Realms, but the term only applied to them in the sense that they would keep their appearance at the time of achieving a specific cultivation and also no longer being able to die of old age. Despite these benefits, they were able to be killed by any other means. However, being a True Immortal meant not being able to die no matter what happens. Because of this, the term 'True Immortal' was regarded a legend sought after by many, dragons included.

'Not only is the bloodline itself unique, but the energy it produces appears to be endless and immensely powerful. It really is unlike anything I have seen before; No wonder none of the other dragons could cultivate their god's techniques.'

As Ryosuke was contemplating, he detected the interminable volume of energy from his eternal dragon blood was also interacting with and steadily fueling the stockpiling power of his vampire blood.

As a vampire, he could accumulate power both actively and passively. His active form was always fueled by taking blood from others. The more powerful the individual, the higher power he would gain. The passive ability allowed for him to grow stronger the greater he aged, but now he is also passively stockpiling power by absorbing the energy from his eternal dragon blood.

'Isn't this too much?' Ryosuke thought, as he never would have guessed that his two bloodlines would collaborate in such a tyrannical way.

'Alright, let's investigate this location first and then study my abilities in more detail later.' Ryosuke decided as he made his way out of the crater.
