The Origin of Reality

Absolute darkness pervaded the atmosphere. Purple vines were tangled with every object in sight, making an acute crunching sound as Number Two stepped upon them. In a while, he arrived at a mountainous temples' main worship hall and found a yellow figure muttering indiscernible sentences. It was the Monk who started it all with his heretical writings.

"Come in", a raspy voice croaked.

Number Two walked in a cautious fashion as he observed the surroundings.

The Monk turned away from the statue and stared at him, powerlessly saying, "Welcome to the Deep, where all beings retire from the heavy burden of reality."

Number Two hurriedly asserted, "I seek knowledge for only through it can I conquer the mystery of my purpose, the uncertain condition of humanity's fate, and defeat Mother Sky who has ruled for too long and injudiciously. I have but a single question which I plead for your attentive teachings. How was the world created?"

"Ha! Great posing of a forbidden question. Don't worry about Mother Sky here because she cannot reach the deep", exclaimed the Monk.

He continued to remark, "Let me tell you a story which will illuminate your mind like rays piercing the fearsome clouds of ignorance. Once, two monarchs lorded over the Tamkit. What is the Tamkit? It is the simplest essence from which all life derives its habitation: the lands, the void, and the seas all combined into one artifact beyond our comprehension. It is the largest, smallest, best, worst, weakest, and strongest object which has the ability to destroy nothingness with negative-one fluctuations.

You must comprehend that our minds reach a line from which comprehension is forcibly stopped. What is the use of knowledge if there is no purpose? Therefore, although all tangible things are connected to infinity, there exists a divine manifestation that is disconnected: knowledge.

When Mother Sky selfishly imprisoned Father Earth and transformed the Tamkit into what you mortals know as the reality of the world, she made a grave mistake. Two rulers are required to unleash the full power of the Tamkit. Thus, the reality she created or became is incomplete.

When the Tamkit changed, half of the artifact called Knowledge was separated from the rest. This led to the accidental creation of the Deep.

No world has its originator. Mother Sky stole and claimed the other half of the Tamkit as her own, becoming reality itself with the ulterior motive of gaining more power. We used to be able to cultivate in the lands and seas so we could reach the all-powerful resonating synchronous realm of the void.

You must stop her from succeeding!"

Number Two gave a long sigh and stared into the void.

He said, "Sometimes I wish I had no knowledge. I have toiled for decades to reach this point, place, and time. Yet, I stand where it began. My bones are cold and thin, my garments discolored and dreary."

Number Two desired rest, to be able to take a long, fulfilling sleep. Unfortunately, this was not a potential avenue of action.

The Monk solemnly commanded, "You must find the fragment of the Tamkit and defeat reality. I shall point you toward the center of the Deep, you must take advantage of your mortal attribute and remember that everything you meet and experience has roots in ghostly manipulations."

As he waved his hands and cast a spell, Number Two resisted and smacked the Monk in the face. A face mask flew off and crashed into the walls as the true visage of the individual was gruesomely revealed.

It was a deer of the most divine white fur and deepest eyes which resembled the Sun and Moon and emitted dirty holy light.

Praise Mother Sky for her infinite benevolent malevolence!
