After a week of incarceration, Third Prince Dan and Lord Rein were brought out of their respective cells in the Palace prison, and dealt appropriate punishments.

Third Prince Dan was whipped a hundred times with Mercy, a very vicious whip.

Mercy was the name given to a bundle of leather whips, which were specially crafted to be used on serious offenders of the Tull Kingdom.

The leather whips were made from the back and skin of alligators, and tempered with cold, magical fire.

To add finnese to the bunch, the leather whips had numerous tiny blades fitted into their lengths.

Being whipped with such a malicious thing, made one wish to die quickly.

Not only were the leather whips very strong and rubbery, they tore open the flesh of their victims, making blood flow ceaselessly.

And when they slashed and dragged across the skin, the cold magical fire which they were tempered with, added more agony to whatever pain their victims were already going through.
