Chapter 184, Liam
"Eh? You'll stop pursuing Will? Why?" Reina asked Hinako as we ate dinner together.
"I just think... that Will's eyes will never look at me." She smiled. "This time I'll look for someone who actually will look at me."
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Well, Will seems to really like that person, so I wanna see him happy with them." She smiled.
"Really? Can you me their name?" I asked.
"Sorry Arata, but I made a promise. My lips are sealed." She smiled at me.
I sighed, Will didn't tell me anything at all. He doesn't even tell me much about his love life.
"Oh by the way, Arata, can I ask you to arrange something for me?" Felalona asked.
"Sure, what is it?" I asked her.
"Do you what kind of food Liam likes? You see it's..." She was a bit hesitant then I noticed the calendar.
"The Thanks Giving Festival of Love." I smiled. "You wanna give him something?"
"Yes... well... I wanna but I don't know what he likes." She says.
"Something Liam likes... Liam... has a taste for sweet things." I stated. "He has a delicate touch, he likes attention to details the most."
"Okay! Thank you!" She smiled.

"Baran? I don't know what that is." Licht stated. "Why?"
"I heard Aldebaran say it before he died." I answered.
"Van, can you check?" Licht said and Van nodded.
The book before him appeared and the pages flipped but he just shook his head.
"It's blank. Maybe you just heard things?" Andrew asked.
"Did something happen?" Arata who just joined us asked. He was with Hinako and the girls.
"Baran. Arata are you familiar with it? Will said that Aldebaran said it before he died." Reinhardt said.
"Baran?" Arata looked down a moment, he was trying to recall. "Sorry, I really don't."
His answer made me wonder, is Arata lying? Is it because he wasn't that good at keeping secrets that I noticed his change of expression after.
"Anyway, Liam, Felalona has something to ask you." Reina pushed Felalona forward.
"Liam... will you... go on a date with me this Thanks Giving Festival of Love?!" She asked and handed him a letter.
"A date?" Liam pondered then turned to the rest of us. "Alright."
To our surprise, Liam happily accepts. What is he planning? There's something about that smile of his that make me think for sure he isn't accepting the date without ulterior motives.

"Arata, I'll be going now." Liam smiled as he left for his date.
"Teehee, looks like things might be going good with Liam and Felalona." I smiled.
"I wouldn't be too sure about that." Alistar sighed. "Arata was this your idea? The date?"
"No. I simply helped Felalona as she asked what food Liam liked." I answered.
"Hmm..." Theo analyzed me.
"Dad!" Spiro suddenly jumped and spooked me.
"Spiro! There you are! How was time with Grandma and Grandpa?" I asked him.
"It was fun! We went to a beach resort, to a opera show, I got to see a whale and even an underground crystal forest." He said.
"Mom and dad must've taken him on a trip around the world." Will sighed.
"That's right, Uncle Will!" He smiled at Will.
"Spiro... what did you just call Will?" Andrew asked holding back his laugh.
"Uncle Will, since he and Dad are brothers, I'm supposed to call him Uncle. Did I say something wrong, Uncle Andrew?" He asked and this time Will laughed.
"Alright, enough making fun of your uncles." I patted his head. "Wanna go and see what Auntie Angie and May are doing?"
"Yeah!" He answered as we left and we went out to look for May and Angie.

"Liam... what do you want to do first?" Felalona asked me.
"Hmmm... what I wanna do right now?" I asked and I smiled. "I wanna know why you asked me out on a date."
"Well... um..." She was hesitating. "I just... wanna enjoy this date."
"Okay then." I smiled and took her hand. "Let's go."
We looked around the school, many students were surprised by our pair. Of course they would be, however, I'll let them off.
"Oh? Liam and Felalona, what an odd pair." Hayato who was with Lina and Kimie smiled at me. I noticed something was off with Kimie when she just stared at me.
"Can I help you with something, Kimie?" I asked her with a smile.
"Can I have a word?" She asked and nodded to the corner.
"Okay." I answered and followed her to the corner till we were out of earshot. "So, what is it?"
"That's what I wanna ask you. Excuse my words but what are you doing with that girl?" She asked. "And on the Thanks Giving Festival of Love of all days."
"I'm on a date." I smiled. "Do you have any other questions?"
"None. I just wanted to check one more thing before you go." She said. "What are you planning, with that fake smile?"
"Oh? What could you be talking about?" I asked as I headed back.
"Whatever, just make sure you don't forget what's important to you." She sighed.
"Kimie, I never forget what's important to me. That's why I'm doing this." I said as I turned the corner and smiled. "Arata is planning something by sending me on this date. I wanna know what it is, that's all."
Before I can hear her reply, I head back to Felalona and Hayato who were talking. Felalona immediately smiles when she sees me, shortly after Kimie joins us.
Kimie doesn't need to remind of what's important to me. I know very well that what I've found in this place is something that I mustn't lose ever. The love within Arata that was given to me won't easily be changed or swayed. That's why I'm doing this, to figure out what Arata's reason for sending one of his Blades on a date with someone they only met. Whatever Arata's planning, I won't let him do anything that can and will possibly hurt him.
