Chapter 181, Awakening of the Brave of the Sacred Gun

"Growth! Blades of Fallen Feathers!" I ordered him as he dashed around the battlefield.

"Wind Cutter!" Alistar slashed the Chimeras before him. "Arata! There's too many of them!"

"Wind Dance, Aero Blades!" Lia sent blades pf wind at her enemy Chimera. "We need reinforcements!"

"Snake Tail!" May send her whip sancibg behind us. "Mayumi already contacted the school and has requested for help."

"Destiny Harbinger!" Zander slashed down the Chimeras infront of him. "Tch, there's no end to them!"

"Howl, Ocean Trail!" The trident Theo tosses lands on the head of the Taurus.

"Spider's Web!" Lucas' web protects us from an incoming Taurus.

"I-" Before I could begin my chant, Aldebaran sends me flying back with his punch.

"Arata!" Van and Zander and pummeled to the ground by a Taurus.

"Tch. Sou-" Licht is sent flying back by a blast from Aldebaran.

"Sacred Flower, I will avenge my brothers today!" He said as he held an axe.

"Arata!" Alexis's voice called out.

"Just as you took my precious ones from me, I'll take precious ones from you." He said and everything around us was blasted by beams of light.

I couldn't see anything, but after the dust cleared I saw everyone on the ground, badly wounded and some were even unconscious.

"I'll make your death worse than theirs!" Aldebaran announces. "All of you watch closely!"

He takes my right arm and begins to pull, that's when I get what he means. He plans to kill me slowly and painfully, while everyone watches.

"No! Stop!" I can hear Theo's voice shout.

"Ahhh!!!!" My mind goes blank when my scream escapes.

I can only say that... my right has been forcefully pulled from my body.

"Argent!" Theo charges towards us but Aldebaran sees it coming and catches Theo.

"Pitiful." He tosses Theo up into the air and kicks hkm so far I can't tell where he landed.

"You-" Before I could finish his grip tightened around my neck.

"Save it. I plan to enjoy this." He grinned.

I couldn't believe what was happening before me, nearly all the Braves present were knocked out. Alistar and the others were badly injured, I couldn't even see Theo, I could see Lia and the others on the ground. What happened here? And where's Arata?!

"Arata?! Arata?!" I panickingly called out his name.

"Will..." I heard a voice and I turned to its direction.

Arata was being held at the neck by Aldebaran, Growth was stamped to the side of a building. I could see he was turning violet, blood was dripping from his missing limb.

"Ahhh!!" I lose control of my rage and fire at Aldebaran.

I fire at Aldebaran and somehow managed to get him to let go of Arata. My guns continously shoot and chase after him as I dashed to Arata's side.

"...W...Will...?" His blood drenched hands reach for my face.

"Arata! Hang in there!" I told him.

"Will... can you... take me... to Growth...?" He asked as he held my hand.

"Yeah! I'll take you to him." I answered as I held back tears.

"William! Arata! Is he...?" Hinako was beside me, I could tell her tears were aboyt to come up.

I held Arata in my arm as I walked towards Growth. It was in bad condition, it was pounded to the wall of the building. I'm not even sure how this could've happened. Arata reaches for it, I can tell he wants to take a feather but his left hand can't do it. His body is too weak to handle anymore than what he is doing now.

"Here, I'll help." I told him as I helped his hand reach for a feather on Growth.

Together, we pluck a feather from Growth, Arata tries to enclose it in his hands but he really can't do anything with how badly injured he is. So, I cup my hand over his and the feather begins to glow.

"Will... lift it up." He says.

I do and the feather has turned into a rose, Arata's face lights up and a trace of a smile plays on his lips.

"La... fleur... de... cette... lame... Bloom... my proud... first... Brave..." He says and the rose petals engulf us.

"William!" I can hear Hinako's voice calling me but all that I can see is Arata before.

His body was rising to the skies, it was glowing and so was I. The petals surrounded us and then, Arata's wounds began to heal, some clumped around his arm and the petals cleared, all his wounds were healed, his missing limb was reconstructed and he was smiling down on me.

"Arata, let me make a promise to you." I say to him. "From now on, I, William Akatsuki, vow to be your Sword. I'll protect you, help you, and at all times, be your gun that shall shoot all your enemies without fail."

"Then, William, stand up and remember what you have vowed here today." Ye answered.

"Rise, My Proud Brave." He smiled.

As I kneeled down, the petals all surged into my Brave Crest and I could feel my power inside me growing. When the petals clear, I look to find my Crest has once again evolved. The First kite of the eight was now detailed, with a gun embbeded into it.

"Let's go, Will. And put an end to Aldebaran's crimes." Arata smiled at me, all his wounds were healed, no sign of him losing any limb either.

Together, for everyone's sake, Arata and I, will keep fighting and we'll definite win. I'm sure that this is my answer, to why I can't leave Arata alone. Because, more than anyone else, more than myself, I love Arata, and I'll never ever leave his side from now.
