Chapter 113, Levatio

"In regards to the spell you have created, it may be best to recreate and reconstruct it." Julius said. "Your power isn't fully awakened yet so being able to cast such a spell will drain a lot."

We were currently gathered in the Dream Castle to discuss my newly created spell. According to them, the spell is apparently not yet complete and I should try to reconstruct it.

"The chant should also be reconsidered." Ivy smiled. "Try changing a few words or phrases in the chant."

"Okay." I answered.

"Also, head east of the school, you'll find something waiting for you there." Gregory smiled. "Take care, Tenth."

"I will. Thank you." I answered.

I open my eyes and my head rests on Will's lap, nearly everyone is looking down on me. I jump awake thanks to that and everyone looks at me a bit worried. Something isn't right, the air is heavy with negative emotions but then suddenly it changes back to normal. Before I can ask what Emilia said Seiji breaks the silence.

"Are you okay?" Seiji asked.

"Yes." I answered and recalled what Gregory said. "Head east and you'll find something waiting for you..."

"Head east?" May asked and looked to the direction of east. "That'd be in the direction of the sea."

"Did the other Le Fleurs say anything?" Liam asked.

"Head east and you'll find something waiting for you is what Gregory told me. Let's go." I told them.

"Oi! Wait up." I headed east using Vi to boost my jumps. The others trail behind me.

When we arrive to the eastern shores, the skeleton of a giant creature litters the bay. What is this? It isn't a Chimera's remain that's for sure.

"These look like the remains of a giant sea creature." Hatori said.

I look to the sea to see it is covered in mist, hmm... what could be waiting here for me. From the size of these bones it must've been a gigantic thing. Just then, I sense a faint presence of Vi within the gigantic skeleton.

I carefully check the skeleton and I notice that it was long and resembled a snake but had limbs. No way! Could this be!!

"Search the area quickly! See if there's a person or remains of a person nearby!" I ordered. "Everyone, stay clear of the skeleton."

"Okay." The others answered.

"Van, Zander, can you two help me create a large scale magic circle?" I asked the two.

"Sure." Van answered.

"I'm not good with magic circles but I can provide you with Vi." Zander said.

"Arata! Come quick!" Lia called and I went over to them.

Lia stood above what appeared to be the claws of the giant creature and underneath there was a leg of a person.

"Help me lift this thing." Andrew said and they lifted it.

Underneath, a young woman, with green hair and porcelain white skin dressed in a tattered dress was unconscious.

"She seems to be breathing, however, she seems to have lost a lot of Vi." Monica stated.

"Growth, A Lot of Life!" In my haste, I summon Growth and it feather fell on the young lady. She seems to be fine now but she turns a bit and I notice she has something clutched in her hand.

I immediately take it and see that it's as I feared. This young woman, is likely the Magician of Verdant Blooms. This is the Essence of Spring, meaning that the giant skeleton is what remains of the Azure Dragon.

"Mitan take the young lady back with you. Everyone clear the area." I ordered.

"Arata, the magic circle you asked for is ready." Van called out to me.

"What are you going to do?" Touya asked.

"Probably something pointless. And who's the woman anyway?" Karin snarled.

"Oh beloved light, Oh beloved life, oh beloved bloom, I wish to stay by thine side. These feelings found after a thousand nights, with the silver moon as our witness, grant me your power." I chanted. "Oh ancient power sleeping within, oh sealed door of the ancients, the bell chimes and rings."

I hold my left hand out to the skeleton of the Azure Dragon. In my other, I hold the Essence of Spring. I hope this works.

"Distant light seen in the dark night, stars which guide my way, golden sun that shines upon all of life." I chanted. "Your wounds which will never heal again, your scars that shall never fade, as the voices of the night whisper, let the daybreak grant you life once again oh weary traveller. Levatio!"

I throw the Essence of Spring towards the corpse and it shines a verdant hue. The skeleton begins to rise and at the chest, the Essence of Spring finds its place. In an instant, the skeleton is covered by organs, flesh and everything and finally green scales. What we see after is a Chinese Dragon with green scales.

"That is... the Azure Dragon." Van said as I fell to my knees.

"Arata! Hang in there." Will hugged me.

"I'll be fine... I just... need a bit... of sleep..." My eyes close and I lose consciousness in Will's gentle embrace.

"Master, we were unable to capture the Magician of Verdant Blooms and the Azure Dragon however we have managed to deal great damage to them." Addy stated.

"Well done. The Banquet of Blood has only just begun, won't you entertain me more, my Fleur." I smiled and just then I felt a large accumulation of Vi. "Levatio, the magic of absolute revival."

"Excuse us?" Eddy asked.

"It's nothing. Resume with your work." I ordered them and they nodded.

The game has only just begun my Fleur, this is only the beginning of the Banquet. I'm certain, you will surely entertain me!

The very idea of what's to cone excites me very much. My precious bloom, the one to be closest to Fleur and her power, won't you show me how you struggle in vain before the despair of this world!!
