Chapter 66, Swears Revenge
"Whirlwind Explosion!" Mitan theew a giant bomb at the Chimeras that causes a whirlwind to blow.
"Shooting Star Spear!" A single spear thrown multiplies into countless spears that spear the Hercules that have somewhat humaniod forms.
"Dance of Strings, Tenth Dance, Puppet Master." Lucas moves the wounded Chimeras' bodies with strings and use them to fight against the other Chimeras. A horrifying and useful ability that can even be used on dead bodies.
"I, Arc, order the sky and earth to meet and bring about a different phenomenon." I suddenly feel stronger and I turn Arc and his unique chant. "Like it? It's the power of the Priestess of the Stars."
"Crimsom Javelin." I turned to Therese who impaled the Chimeras with a flaming javelin.
"This isn't easy." Claire reported. "There are too many to fend off."
"Tch. What do we do now?" Leon asked.
"I, Arata, order the sky, grant me your strength and bring forth an unseen phenomenon!" I chanted suddenly a great burst of wind engulfed the Chimeras destroying all of them. "Let's tend to the wounded quickly and get out of here!"
"Sanctuary!" We were immediately covered in a barrier by Ethan the moment we met up with the remaining knights that were entrusted with transporting the Horologium.
Thankfully there were no casualties only severely injured since one of them could use defense magic. As we regroup round the cargo, a man immediately calls outs to Arc. We turn to see Rio among the nighst, treating them.
"Arc!" Rio called out to Arc.
"Oh, Rio. You're with the transportation crew?" Arc greeted.
"Yes. We were transporting the Artifact when we were attacked by the Chimeras." He stated. "I'm glad you made it. Otherwise, we'd be dead."
"Zhen, Reinhardt, Lucas, Adonis, Rachel, you guys tend to the wounded." I ordered them while the rest stood gaurd.
"Can I see the Artifact?" I asked.
"Sure. It's in the crate, right Rio?" Arc answered.
"Oi?! Why are you showing this to an outsider?" He asked.
"He isn't an outsider and he is probably the only one capable of activating it." Arc said and brought me over to the crate and he opened it.
Inside it was an hourglass, made of crystal but inside it was completely empty. Without anything of use inside it. It's in its dormant state, good, even if the Chineras get it they can't activate it.
"Tch. There's still coming!" Theo reported.
"I, Arata, hereby order the heavens and earth, sever the bonds, meet and be united, call forth a different phenomenon in a different world, Unique Chant!" I chanted but there was no effect.
"What was that chant? Did it fail?" Alexis asked and suddenly butterflies made of light began to gather.
"No. It worked, very well." Arc said. "Unique Chant, an SSS class spell that has a different effect with each use."
The butterflies then landed of the Hercules charging in and destroeyd them by exploding. But still, more charge in through the opened portal and one, more humanoid emerges. Ras Algethi, the Tue Beast of Hercules.
"Leon, open a direct portal back to Stories castle." I whispered to him as I pulled back closer to the cart and silently stored the Horologium in my shadow.
"I am Ras Algethi, the strongest Chimera in exitence, you shall bow beforee me and hand over the Horologium." He said, he was dressed in a galdiator attire and had black hair with brown skin and black eyes.
"Ras Algethi, the name of the True Beast, Hercules. You've gone through the trouble of coming here yourself, meaning you're after the Horologium for a reason." I said with a smile. "What are you plotting? Oh, wait... What is Sirius plotting?"
"That's for us to kbow and you to find out." He answered. "Destroy them!!"
Chimeras came charging in thankfully Ethan's barrier holds and we get the chance to move the injured back to Story's castle.
"I, Arata, order the seven sisters to gather, high up in the heavens they shine bright, by the radiance of the stars, strike true, strike fast, Pleiades Light!" I chanted and the sky was covered in the night and the stars rained down. "Will!"
"Yeah." Will answered. "Shooting Star Gun!'
"Shooting Star Hammer!" Liam slammed his hammer onto the ground.
"Shooting Star Sword!" Alistar raises his sword to the skies.
"Shooting Star Spear!" Reinhardt threw his spear.
"Shooting Star Bow!" Alexis followed.
"Shooting Star Knife!" Zhen threw his knives at the Chimeras.
"Shooting Star Scythe!" Andrew's scythe dances in the air.
"Shooting Star Shield!" Ethan's Shield charges in.
"I, Arata, hereby order the stars, hereby order by blades, become one and strike with the radiance of the stars, Shooting Star Flower!" In an instant our attacks become one and strike Ras Algethi in one go.
A bright light shines and rises to the skies and when it clears, Ras Algethi, badly injured and covered in blood swears that he will have his revenge as he disappears into the portal.
"Tch. He got away." Leon said.
"It's fine. We managed to get everyone to safety that's all that matters." I told him. "I've also taken the liberty of storing away the Horologium. Let's head back to Story's castle and get eeady to leave."
"Okay." They answered and we rushed back to Story's Castle.
I didn't want to use Leon's ability to bend the space because it would be exhausting for him so we had to run back. We were relatively unharmed so we made it back without any issues. When we returned, Stroy stood at the entrance and when we met up with him he told us that it would be best to depart three days from now.
He is worried about my body since it's nearly of Vi and thankfully the Chimeras must he taken a back by the fact taht their strongest fighter is injured so they wouldn't start their attack on Galactic Gates till he recovered. I accept and we all head inside to get cleaned up, healed and rested till we leave.
