Arc 16, Banquet of Blood, Chapter 117, The Trigger of Bloodshed

We all head outside and there we find a pair dressed in black cloaks with matching masks of foxes while a person stood behind them. The man wore a mask of a fox and a tremendous amount of Vi overflowed behind him. This man, his is without a doubt no normal person. I don't sense the anything similar to the presence of the True Beast from him so he isn't a Chimera either.

"They came to us it seems." Van said as he casually held his book.

"Le Fleur, Le Sabre, Le Livre, the ones who have been called." The masked man, I know now by his voice, the question is how he knows about us. He raises his ahnd and points at me. "I am here to eliminate you."

Without waiting, his two accomplices attack us. They're swift and strong, able to easily over power Mitan and Andrew as they charged at me. Zander pushes me away just in time to avoid the knife one of the masked assailants threw at me.

Just then, the masked man takes out what appears to be a golden key. Without a doubt, that is the Key. He holds the Key to the sky and begins to chant.

"Between world to world, from boundary to boundary, the borders are broken and the space is bent. Merge and bend them to my will, Dimension Order!" The Key glowed bright and I clicked my tongue as a portal begun to emerge. If we get sucked into the dimension portal who knows where we'll be sent.

"Cover me!" I shouted as I reached for my shadow. It's in pretty deep but if I can get the to it, I can do something about that vortex that has opened.

"Storm Arrow!" Alexis' arrow flies into the sky and rains down.

"Whirlwind Spear!" Reinhardt's spear aims at them but both attacks are deflected and sucked into the vortex.

I managed to reach in and I immediately pull it out. I doesn't belong to my Storage but to Erika's so it was in deep but I managed to get it out. A sword, with a broadsword with a sharp edge and a hilt designed tp resemble wings where a single red jewel is embedded.

"Out of my way!!" I shouted as I ran for the vortex. "Asteria!"

In a slash the vortex is shattered and easily destroyed and I turn my attention to the three who the others kept at bay.

Just then, behind the masked man, a horde of monsters emerged. Orcs and goblins, flying snakes and even insect like mosnters. Tch. This is the power of the Key. It can summon beings from another world, it can even break the boundaries that connect the worlds which is why it is so dangerous.

"Asteria!" I slashed and a wave of light emerges. It's strong but... I need another weapon. I put the Asteria back in my shadow and pull out two swords.

"Pres. Mayumi! Evacuate everyone back to school. We'll deal with them!"

"Okay then." She answered. "Everyone, we're falling back! Return to the school and activate the defense system!"

"Why? They're just monsters, if we can fight Chimeras we can take them on." Karin stated flatly.

"Yeah. We can help!" Mao said worried about us at their numbers.

"Arata, we'll fight too!" Touya shouted to me.

"Tempest!" I slashed with one of them. "No. We can't fight at full power with you here! Besides, these aren't normal mosnters, they're ones that have been given stronger power. Please fall back for your own safety!"

"What do you know?!" Karin snarled and suddenly an arrow flew my direction. I turn and weapon wielding goblins. Tch, I can't focus with them here.

"Tch. Tenpest!" I slashed away with the sword and cause baldes of wind to emerge.

"Arata! Over there!" Lia pointed to an orc wearing armor. An Orc Knight?! Tch.

"I'm casting Level Boost on everyone. Get ready!" I shouted. "Hiro, get out of here. Please. Unlike you, we've fought with these monsters before. I don't want anyone to get hurt. Please."

"Okay." Hiro answered. "We're heading back!"

"Okay." The others finally agreed and fell back to school and activated the school's defenses.

"Is everyone ready?!" I exclaimed as I dodged an arrow.

"Yeah." They answered.

"Beloved Bloom, Beloved Petals, Beloved Gold, I wish to remain by thine side. This love found after a thousand nights. My name is Argent, an forgotten light. My name is Arata, a new day." I chanted and my body began to glow. Two rings each made of eight petals surrounds me and my crest appears behind me. "For you who reach for the azure skies, I allow this ancient light to envelop me. Echo, voices of you who have walked this path, let the lamplight engulf all, ancient flower, ancient bloom, devour all and bloom!"

"Here it comes!" Theo shouted as they fended off the goblis and orcs and shot down the monsters. "Everyone gather around Arata!"

"Grow. This vessel, this power. A tower of riches for a tower of wishes. Until the tolling of the bell, grant forth great strength and power." I chanted and behind me the flower bloons and above head a flower emerges. "Grow! This power granted by the Ancients, for this body that has taken up the might of Ancients. Grant them strenght, as the swords clash, until the light burns out, I emplore you, grant them might and power! Level Boost!"

The flower above my head shatters and a golden petals fall on me. I raise my hand out to the others who are fighting.

"Onward! Heroes!" I casted the spell on them and the crest appear on their backs.

In an instant, their bodies and engulfed by light and their power overflows.

"With this... you'll... stand... a... chance..." I said as my consciousness fades.

Before anything else happens, I collapse from over use of my Vi and I hear the sound of weapons clashing and voices being called as my consciousness faded off.
