"If God gave you another chance to live, would you, do it?" he asked, looking at the young girl. The silence between them grew as the clock ticked in a loud echo. Neither of them was amused, nor excited listening to the sound. In fact, they both detested it.
Time was slipping through their fingertips.
"If I," she started, her voice meek full of regret. "If only... if I knew that I would be leading this type of life, maybe I would. That way I wouldn't miss the seconds full of moments, I would live my life fully, and maybe, just maybe. Be happy." she said, looking towards the window. The snow drifted against the dark sky brightly. She hated the snow. "Is that selfish for me to ask?"
"Maybe," he answered. "Happiness can always be attained, but for you..."
"It's ticking."
