54 Killing a python

"What?!" The two women were shocked, especially Ranran, after all, Lin Yue was only a level three master cultivator before the battle broke out, but now within five days, she jumped into level six master!

"How do you do it?" Her mother asked, and Lin Yue started explaining about Blood Cleansing Pill.

By the time she finished are explanation, both her mother and Ranran felt their worldview was instantly broadened.

"Forty s–six Pills?" Ranran was shocked. Her young miss talent is simply amazing, this kind of thing was rare where they come from, and only a few people could achieve this, doesn't that means that her young miss talent wasn't lacking at all and even matched up to them?

No one can be happier than Ranran in this case, the feeling was as if she was the one that birthed Lin Yue.

"What do you plan on doing now?" Her mother asked.

Lin Yue thought for a moment before replying. "I want to focus on increasing my battle strength for now."

And true to this sentence of hers, she started training harder, she didn't want her level to be there for just a show, she wants quality over quantity.

.....

Months passed, and the death of the last family members of the Lin family–Xie Mingzhu and her daughter was confirmed.

No being with scent can hide from hunter jade, even the emperor believed that the two have left the world.

Even though he felt that it was regrettable that the sword he craved for for a long time didn't get into his hand, as long as it is not in other people's hands, he was relieved. And though he believe this, it didn't stop him from sending out cultivators to search for the whereabouts of the sword.

Apart from that, mentioning a name related to the Lin was punishable by death! Even though the people didn't like this rule, they could only obey.

In these few months, Lin Yue's growth could be said to be tremendous, she became a level one grandmaster on the day she clocked a year.

She has also grown up, and she looked like a teenager at this moment, her beauty emerged, a cold beauty with a suffocating noble aura.

Her long silver hair glided softly through her back, almost reaching her waist, and her gorgeous red lips were always curled up whenever she was talking to her mother and Ranran.

And not only that, but she has also become a level two alchemist master.

It could be said that in the past four months, she was very hardworking and since there was delicious and healthy food to eat, she always eat in her room, and to her, going out was a complete waste of time.

However, she made an outrageous request, and that is to go to the outside world. Well, outside the realm to the inside of the forest to be correct, fighting and practicing alone has become genuinely boring to her, and thus, she made this decision after thinking about it very well.

Her mother didn't want her to and only accept after much persuasion and with the fact that she wasn't allowed to spend more than three hours outside.

Lin Yue set out with Ranran, looking at the trees whose leaves were about to blossom, she realized that even though the realm was no different from the real world, she still miss the outside world.

"Let's go to the inner part of the forest, there are mid-level beasts there."

"What about high-level beasts?" Lin Yue asked softly.

Ranran giggles softly. "Young Miss, those high-level beasts can only be found in the other three countries, and they were rare there except for the king country so they likely didn't exist here, and the mid-level beasts we are searching for are also rare here."

Lin Yue nodded, showing that she understand. Suddenly, she remember one of the popular themes in wuxia novels, and she wonder if the skill really did exist in this place, her eyes flashed and she asked. "Big sister Ranran, do you know a skill called beast taming."

Ranran froze slightly before she turned to the smiling teenager.

"Wh–where do you hear that from, Young Miss?"

Throwing her sleeve back and crossing her hand behind her back, Lin Yue continues walking forward.

"I saw it in master's dairy so I couldn't help but ask" Ranran heaved a sigh of relief and Lin Yue turned around with a smile. "So big sister Ranran, have you heard of it?"

Ranran shook her head. "Yes, but I didn't know the skill. I heard that it required a large amount of mental power to tame the animals, thus it is very uncommon."

Lin Yue nodded and didn't ask any questions anymore, but from the corner of her eyes, she could feel Ranran heave a sigh of relief.

Even though she didn't show it on her face, Lin Yue was starting to feel suspicious. Not only on Ranran but also on her mother.

She remembers that one night, she accidentally slept off on the tree branches, and at midnight when she woke up, she decided to return to her room and upon passing by her mother's room, she heard her mother and Ranran's voice.

Ranran's voice was filled with plead as she talked.

"Master, you should stop doing this."

Her mother's voice at that moment was low but sharp.

"Keep down your voice."

"But Master... there are many other solutions than this one...".

That's the only thing Lin Yue heard and she was utterly confused, she couldn't understand them at all, she could only suspect that it was related to cultivation but she didn't notice anything strange in her mother's cultivation.

"Young Miss, that's a middle-level python, you should battle it." Lin Yue was forced out of her thoughts by Ranran's voice.

She look at where Ranran was pointing too and on one of the tree branches was a 3m long python, its eyes were dull as it look at them and it is pure animal instinct, hunger comes first.

"Thunder chain." Lin Yue extended her second and middle finger forward, and purple spiritual Qi in a straight line went for the python.

The python hissed and slipped to the side, Lin Yue's chain missed.

It wriggled his neck as he angrily spat out a brown sticky liquid in return.

"Xuanyuan" Lin Yue threw out her sword in the snake's direction and time seems to pause.

The sword pierced through the liquid coming for her in the air and sliced it into two and they fell to the side, then the sword went straight to the python, piercing exactly into his neck.

The snake struggled for a moment before it open its mouth and went limp.

"...Wow, Young miss, that's amazing," Ranran exclaimed.

"The python is only a level one grandmaster and it is easy peasy to kill it thanks to Xuanyuan." Lin Yue explained, walking to where the snake was.

A blue dagger find its way to her fair palm as she stabbed at the python's head, and took out its beast core.

She turned around and flashed Ranran a smile.

"Our first bonus, let's go." Then the beast core disappeared from her hand in a flash, entering into her storage ring.
