Arc 6: Capricorn Chapter 34, Move Forward

It's been a week and we still haven't decided where to go. There are so many places we could go to in Fantasy Forest but I can't recall where.

We've been in Azure Skies for a week and three days now. Maybe if I sleep it off I'll remember where we're supposed to go.

"Oh, you're awake." Elias smiled at me.

"Ugh... where am I?" I asked.

"In your dream castle, well it's more of an overlapping dimension that connects all who have beared the Sacred Flower." He said. "The others aren't here though. I'm the only one here right now since the thread of fate seemsbto be weak."

"Why am I here?" I asked.

"You're here because you've been stressing about where to find the pieces." He said. "We got worried so I'm here to give you a hint."

"A hint?" I asked.

"The Blades of the Sacred Flwoer represent eight different ideas. Devotion, Affection, Admiration, Protection, Liberation, Resolution, Acceptance and Realization." He said. "That Will is the very embodiment of Protection. Liam is the one who represents Affection. Alistar represents Admiration. Zhen is Devotion. Reinhardt is Resolution. Alexis is Acceptance. Andrew is Realization and Ethan is Liberation."

"They do match the things that happened to them." I said. "Will has always protected me, Liam is only affectionate with me. I didn't realize Alistar admired me though."

"Well, you can go from there right?" He asked with a smiled and I nodded.

When I open eyes I'm lying on a bed. During breakfast the others seem to be busy discussing something when Angie breaks the whispering.

"Argent, your saying besides this key there are three more keys we need to search for besides the puzzle pieces?" Angie said as she held the key in her hand.

"Yeah." I answered. "Also, I know where we're headed next. The Fantasy Forest."

"Yeah but where?" Andrew asked.

"Admiration. The Camellia Castle." I answered. "If I'm not mistaken, Camellia represent love, affection and admiration. That's where the next piece is."

"Are you certain?" Alistar asked and I smiled.

"The flower that reminds me of you the most is Camellia flowers after all." I answered.

"Okay then." He smiled.

"So, our next step is Camellia Castle?" Angie asked.

"Hey, I have to ask, why are their castles like these in all the worlds?" Ethan asked.

"We don't know either. The story behind them is so old that even we have no idea. They are apparently old ruins of ancient civilations." Lucas answered.

"They're temples erected by Fleur." I answered. "Ancient temples meant to serve as the banishers of the Chimeras. But after countless eons, I suppose they have lost their powers."

"Fleur?" Adonis asked.

"The one who gave birth to the Sacred Flower. The first person to fight against the Chimeras." I answered. "She was the Maiden of Life and the only one who could fight them at the time. After she sealed away the Chimera she gave her blessings to Elias who became the First Brave."

"Elias... the First Sacred Flower." Adele said. "I read about in old books back home."

"Elias later distributed his power to the first eight Blades. After and before he defeated the Chimeras he had spread his power to many people." I answered. "That's how the Braves and Vi came into exitence. The Sacred Flower is the primogenitor of all Braves, the point where all Braves are connected."

"I see. That expalains a few things." Angie said and smiled. "We'll begin preparations so everyone get ready to depart for Fantasy Forest."

"Ah, that's right!" I realize something and got up. "Let's leave tomorrow. I'm going to meet up with Sylphid to talk about somethings."

"Oi! Wai-" Before Will could stop me I ran down.

"I'll be back later!" I told them.

I ran past the town and went off to look for Sylphid. I want to talk to her about some things. Mostly regarding my past.

"Hiro, you there?" Riku, a young man with black hair and white skin with brown eyes asked me.

"Yeah, is something wrong?" I asked.

"Moyu just contacted me. Apparently the Capricorn has been releasing large amounts of Vi." He answered. "We're continuing to observe it now."

"Okay, be careful." I told him.

Things have been really worrisome lately. A month after those guys left things started to go sour for us. The Capricorn began to show signs of activating. I'm worried. I contacted Will the other day to check on them and apparently they're now travelling the worlds to search for the way to eliminate all of the Chimeras. I didn't tell them about the Capricorn because I wanted to handle it on our own. They already have their hands full, we have to make do on our too!

We can't keep relying on them. We have to be able to defend this world by ourselves as well.

"The scales have tilted, while the Flower wanders, the strings of fate begin to connect, the one who sleeps shall awaken." Diana said as we were having lunch together.

"A vision?" May asked.

"Captain, reporting." Yuuki, our youngest member with white hair and gray eyes with white skin said as he stood in front of me. "The Capricorn's Vi signs have been found. Also... the Capricorn... seems to be showing signs of activation."

"That could be bad news to all of us." I sighed.

"What are you stressing about?" Touya, whose brown hair spikes in all directions and brown eyes locked on me ask. "We can handle this."

"I wonder." Lina said.

"If things go from bad to worse, let's contact Arata and the rest." May said.

"They said they were searching for a way to stop the Chimeras, we have to make do on our own." I said. "We can't burden them any more."

"Don't say that." Lina said. "If Arata heard you he'd be very angry."

"I just want to lessen the burdens put on his shoulders." I answered. "After all, Will seemed concerned when we talked last night."

"We should try to handle this by ourselves first." Diana said. "Arata is already shouldering so much, we have to try-no! We have to protect this world by our own hands."

"I suppose." May and Lina said.

We have to move forward, we have to protect this world. Because, this is the world they're going to return to after all.
