CHAPTER 24: WEEKEND GETAWAY (1)

I do not know what is going on with me and Cal. But kissing her was my addiction now. I keep repeating it in my mind.

Our parents flew to Paris early this morning flight. I was on my way to Cal's house. It was 9 in the morning in my watch. Parking my car into the side properly. Climbing out of the car, walking toward the front door.

Pressing the bell, waiting for Cal to open it. It never took long; Caria's face was in front of me.

"Hey, big bro, why did you not come in directly." She pouted. "We already gave you the passcodes." She added.

I grinned. Yeah, they gave me the access codes to their house. I could come and go as I please.

"Well, I just wanted your sister to get her ass down but did not expect you were home." I chuckled. "No plans today?" I stepped inside.

"I do not know yet but I think none, no plans." Caria replied. "Maybe staying here and spending time with sissy and ... you." She added rolling her eyes.

"Well, I have an idea since it is a beautiful day today. Why don't we go to the beach instead.?" I suggested. "It has been a while I haven't been to our beach house. We will be back tomorrow late afternoon. What do you think?"

"I think Zany and I will love it." She said clapping her hands for excitement.

"What's going on?" Cal said, looking to both of us in the living room area.

"Sissy, sissy, where are going to Big bro's beach house." Caria ran towards her. "Spend the night together and return by tomorrow. Please say you will agree...please, please, please." Callie falls her eyes on me, wondering.

"Well, it was just a sudden plan when I got here and talked to Caria." I said defending myself. "Unless, you have other plans for the day." I added.

Both Caria and I were looking at her, waiting for her response.

"No, no plans just doing what I always do on my spare time." Cal said. "It is fine with me if we were going to the beach. Let us bring other friends too." She smiled.

"That would be great. I will tell Vince and you will tell Cindy and Zany too. Be ready by an hour. We will be leaving then." I said and they were both nodding then disappear. I left their house and decided to change my car to my dad's.

Taking out my phone from my pocket, dialing Vince number.

"Hey, man! Want to go for some overnight to the beach house?" I asked without waiting for him to say hello.

"Hello first." Vince chuckled. "Sure, I think I already heard the girls' talking just now. I am in Cindy's right now and I guess I will wait for her to grab some clothes then we will drop by my house for mine too. We will see you there."

"Great! That would be nice. See you later." I spoke. We ended our conversation and waiting for the two ladies upstairs to finish.

Before an hour that I said. The girls were walking already down the stairs with their individual backpack.

"I told Zany we will fetch her on our way to the beach so she will not tired walking alone towards our house." Caria giggled.

I can see that she was so excited with our overnight stay. I glanced at Cal who was shaking her head.

"Well, come on then." I told them.

We went out of their house as soon as they secured everything before leaving. Callie left some message to her parents knowing where we will be for the weekend.

Getting all inside my dad's Land Rover Range Rover for this outing. He does not mind at all if I use his favorite vehicle.

Later, we stopped by in Zany's house. Uncle Zed, Zany's father was standing beside Zany as we arrived.

"Hello Uncle Zed" Both the girls greeted in sync. Zany kissed her father and opened the back door quickly.

"Hi Uncle Zed" I greeted also.

"Hello my nieces. Hi Eian! You take good care of my girls, okay." I nodded. "Call me anytime if you all encounter problems." He reminds us. "Be careful."

"Do not worry Uncle Zed. I will take good care each one of them. Bye!" Assuring him and waved goodbye.

"Bye Uncle Zed"

"Bye dad, love you."

"Love you too! Love you all!"

We travelled two hours before we reached the destination. Our caretaker was standing by the gate to open it.

Seeing Vince, Cindy and the two young boys. He invited his brother Levi and cousin Noah who were the same age as the young girls at the backseat.

They were in the same school and been friends for years as I remember. Well, we were in the same area not the same subdivision. Of course, we knew.

I parked my Rover in the garage and let the girls walked out first. I smiled seeing them excitedly towards their friends.

Robert approached me. "Sir, everything you told me already inside the house. I bought and stock it as the way it is. Linda already cooked the foods that were already on the table."

"Thanks Bert! You may go now and spend your time with the family. Just say hi to Linda and kids for me." I spoke.

Bert and Linda were like a family to us for years even in every generation. It was like their loyalty to our family pass to their children. It started with our great grandparents in my maternal side.

However, not all of their clan works for us but it depends to them. As I can see each of their clan were still in us. Just like my dad, he is still working with Cal's dad as his right hand in the company or personal matters. To think he can start his own business. Instead, he chooses to serve with them until he retires just the same as my grandpa before. Maybe someday it would be my turn because I idolize Uncle Colton in so many ways.

Shaking my head as I heard them laughing and hugging. It was nice knowing that this weekend was going to be an awesome one.
