Legend Of A Sword

Look, we're gonna skip most of the before reincarnation stuff alright? Adrian, the Mc gets reincarnated into 'The World' or Solsticia, and goes on an adventure. He becomes a host for the system, meets new people, and although slowly, will become a legend throughout the planes. Please note that the synopsis is not the full story. Please actually read first before rating this story...Thank you! *** Also I'm using this as a mere practice novel right now to improve on some of my skills. There will be grammar errors, plotholes, and details that I will be missing. This novel will have a crap ton of plotholes. This novel will be used for a decent amount of time before I drop it unless you all think it becomes good enough for me to keep going.

Looking at his stats, Adrian nodded before adding a few more points into dexterity, successfully controlling his powered up body instantly this time. Drawing his slowly leaking mana back in, he felt more refreshed and could feel as if another small barrier broke within him, making him grow stronger.

Before he could examine any further, he noticed that there was just him, Alice, Bryan, and Anemone, who was blushing.

'When, what, where, why, how...did she develop a crush on me!?' Adrian assumed an indifferent face while yelling at himself inside.

"Alright students! Today, we'll be attempting to learn how to compress mana!" Mr. Walas started drawing on the blackboard.

"As you've fought with your instructors, some of them may have used a stronger version of the spells you have. These spells are actually quite commonly sued for those skills enough as whoever has the more compressed and controlled mana usually wins the clash of magic." he explained.

"To compress spells, you have to first have your element out, then literally compress it, usually by memory. You will need to keep pouring in large amounts of mana to keep the same shape and size while compressing the overall effects, so when fired, it will have the same shape and size, but the effects of hitting the enemy will be multiplied!" he added.

"Instead of giving you all the full and detailed answer, please try to compress your spells however you can!" he smiled lightly.

'I'm known as a prodigy in the castle! I'll definitely impress Adrian!' Anemone clenched her fist.

Anemone started pouring mana into her arm, releasing small bits of water before they froze. She then began to add more water, making the icicle bigger while also trying to compress it, but due to her lack of control, it instead burst.

Covering her eyes, waiting for something cold to touch her, she felt...strangely warm. Opening her eyes, she saw Adrian writing something down on the desk, but there was a lit-up finger he was holding, stopping the icicle from bursting.

'Shit! I forgot about my {Magic Core Creation} skill! Ugh...I lost so many credits from that...' Adrian mumbled before looking up to see Anemone's blushing face looking up at him.

'Oh no...did I do something just now?...Hah...whatever...' Adrian heard his name being called so he began.

Thinking about the feeling of flux, the mana around him were being compressed into a small ball of visible wind, compressing it easily while keeping the same size.

Seeing that Adrian did it successfully on the first try, Mr. Walas wasn't surprised anymore as he was considered a great genius in his eyes.

Before he could speak, he felt a different kind of pressure from the spell in Adrian's hand.

The ball of wind started to compress a bit more, becoming invisible, but everyone could sense it, the problem was that now the pressure was everywhere around them, and not being able to tell where a strong spell was would scare anybody.

Suddenly, it disappeared.

'Phew...' everyone sighed.

"Adrian, you pass this class, if there is something you wish to ask of me, you are free to go." Mr. Walas had a soft smile on his face.

Walking up to him, Adrian whispers to his ears about spell books and such.

"Mn...due to your 'agreement' I technically should give it to you, so take it." Mr. Walas gave Adrian a stack of books about the rarer element, light, and shadow.

"Thank you! I'll be in the school shop if you need me!" Adrian ran off to the shop.

Running off to the school shop, he went back to the monster/beast section and start mass-selling his loot. Before he sold them, Adrian was able to copy all the materials he had by using magic. Now, if he had to get those materials back, he could use magic/flux to make an even higher quality version of it, making it worthless.

Selling the rest of the items he didn't need, he got 650,000 credits, at which more than 30% of it was due to the manticore material. Looking around the core section, he saw that the beast cores were all priced at 100 due to their low quality.

As there wasn't that much in stock, Adrian didn't want to take all of it, in case it would cause an uproar, so he took 3825 beast cores, costing him 382,500 credits and leaving him with 299,000 credits.

Adrian arrived at his dorm in around 3 minutes and started pulling out large amounts of beast cores. Because they were all low quality, using mana and flux to upgrade them was quite easy, quickly going over all of them within 10 minutes.

As there were around 30 minutes left, Adrian quickly started combining them, giving him a total of 17 high magic cores which he put a barrier and slowly absorbed all.

The powerup this time was enormous, Adrian's pain sensors were automatically still on, so he took on the brunt of the pain. Because it was so painful, his entire body cramped up, falling face-first onto the bed, yet he didn't feel the pain at all.

'Fuck! Is this what the people feel? Jesus!! I've been taking this as a game or some shit!' Adrian was shaking so much, it seemed like he had a seizure.

As his body was gradually getting used to the changes, Adrian still had his pain sensors on, and because he could now feel the pain, he cringed but fought through it as this would be important as he would be getting into closer fights like this and even flinching could kill him.

The changes in his body became a bit more apparent this time. He was slightly taller, around 6'1, his eyes no longer changing color and instead replaced with bright silver eyes. His hair and currently 3 tails are now black and silver-white. His body is more developed, making his features the same, but the natural aura he emitted was now on the level of being an international lady killer here.

Clenching his hands, Adrian's {Parallel Mind] used {Psychokinesis} to clean up the messed up room.

Alice walked into the dorm, seeing Adrian meditating, she pulled out her lunch and ate while reading some materials for the next class. Opening his eyes, Adrian saw Alice eating her lunch sandwich.

"Sorry about that Alice...I was getting used to my power ups..." he scratched his head, blushing in embarrassment.

'Mn? When the heck did he look, so...handsome?' She blushed slightly.

"It's alright. I'll catch up anyway."

Before they could say anything, a message appeared on their badge.

[Students Adrian & Alice. Please come to the vice headmaster's office! Students Adrian & Alice. Please come to the vice headmaster's office!]

"This is new? I didn't do anything..." 'Fuck! Is it the king? Does he want to know about us that badly!?' Adrian complained as he didn't want to get into any kind of politics.

"Guess we'll have to go, come on." Adrian dragged Adrian.

"Wait! Let me go!!! I can walk myself!" Adrian lightly pulled away, trying not to harm Alice.

"Fine. Let's hurry up then." Alice started running.

'Maybe...maybe I could buy some plot armor...maybe?' Adrian asked the system without any response.

They run to the portal that appeared, entering the vice headmaster's office.
