CHAPTER 30: FALLING IN LOVE

Aunt Shana made some lunch for her children including me. We are all the same lunch today. I did not join Callie during lunch because we both need our own time. We were inseparable since then.

I finished mine and decided to go to Callie. I am sure she is so engrossed with her drawings. Sometimes she forgot to eat her lunch.

But lately, she was so into foods. I even cook for what she wants to eat. She was craving sometimes that was not in her style.

One time while she was browsing the net and saw other countries foods. She asked me to cook that for her. Luckily, you can seach the recipe online.

I do not mind cooking it for her. I love seeing it that she loves my food that I cook.

When I reached near Callie's, I heard voices. Nobody knew our hideout. I rushed as saw Brenda and her friends. Then Callie.

"What did you do to her?" I said angrily with a loud voice. Walking towards them.

"I- I did not do anything. We were talking and I pushed her slightly then she fainted." Brenda's face was scared.

"Get her things and follow me to the clinic." I commanded Brenda as I carried Callie in my arms.

I am scared too. I do not know why she fainted but it worried me. We reached there and I rushed in. I placed Callie in the bed. The doctor is in as we were inside.

"Okay, only one person allowed in here to stay." She spoke.

"Doc, I will stay with my girlfriend. I want to be with her no matter what." I said firmly.

"Okay, the three of you can go out. Go to your classes." She pointed Brenda and her friends. "No need all of you to be here."

Brenda handed me Callie's bag and left us. I watched as the doctor examine her. I never blink looking at them. I am so nervous. I do not to see her like this. The doctor stopped.

"Okay, doc! What is wrong with her? Why is she not waking?" I asked without any pause.

"She is alright. She just need rest." She spoke. "You are her boyfriend?" I nodded.

Well, we may not talk about it but I am sure we considered in our minds already. Besides, I never hook up with the other girls since we did.

"Well, then congratulation." The doctor says and smile.

"Huh! About what?" I asked.

"You are going to be the father. I can feel her pulse that she is pregnant." She said that would shock me. "But to make it sure. We need to transfer her to the hospital." I did not reply but the doctor already called the ambulance to pick Callie.

We were in the hospital room. Callie is still asleep. I was facing back and forth waiting for the result of her blood test. I already called her parents and my parents too. They also need to know where we are right now. They told me that they will be here tonight.

The door opened; the doctor came in with the printed paper in her hands. I walked nearby.

"What are the results, Doctor?" I asked.

"As what your school doctor suspected. She is really pregnant. Almost two months now." She said and handed me the result. "She needs to rest more and eat healthy foods as possible. Then I will prescribe some vitamins later." I nodded then she left.

Almost two months? That would be the time we did at the beach. From there, I realized I forgot to use protections. We did it bare. That's why it felt so good. I do not know exactly my reactions but I am happy at the same time.

However, what about Callie's? Would she regret it? Would she think aborting our baby? I looked at her. She is sleeping like a baby. My baby. She is my baby.

I am falling deep for her. I hope she did the same for me.

I was still looking at her when she slowly opened her eyes.

"Hey!" I said as I caressed her cheek. She stared at me for a while.

"W-what happened?" She asked after clearing her throat. I grabbed some bottled water. Giving it to her to drink before I tell her the truth.

"You fainted, my love." I said with endearment.

"Oh! Maybe I was so busy with our projects lately for the last grading to the finals." She replied. "I should not overwork and sleep early next time." She smiled.

"Babe, that's not it." I spoke. Her face was confused. "You are..." I paused.

"I am... What?" She raised her right eyebrow.

"Almost two months pregnant." I answered.

Her eyes were widened. She never left her eyes on me as I smiled on her. Then she blinked.

"Say something please." I speak.

"I- I do not what to say. It's just..." She paused. "Sudden." She sighed. "What are we going to do?" She asked me.

"Do you want it?" I asked.

Callie did not answer but putting her both hands to her stomach. She was thinking for a moment there. She glanced at me and nodded.

"How about you?" She asked back. "You want to keep it?" She whispered.

"Yes!" I said without blinking. "Our baby is a gift. It is not her or his fault but we did it because we love it." Callie's tears slowly fall as I say that. I hugged her. "You are important to me and I am fallen' in love with you."

She pulled away. "You do?" She asked.

"Yes, with or without the baby, our baby." I confessed. "I could not imagine myself without you. I got scared when you fainted."

"Me too! I am falling in love with you." She spoke. That made me happy. I kissed her passionately.

I know we are still young but I make sure that I will always be there for her and our coming baby.
