Shadows
Miyusaki's POV:
Lucy seems to be doing fine now, although she may cry then and there when she sleeps sometimes. Lately I've noticed something odd though. There always seems to be someone following me. I could hear their footsteps with my dragon hearing but I don't think Lucy realizes we're being followed...
As I woke up with these thoughts I heard Lucy talking in her sleep.
"Natsu... Why? I thought we were best friends... Minna? Why are you... Ignoring... Me?"
Lucy must be sleep talking about what had happened in the past. Her friends ignored her? Why would they do that? Lucy still continued to sleep talk.
"I'm... Sorry... Minna I'm so sorry... GOMENASAI!!!"
*gomenasai means sorry! Thought I would throw in some Japanese here!*
Lucy started bawling. Oh no, I need to get up!
I walked next to Lucy's bed. Luckily I woke up around this time anyway. I gently hugged her and I kept whispering in her ear,
"It's alright, it's ok, no one will blame you. I'm right here Lucy."
Thankfully she calmed down and slept soundly. I smiled. Seeing her sleep peacefully makes me really glad that she'll let me be her friend.
Lucy's POV:
I see my guild mates and...Natsu. He came up to me and started saying it over and over again.
"Lucy you're out since you're so weak. You're such a bother in our guild."
"S-stop it Natsu! Aren't you supposed to be my best friend?"
"Tch. Who would want a best friend thats you? You. Are. A. Weakling."
"N-Natsu? Why are you saying that?"
"What? Do you have a problem with me saying the truth?! Ha! I bet you're just jealous!"
Maybe it's true... Maybe I am jealous. No! They were just... not... meant for me...
The next thing I know I'm in a room. It looks so familiar,but I just can't pinpoint what. Then I see in the mirror. I'm a little girl. This was me when I was little. Dad then bursted in while holding mom. Dad started screaming at me. Tears streamed down my face.
"This is all your fault Lucy! You worthless daughter! You... YOU DID THIS TO LAYLA!"
"N-no daddy! I didn't do that! I-I"I bursted out crying and ran out into the garden alone. Why? What did I do to deserve this? Kamisama... Am I not meant for this world?
All of the sudden I feel someone whispering something I couldn't quite make out. But whatever they said soothed me. Then I felt a warm sensation around me while I hugged my knees in tears.
Natsu's POV:
Lisanna has been acting weird lately. She seems... Happy, but why? Lucy gone and everyone else is moping around. Even I don't feel like doing anything. But Lisanna, she just seems to be doing all fine and dandy. Hmmm...
Anyway, I think Happy, Wendy, and Levy have taken it the worst. Happy hasn't been eating at all. He just sits there crying to himself. I really wish I could do something to help him but he just ignores me...
-Flashback-
"Hey Happy, wanna go fishin with me?"
"..."
"H-happy? So do you?"
He turns to me and then yells, "JUST LEAVE ME ALONE NATSU! YOU-YOU BAKA!"
-End of Flashback-
I wonder what has gotten into Happy. He's never been so, so angry at me before!
Wendy on the other hand hasn't spoken to anybody... Not even Charle. Charle has been trying to get Wendy to cheer up, but just like Happy, she just stays silent and sad.
Last Levy... She's taken it far worse than any of those three. Whenever she comes in, her hair is a mess, bags under her eyes, and redness around her eyes from crying. All Levy does is read Lucy's book silently over and over again. And every single time she cries after. No one has been able to make those three smile.
Lucy, please come back... The guild, it needs you!
Lucy's POV:
I woke up to the smell of Misayuki cooking and to her humming. I'm glad that was all a dream. That morning everything would change. I would have to make the hardest decision in my life than I ever had before...

BTW, I've been freaking out about the manga! Omfg it's so good!!! I wish chapters in the Fairy Tail manga would have more updates :/ but I'll always love it!! ^~^
