Sect Admission Tests!

Big sister Ri turned around and faced Drog. "We still have some time before the sect admission tests begin. Let's go get something to eat."

Drog nodded his head in agreement. "Okay, big sister Ri."

Drog and big sister Ri entered the town through the gate at which stood two middle-aged guards. The two guards looked at big sister's Ri's chest and buttocks from the moment they saw her, until the moment they couldn't see her anymore.

Walking down the town's street, Drog saw countless people out of whom 80% were children. He guessed that the children were in this town solely because of the sect admission tests.

They walked into a meat bun shop and sat down at one of the unoccupied tables. The waitress who came up to their table shortly after was around fourteen years old. She wore a bright smile on her young and cute face. "What would you like?"

"Two meat buns and two green teas," big sister Ri said.

The waitress politely bowed her head. "I will come back shortly." She walked away.

"Drog, I will run you through the tests that you will have to pass to enter the sect."

"I am listening, big sister Ri."

"Mhm," big sister Ri said as she nodded her head. "The first test is the physique test. It is the test to find those with special physiques."

Drog slightly narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean by special physiques?"

"There are many different special physiques someone can be born with. For example those born with strength special physique are physically stronger than someone born without a strength special physique. But don't worry, even if you don't have a special physique, you will still pass this test."

"So what's even the point of this test, if you pass regardless of whether you have the special physique or not?"

"Those with special physiques are admitted into the sect without having a need to pass the other two tests."

Drog nodded his head in understanding. "What's the second test?"

"The second test is the will test. One of the sect's elders will release some of his cultivation base on you and the other testees. To pass this test, you will have to hold out until half of the testees have fallen to their knees."

"And the final test?"

"The final test is the martial talent test. Martial talent ranges from F-rank to A-rank, and to pass, your martial talent has to be of at least E-rank."

"What is the difference between F-rank martial talent and A-rank martial talent?"

"Martial talent determines just how much Qi can someone use from a single strand of world energy. Someone with F-rank martial talent can only use 1% of the Qi from a single strand of world energy. While someone with A-rank martial talent can use 70% Qi from that same strand of world energy."

Their waitress came to their table and placed the tea and buns on the table. "Please enjoy." She walked away.

"Time for talk has passed. Let's eat," big sister Ri said.

"Okay, big sister Ri." Drog ate his meat bun and drank his tea; big sister Ri did the same. After finishing their meal, they got up and left. They arrived in a large courtyard in which there were some buildings in the back and a platform in the centre. The platform was surrounded by a thick sea of people.

"From here on our, you are on your own Drog. Good luck."

"Thank you. See you later, big sister Ri," Drog said and went into the thick sea of people.

After some time has passed, an old man appeared on the platform. "Welcome to the admission tests of the Sword sect! We will now begin! Those who wish to enter the sect, go into the building directly behind me," he said in a voice that all could clearly hear.

The children one-by-one started entering the building. However before Drog could enter, he had to wait for the entire three hours. He found himself in a spacious room in which there was only one other person beside him. It was an old man with a long white beard. "Your name?" the old man said.

Drog approached him. "My name is Drog."

"Punch for me, Drog!"

Drog threw a punch.

"Kick for me!"

Drog performed a kick.

"Run a few laps!"

Drog ran a few laps around the edges of the room.

"No special physique, you may go through the door into the next room."

"Yes, elder." Drog walked through the door. He found himself in another spacious room. This room unlike the room from before was full of children; there was not a single adult. The children were standing in groups. They were talking, shouting and giggling.

"According to big sister Ri, the second test is the test in which half of all the testees will be eliminated. I will have to wait until everyone who is taking the sect admission tests is finished with the first test," Drog thought. He walked to the edge of the room and started to close his eyes, but before he could fully close them, he spotted a particular group of children which made him completely open his eyes and look at them. They were Go, Ro and No, and they were responsible for killing the previous Drog. Go and Ro were both six years old while No was the youngest of the group and was the same age as Drog. They all were thin, had short black hair and wore the same rags as Drog. After looking at them for a brief moment, Drog closed his eyes.

Four more hours passed and the door opened. Drog opened his eyes and the elder from the first test entered the room. He looked over all the children. "The second test will now begin. Currently there are slightly over two hundred of you in this room. Let's fix that!" Suddenly more than fifty children collapsed on the ground, unconscious and each quarter of the second that passed even more continued to fall.

Drog slightly tilted his head to the right in confusion. "Is the elder doing something? I don't feel anything at all," by the time this thought finished, more than a hundred children were laying on the ground.

"The second test is now concluded. The third and the last test will be held outside and it will be witnessed by all who come to watch. Now go outside and line up to the platform," the elder said.

The children began leaving the building. When Drog walked outside, he was greeted by the voices of many and saw an even thicker sea of people than before. Amongst this thick sea of people, there was also big sister Ri, who was not only anticipating Drog's martial talent but also Go, Ro and No's martial talents.

"Martial talent examination will now begin!" the elder who stood at the top of the platform said in a voice that all could clearly hear.

Everyone in the courtyard got louder than before.

A boy came up to the elder.

"What is your name?" the elder said.

The boy said something but only the elder heard him.

The elder pulled out a stone from his robe.

"Arol, place your hand on the testing stone."

Everyone in the courtyard quieted down. They all watched Arol as he put his hand on the stone. Then, they waited for the elder's verdict.

"E-rank martial talent! Pass!"

The courtyard once again became loud and the third test continued. Amongst the following testees there were Go, Ro and No. Like Arol they had E-rank martial talent and they all passed and entered the sword sect.

Drog stopped in front of the elder.

"What is your name?"

"My name is Drog, elder."

"Drog, place your hand on the testing stone."
