1 Rebirth

"Damn I hope the live action can top the animated series" john said as he finished watching the last season of the legend of korra, he had been rewatching the Avatar series in preparation for the new live action series that is coming out a week from now.

John was an average man living in the state of Texas he charged his way through Primary School and got dead end job because he could not stand going to college, so now he's just a regular office worker trudging through the days with anime, fanfics, and alcohol.

John was interrupted from his Daydreams of the new Avatar series by a loud sound of thunder

"What the hell was that!?" John said as he looked out his window, and what he saw shocked him

A large tornado was tearing tearing through the town and moving toward his apartment at fast speed

John seeing the size of the tornado and the speed in which it was moving just stood there and stared at it "well shit" he cursed as the tornado finally tore through his apartmant and succked what remained in to its center

After a few moments john opened his eyes and saw him self floating in the tornado while slowly orbiting around the center

"Holy shit this is actually breathtaking" john said as he floated there watching the other objects, people, and animals floating around with him

He felt slightly sick to his stomach as he saw some people and animals impaled with wood or metal objects while others who were still alive screamed uncontrollably until they were hit by somthing killing them almost instantly.

"Neverming this is actually horrible" he said as he girmaced at a man being turned to paste as a part of a building slamed into him at break neck speeds.

"Well I can't move so may as well enjoy the view before I die" john said as he barely was able to turn his body to face upwards and looked up at the clouds in the skies he floated aimlessly

"I've never felt so free..." John asid as he closed his eyes and imbraced the feeling of weightlessness, as he floated there he felt a heat rise up in his stomach at first he was scared of it but after a while he then just embraced this new feeling as well and just floated

After a while he heard the sound of an engine coming towards him he opens his eyes only to see a truck coming towards him at fast speeds.

"Well where ever I end up next I hope it will be fun at least" John says he turned his gaze back towards the clouds as he braces for impact

The truck hits him and breaks every bone in his body all at once.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" he screamed at the top of his lungs, he passed out momentarily but was awoken by the pain.

As he was screaming he looked back up towards the sky and saw a blue glow that looked almost transparent, with his waining strength he lifted what was left of his arm towards the ball of light as his vision faded

When the ball touched his arm the warm feeling he felt before bubbled up to the surface and a giant gust of air shot out of his body and completly dispelled the giant tornado, john had already died before the rest of his body hit the ground and the tornado that destroied half of Texas and appeared out of no where was labeled the 8th wonder of the world and the gust of wind that blew it away and blew across the whole world was the 9th.

----- A random orphanage in republic city year 159

A boy of 6 years old wrapped up with bandages startles awake in a bed in the middle of the night

"Ahhhhhhhhhh! Where am I?" John asks looking at his surroundings

"Im in a blank room that reeks of medicine, did I actullay survive that truck?" John thought as he tried to sit up but his body aches in pain so he lays back down

As John was laying in bed he suddenly gets a headache as memories from the previous soul inhabiting this body is played out like a movie.

"So his name was jon huh? What a coincidence, he was also an orphan who was bullied by the other kids here due to being the top student in their classes but since he's not a bender he is viewed as a punching bag and gets beaten up constantly by the kids with bending" jon mused as he looked a the bandages on his arms.

"Oh great i get transmigrated in to a world of crazy benders with no bending, I want a redo" jon mumbled to himself as he sighed at his fate.

Jon wasn't to sad about dying and leaving his old life behind, his parents were low mid class workers sowhen they died in a car crash he didnt get a huge inheritance it was just enough for two years of rent at his apartment, he was also a only child so he had no attachments to his previous world.

Nor did he feel guilt for "stealing" this kids body, he didn't ask to be here and he won't try to find out who sent him here,if there's one thing his parents taught him it's to never pass up on a chance to better yourself, he has a second chance at life and he's gonna make the most of it.

"Sucks I have no bending tho... Wait I remember i had a warm feeling in my gut when I was in the tornado on my way to oz"

Jon laid back on the bed and closed his eyes concentrating on his belly searching for that warm feeling in his gut, he wasn't sure what it was but he knew it was somthing different, after a while he felt the warm feeling coming to life in his stomach

He continued to let the warm feeling course throughout his body as the warm feeling continue to nurture him he even felt his injuries healing faster, after a while his body felt that there's something was about to burst out so he continued.

After another 3 minutes when the warm feeling felt overflowing he released it and a strong gust of wind blew out of his body and ransacked the room he was in.

"Holy shit was that what I think it is" he said as he lifted his palm, a small tornado of wind span around on his palm

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

"Holy shit I'm an airbender lets fucking goooooooooo" jon said in excitement

In jon's opinion airbending was the strongest form of bending flight, temperature regulation, and there's even rumor of Sonic bending not to mention air is almost completely transparent when you bend it which is perfect for sneak attacks and ambushes

Not to mention wind could blow away the other elements causing disruptions in other benders formations and stances as well suffocation bubbles.

The air nomads truly didn't do airbending justice thats for sure.

"Speaking of the air nomads will I be forced to join tenzin?" Jon frowned as he thought of this

Jon lived in Republic city and rumors tend to run wild in small towns let alone a big city especially since the radio has long been invented and the rumor of an airbender being born not related to the avatar would surely catch the ear of radio hosts trying to get the latest scoop for interesting and profitable stories which in turn would bring annoyances to his door step.

"Eh who gives a shit even if rumors spread tenzin doesn't seem like the type of guy to jump at every airbender rumor, hell he didn't even believe his own brother was a airbender until bumi stopped a plate that was about to give him a concussion"

As jon was still in his thoughts a women with dressed in a nun's outfit came in after the loud noise was heard

"Jon is every thing ok-" the nun whose name happened to be sister lily froze as she saw the state the medical room was in

"Jon" sister lily said with a calm tone and closed eyes but her aura was very dark

"Uhh hey sister I can explain" jon said with nervousness as sweat rolled down his forehead.

"Sigh, we'll talk in the morning its still pretty late just go back to sleep" sister lily said as she left the room to go to bed.

"Well its better to think about these things in the morning, my new life will be better than the last thats for sure" jon said with a smile as he closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.
