Chapter 82: Don't bring humans here?!

The suited men couldn't speak. The Limo drove them swiftly to the city called Ozra to a place called the Wolfsden.

The journey was quiet as the suited men didn't dare say anything after that menacing look from Alpha Azrael. His eyes were like a penetrating fully loaded Ak-47 rifle which appeared tailored on them.

They couldn't talk or even smile. They both just looked at each other and decided not to say anything else.

After 2 hours drive, the Limos finally arrived at the huge area known as the Wolfsden. April Herrington sat by his side, teasing him consistently, unaware of the rumors these drivers were discussing about, which consisted majorly of the Alpha's alleged involvement with her.

Alpha Azrael alighted to a rapturous reception. His people were chanting and shouting his name just as other packs were doing for their Alphas.

Alpha Azrael was cool about it all. He got down like an emperor and claps, whistling, and shouts followed.

In no time, his entourage was already around him, giving him a reasonable enough space to move but at the same time staging close enough to follow.

He walked like he commanded the entire Wolfsden to do his bidding.

There were reporters running Helter skelter to do interviews.

Alpha Azrael was ushered into a gigantic hall filled with werewolves of all kinds and skin colors. Most of them were walking around in their werewolf forms.

It was a place they were free to express themselves.

All of a sudden, one of the guards noticed that April was human, and he barred his teeth ready to pounce on her and tear her pieces.

"Humans....." He noticed that more members of Alpha Azrael's entourage were humans and they were walking freely.

They all started getting hostile and exuding auras of a dog about pounce on an intruder.

Alpha Azrael raised his hands to stop the attacking guards.

"If even the slightest hair on their heads is out of place then you will know the reason why they call me Alpha..." Alpha Azrael's voice resonated throughout the entire building.

No one dared move. Everyone stood back like they had encountered a more ferocious beast than themselves one that they seemed to dread.

At this time beta Londan appeared beside Alpha Azrael. He had foreseen this situation and warned the Alpha previously about it but the latter just wouldn't listen to him.

The wolfsden is a place forbidden for all humans, any human who manages to get in would be killed or worse used as a slave. Londan knew how strict the rules were and had tried to warn the Alpha, but the latter had no intention of following the rules.

"Stand down Crow, this is my Alpha... and the humans are transformees..." Beta Londan explained to the leading guard who bared his teeth to attack, he was making an attempt to resolve the situation.

Transformees were humans about to undergo a mixed blood system where their human DNA would combine with that of a werewolf and they then transform to become a half-human, half-wolf hybrid.

These types of hybrid cannot transform fully into wolves like the way those werewolves who got theirs by birth can.

Azrael, for instance, wasn't bitten but was born with a werewolf curse only triggered by murder, hence he could become a full wolf when his powers mature enough, but if a human like April on the other hand were to be bitten, the highest she could be would be a hybrid or a transformee.

The werewolf named Crow looked at Alpha Azrael and then at the humans.

He still felt very uncomfortable having humans around, but he trusted Londan. Londan Grey has always been part of the ranking system and a true ally of the Elders, He is the one who most times represents Alpha James when he was still alive and has developed a bond with most of the popular werewolves here, so on the basis of his name and the trust they had for Beta Londan, the guards backed away and desisted from attacking.

Alpha Azrael on the other hand was still in high Alert mode.

His eyes were scanning everywhere to be sure there wasn't an abrupt threat. After scanning for a while, he relaxed, retracted his fangs and claws, and transformed back to his human form.

His clothes were torn but he gave no care for those inconveniences and walked out of the hall with his entourage following him like sheep to shepherd.

The hall they left behind was still silent. No one moved or talked. They just watched Alpha Azrael walk out.

"He is more gutsy than I thought..." Crow suddenly let out, and as if on cue, all the activities resumed and an uproar started as murmuring and loud discussions followed.

Beta Londan was still in the hall watching the Alpha leave.

Beta Londan turned to Crow, "don't forget our arrangement, I've brought him to you, so it's up to you guys to do as promised..." Londan whispered to Crow.

"Relax Londan, we've been friends for how long now? Two centuries or is it three? As long as you do your part well, you will be the Alpha in no time... however, you haven't done a part of our deal, I told you I want the Kannais, why isn't she here?" Crow asked.

"If I should push for her to come, it would give me away, I had to let that go for now Crow, otherwise, I would be exposing myself to a world of uncertainties that I am not ready to deal with right now" Londan whispered.

Crow smiled, he reached into a bag he was carrying and brought out a syringe filled with a clear liquid. He handed over the syringe to Londan.

"This contains that stuff, put it in the food or drink of your Alpha, and you will have done 50% of the work..." Crow explained.

Londan collected it and kept it in his bag, he then brought out some bundles of cash and handed it over to Crow who collected it and licked his lips.

"Nice doing business with you..." Crow reached out with a handshake which Londan collected and they both went their separate ways.
