Nem deftly cut vegetables on a wooden slab, on his kitchen table, while a pest attached itself to his back, the pest's chin laid heavily on his neck, and his hands wrapped tightly around his waist.

The posture was a bit difficult for Nem, as he could not easily maneuver his body, to be more flexible in his cooking motions.

But the pest was not entirely useless, as he stretched forth his hand from time to time, and brought needed ingredients close to Nem.

The pest was none other than King Dan, the ruler of the Tull Kingdom, and the Grand Commander of all its military forces.

King Dan was in Nem's mansion, in the company of his First Grand General, and Minister of War, Lord Rein.

While he pestered Nem in the kitchen, Lord General Rein was displaying sword moves to their children, in the center of the beautiful compound, with a few servants and soldiers watching.
