Arc 18, Growing Chapter 132, Prologue of the Ancient War

As a new dawn broke over the horizon, a new day began for Saint who had just finsiehd his morning jog around the school when he is greeted by Allen.

"Working hard are we, Saint." He smiled.

"Yes!" Saint smiled back.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, Theo and the others were training as well. Everyone was working hard to grow stronger.

They practiced combat in the morning after their exercises and would work hard throughout the day. Lia, Angie, Adele, Rachel and Adonis were practicibg casting spells with Van and Zander. They were often joined by Mayumi, Shizu, May, Diana, Lina and a few other Braves.

Hiro emersed himself in training and growing stronger whilst Will aided in his training. Andrew spent much of his time studying about strategies and the Chimeras with Monica, Seiji and Hatori while Dustin and Alessia helped with training the Braves. This included Yuuki and Mao, along with others.

After everyone trained, Dino and Ryl would teach them about other things, such as history and other things related to the Sacred Flower.

Arata had left for a few days to go meet with Arcs, Claire and Story in Tetra-Topia. He of course, went alone much to everyone's disapproval. The reason he went there was to ascertain certain things. As he was wary of the darkness that had begun to accumulate. He knew that something was definitely wrong, and he wanted answers to the questions that were accumulating inside him.

While he was away, the Braves all trained themselves to be stronger by the time Arata returned. They trained day and night as the school had official entered a state of emergency and high alert. Classes had been postponed, students are either leaving or training. It's already been two months since the incident with Karin and everyone has been working hard.

"I heard that Arata is learning a lit over there." Leon said as they were all having lunch.

"Still, I can't believe he went alone." Adonis said.

"We couldn't stop him and as we are now we can't protect him." Will stated. "That's why, before Arata gets back we need to get stronger."

"In order to do that, you may need to consider mastering these." Dino said as he took the necklace Will wore.

It was the Article Arata made for him, they all are not able to bring out their weapons true potential. While the eight Braves stared at the crystal in their hands, the Vassal Braves each jodded to themselves and Ryl smiled gently.

When the two were alone they began to talk about what they had collected.

"They all are very much skilled and have potential." Ryl said. "But even so, they are lacking experience. I'm heading back soon to get the others. If they're here we can train much easier."

"But there's no guarantee that they'll help." Dino stated.

"I know they will, Artz, Rum and Mani are excited to meet him too." Dino stated.

"Yeah." Ryl smield and got up.

The indiciduals Dino refered to are three more Crests. The Quartz, Artz, the Currundum, Rum and the Tourmaline, Mani. They are all very skilled in combat and as such are known to be very powerful amonst the Crest. After that the two go back to the training hall where Arata has made a call.

They all gathered together in a group and greeted Arata with a smile. Arata smiles as he smiled down on everyone. Beisde him was Arc who was helping him research hw to seperate the Gems of Sin from Karin and was trying to unfold the magic behind the flaotong islands as Arata's original theory was scraped not long after he had it.

"How'a everyone?" He asked them.

"We're fine, working hard." Theo answered.

"Don't overdo it you hear me." He smiled.

After cutting off the call, Arata returned to work, together with Arcs and Story. They were searching for ways to seperate the gems and Karin. They've raided the depths of the Anceint Library tryingbto find whatever they can as the Chronicle would not cooperate.

Meanwhile, Licht, Karin and Pierrot were planning their next move when Karin asked.

"Enough with this, let's just attack them!" She exclaimed angrily.

"We can't, although we are indeed power and the Le Fleur is not in this world, he still has his Braves left here and he has the power to teleports here when necessary." Pierrot explained.

"We need a pan if we plan to attack." Licht stated. "A diversion that will seperate him from his Braves, and that's where they come in."

He was referring to the Chimeras who were nearing their return to this world.

"On the day of the eclipse, they will descend, and on that day we shall make our move!" Licht laughed.

"The Night of Catastrophe is nearly upon us." Pierrot smiled.

The Night of Catastrophe that was said to have given birth to the Chimeras which Fleur drove away a thousand years ago, this was his goal, to revive it using Fleur's power that sleeps in Arata. Whether he succeed or not concerns not the two as each has their own reasons for forming this alliance.

Addy and Eddy who watched from the sidelines have long been worried about what would happen to their master should he fail. They have been by his side since they were young and know that this isn't what their master truly wishes for, which is why they wish for the Le Fleur and him to meet without anyone to get in their way.

'Eddy, do you understand?' Addy asked him, as twins the two hand the ability to communicate telepathically.

'Yeah.' He answered. 'We shall find a way tp get the master and the Le Fleur to be alone.'

The wished from the bottom of their hearts that the Le Fleur would be able to save their Master and defeat Pierrot and Karin.

Meanwhile, Saint who was training in Galactic Gates felt an ominous feeling flowing through him. He stayed silent but he knew something was about to begin, something that would soon become the trigger for a war.

The war was drawing nearer and nearer, a darkness was creeping, the pieces were nearly gathered. It was nearly time, for the finale of the ancient war between humanity and Chimeras.
