Adrian woke up, but as he was still in his demi-human form, he felt sluggish. "Ugh...the bed feels so comfortable I don't want to leave it..." He complained.
Spending a few minutes trying to wake himself up, he did his normal routine before going to the adventurers guild and arriving at the arena. He saw Alice there already done some stretches and practice swings to warm up, so he quickly did the same.
After about 5 minutes of warming up, Andrew came into the arena, with everyone in the spectator's seat grabbing their food, ready to watch the fights that were going to happen.
"Alright, Alice you're first! Adrian, you'll observe and see how things will go alright?" Andrew asked.
"Got it, Mr. Andrew." Adrian replied, going off the platform.
"Alright then Alice, begin anytime." Andrew said as he drew his dagger out.
Alice dashed towards Andrew and appeared behind him in an instant and drew her sword, doing a horizontal slash. Andrew reacted and jumped into the air before throwing his daggers towards Alice, which she blocked.
Then an arrow went behind her, but she realized too late, putting a thin gash all over her arm but countered quickly, throwing a wind slash to get some distance before she used [Boost] on herself.
Going for a few minutes were clashing happening in the entire arena, Alice started moving a bit slower due to her still somewhat lacking stamina, she was quickly defeated by Andrew with two daggers on her neck while she was on the ground.
Adrian analyzed a bit more of Andrew move, then came up the arena. He immediately drew his swords, staring at Andrew with his magic pressure, making him a bit uncomfortable.
Andrew released his full power and instant appeared in front of Adrian, but Adrian dodged before Andrew realized it, but also stepped back knowing he was here to gain experience on his technique, not to beat someone.
Andrew got a bit annoyed, knowing that Adrian just spared him, but understood why, so he began to unleash more of his techniques on Adrian. Because of the complex movements, he was making, Adrian was experiencing and comprehending at a fast pace, too bad his body stumbled and fell onto the ground.
Andrew took this chance to launch a rush, however, Adrian bent in an unnatural and maybe even painful way, making all the men who saw what he did cover their crouch and hiss a bit, imagining what Adrian is experiencing.
Too bad Adrian didn't manifest 'it' so he kicked Andrew away and flipped himself back upright. He then picked up his swords on the ground and began clashing with Andrew using only a portion of his strength, yet it was still fun for him throughout the fight.
Adrian also began to feel the changes he made in his stance, his reaction time slightly faster, and the overall flow of techniques are all starting to link together.
'So this is how it feels...' Adrian thought as even his thought process became faster and his fighting prowess faster and stronger as well.
Adrian and Andrew began to clash again, with Adrian constantly improving his positions during the battle, Andrew has nothing to say so he just started to focus more on the battle.
Going on for a stalemate in techniques for about 10 minutes without a clear winner, Adrian starts to increase his power output a bit, slowly overwhelming Andrew again, making everyone in the arena surprised again since their department head had been training and improving more ever since his first defeat.
After two minutes, Andrew was blown away by one of Adrian's
"H-haha! That was a great fight, Adi!" Andrew shouted across the arena as he slowly got back up.
"Thank you for the experience, Mr. Andrew." Adrian replied, though inside he was still embarrassed with the fact that his nickname was Adi.
"Hahahaha! Don't worry, Alice, Adrian, just call me brother from now on alright? We're close enough for that now!" Andrew said, smiling towards Alice.
"Alright then, brother Andrew." Alice & Adrian replied at the same time.
They took turns training with Andrew, taking up around 4 hours before they decided to call it a day. The three were sweating, so they all went to their places to wash up.

"Adrian's getting much stronger now...I need to keep up the pace." Alice replied as she went to her room and began to practice her skills as well.
Over the days, she was practicing all of her skills to the maximum so she decided to take another look at her status.

Looking at one of the skills she knows she'll need to control is [Killing Intent], since being able to control and sense it is very important in a world of magic. She began to release her [Killing Intent] and retract it as quickly and efficiently as she could.
Working on this for a few hours, she tried to manipulate the area of her [Killing Intent] so it would affect less innocent people in case something happens in Feldheim. With controlling the size of her [Killing Intent], she also had to understand the density of her [Killing Intent] that also gets compressed.
Although she failed man times, she didn't give up until it was extremely late at night, and like Adrian, she also had a daily report of her status.

"Huh...seems like she was able to get a daily quest huh," Adrian said as he looked at her quests.
'Maybe I should also try and find my resolve to create a quest...Meh, I'm already on one right now so let's focus on that one.' Adrian thought.
Adrian began to start his magic core training again. He slowly and carefully inserted his mana into the core, making it beat like a heart. Adrian began putting a bit more magic until the core started to fully beat like a heart, absorbing the surrounding mana and releasing it in a purified way.
"I-I've succeeded!" Adrian exclaimed as he immediately tried to relish the feeling again.
Adrian practiced and memorized the feeling in around 30 minutes, before putting it in his inventory for further use for the next few days of hunting. Adrian went back to bed and looked at what had happened today.
