That was the only thing Alex felt. There was an abnormal throbbing in his head and he felt like his body was thrown inside a meat grinder.
Ugh... Alex attempted to sit-up and look around, but he was unable to do so. He couldn't even feel his fingers and toes.
From the looks of it, I'm dreaming. But what kind of dream is this? I can't even see or hear anything, just this damn pain . I feel like am being torn apart.
Alex tried to focus his thoughts so as to leave this weird dream, but no matter what he tried he couldn't seem to wake up. And the excruciating pain did not help in his attempts to focus.

Alex promised himself for the umpteenth time. After what seemed like hours, he could finally somewhat feel his fingers, then gradually his toes and then little by little the rest of his body until he opened his eyes.

After Alex finally managed to open his eyes, the first thing he noticed was that he wasn't in his room. He was in an empty room that was looking disturbingly similar to a Classroom to him. There were desks, tables and a small podium at the far end of the room.
This...Could I still be at the club?...No, that's not right. There's no way this is a club.
Alex hurriedly contradicted the thought which he himself felt was stupid. He might not be smart, but he was definitely not stupid.
Or did this bunch of motherfuckers dump him in a classroom despite their earlier promise to carry him home if he fainted...

All of a sudden, strange memories flooded into his brain just as he stood up causing him to plop on the floor. He felt as if his brain was melting and he gritted his teeth to bear with the overwhelming pain.
Alex was dumbfounded when he finished assimilating the new memories that he even forgot the pain. You couldn't blame him as the information contained in the new memories was nothing short of shocking.

Suddenly the system started looking more handsome to Alex. He did not know exactly what the items were used for, but he was sure he could guess from their names. After all...he wasn't stupid.
Checking the description of the gifts, he was stunned. What the fuck is this?
Beginner body strengthening pill: Once taken, Pill will actively strengthen hosts bones and muscles.
[Note- It stings a little and it doesn't make you superman so don't try punching any mountains.]
Beginner mana gathering pill: Upon usage, pill will automatically start gathering Mana around the users body.
[Note- You are basically taking all the Mana in the surrounding so make sure not to use in a place with much people, or you might get cursed to death.]
Small blank card: A special card that can be used in special situations

(Advanced) skill upgrade card: Upgrade one skill to perfect.
[Note. I'm worried that left on your own, two lifetimes will not be enough for you to upgrade one skill to perfect.]
Resurrection coin: Automatically activated upon death. Host will be resurrected with perfect health and will gain an invincibility buff for a short while.

For a full minute after reading this, Alex was silent. He wasn't sure whether to curse at the system for all those bad-mouth{1} notes or to thank it for the gifts.
He was feeling very conflicted.
'Whatever, I'll let it slide this time' He determined after thinking it through. He wouldn't want to take back those sweet gifts.
Alex felt he was going crazy after reading the information on those gift bundles.
The body strengthening and Mana gathering alone we're something amazing because it set him on the path to be both a Magic user and a physical ability master.
All though he couldn't understand what exactly the small blank card was for, he knew it was definitely something special.
To Alex, the skill upgrade card was only slightly lower in value compared to the Resurrection coin.
In this world, skills were divided into four levels: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and perfect.
It was fairly easy to reach the beginner level. All you needed was to learn the tutorials and a little bit of hard work.
To reach the Intermediate level, the difficulty triples.
To reach the Advanced level tremendous talent and hardwork is required.
As for the perfect level, Only the Grandmasters could reach it after perhaps decades of training.
The Resurrection coin was now Alex's most valued possession. After all it was a second life not to talk about the invincibility buff.
He almost could not resist the temptation to stab a sword in himself to test the Resurrection coin.

Alex calmed himself down. He needed to find out more about the system itself.

"Wait, Isn't thrill seeker your name? Why would you say you have no name" Alex asked confused.
'And you denied being stupid' The system rolled it's imaginary eyes, not that it had eyes to begin with.

It could be an illusion or something but Alex thought that the system's voice sounded a little bit... different.

The system spoke with a hint of pride and excitement as it was waiting for Alex's joyous scream when he realizes that the thrill seeker system is created to save him the trouble of working.
