3 Cave - Group - Chapter 3

Alan walks in the forest, trying to find a water source and a place to hide.

He believes with his new body, he can take some punishment when it comes to the cold and environmental hazards.

"The important thing is, for the time being, finding a place to hide in the dark and finding a water source."

As Alan knew, food is not that important when compared to water and safety.

It is not something that can be compared.

As he walks, he feels the strong wind slowly but powerfully lingering on his face. There is something not right.

As he thinks about uneasiness in his mind and body, he feels he is being watched.

He takes one or two more steps and stops instantly to look at his behind.

"Grrrr"

A wolf-like creature with fresh blood on its mouth shows itself.

Alan's heart starts beating faster. He takes a deep breath and slowly calms himself down.

"It's just a wolf-like creature, and ordinary humans from Earth with some ability should be able to take it down.

"I have nothing to be scared of."

Alan brandishes his blade and looks the wolf in the eye.

showing that he is not afraid of the creature at all.

The wolf notices that the behavior of Alan is different.

The wolf was the same wolf that had killed and eaten the young girl.

He has some experience with humans and, because of his instinct, he can feel the difference between that young girl and the human in front of him.

After taking one or more steps toward the human being in front of him, he notices that this person is not going to escape or be scared of himself.

Alan let out a cold breath and nodded as Wolf stepped back down and began to move towards a different area.

"The creature is no fool."

"It was not hungry and looking like I was not escaping. "

"It decides to let me go without a fight."

Alan understands that these things he is going through are not some sort of game.

The creatures are no fools, controlled by some sort of thing or existence to actively seek and hunt them.

They are natural and smart.

If there is a chance they will get hurt and they are not that hungry, they will not fight.

They are not simply robots in animal or monster forms, as are most of the animals on Earth.

"We have to go, Marcus; we can't waste time trying to find Lilly."

A middle-aged woman with a black and dangerous-looking whip in her hands spoke to a man with a beard and blue eyes.

The man's name was Marcus, and he was well-built and holding a short spear and a small shield in his hands.

Marcus takes a deep breath and looks at the woman for a moment before speaking.

"I do not believe Lilly is dead, Ralia, but you are right."

Marcus and Lilly were childhood friends.

They found themselves after the first mission of Survival started.

After some time, they met with Ralia and formed a group to protect each other.

As their group formed, a pack of weird rat-like creatures ambushed them, and Lilly got separated from them.

Lilly was a magician-type, but she was timid.

Having only a water-magic book called "Water Whip" to protect herself

Marcus and Ralia found themselves after they got separated, but even three hours later, there was no sign of Lilly.

Marcus was feeling bad that he had lost his friend and blamed himself for her protection.

It is a silly thought, but humans are emotional creatures in the end.
