Everybody, quickly come into the battle, if you missed this opportunity, who knows when will you get that again!" one of the residents living in the Outer Dominus Fortress laughed as he speaks and enters the battlefield.

Without anyone understands the motive of their attack, this ends up becoming a regular event that happened every end of the month. For ten times a year, the Slaves of Elon, namely mammalian monsters, will execute an operation to try and take down the Dominus Fortress.

And it was also on this specific day itself monsters unrelated to the usual residents of the New World appears. Of course, due to the fact most location in the unexplored, their understanding is pretty limited. But this does not explain why more of the day to day hunted monsters situated inside most area belonged to the insect and reptile monsters.

It was because the blood fro these Ashen Olive Rat can be made into a high-quality food source, the Ashen Oil. Because their existence is only one in 50 attempts a year, this made the prices on the product came from them is extremely expensive!

They're three different Ashen Oil that can be produced from the Ashen Olive Rat. The Blood-Made, Flesh-Made, and Bone-Made. And from there, each of them is sold in two different quality, Pure and Impure. The Impure version of each oil starts from 1 Dominus Coin every 100ml, and for the Pure version, they're auctioned or reserved for people inside the Upper, Elite, and Imperial Society.

"Kill!" the masses made their move and clashed with the Ashen Olive Rats. Although they're strong, fighting against the Ashen Olive Rats as big as a 150cm length child, few deaths will still occur. And before they can react to the larger group of incoming monsters, those Qualified Hunters make their way into the fight!

As a fellow resident of the fortress, how can they spend their time to look and wait for results? Hundreds of Qualified Hunters entered the battlefield to start slaughtering the monsters! Most of them wield the Medan-Material swords, but some doing better is showing off their strength with their custom weapon.

And among them, is a wielder of a gigantic 2.2m long broadsword, Baran Link! Due to the sharpness of his weapon, each swing decapitates the Ashen Olive Rats, and some luckier one might be heavily injured. But their luck does not last long before some random hunter appears and kill them personally.

The fight continues. Half an hour later, the lessening of rats become noticeable. But at the same time, the appearance of something else from the forest came out to start suppressing their advance. Uncomfort shrouded the mind of people fighting on the battlefield as they tried to reduce the number of Ashen Olive Rats.

"ROAR!!!" a group of incoming beast came in rushed into the battlefield along with their sharp fang and claws. Although their number is lesser compared to the Ashen Olive Rats, their strength is greater than the former.

"Quickly retreat! The Flame Foxes is here!" the people retreated immediately when the foxes came out from their hiding spot. But very unfortunate, the Flame Foxes is called as such because of their deadly force in closing up the distance like a Fire Bolt.

Plus, their attack is strong. Even the Red Ruby Champion or Ruby Broodmother's strength is pale in comparison. Before even the majority of people managed to escape, the Flame Foxes already closed their distance and started their counter slaughtering.

"Aargh! Help me!"

"No! I don't want to die!"

"Father! Father!"

Screams came from all over the places. While the professional hunters tried to protect as much as they could, their limited numbers restrict the distance they can cover. Furthermore, the Flame Foxes is very intelligent to distance themselves from the hunter's reach but closing their gap from the peasants.

"Leave! Don't let anyone stop you from escaping!" the professionals step forward and try salvaging the situation, but the wind of the battle no longer allowed them to do so. Inside the battlefield at this moment, two among the five hundred Flame Foxes begins to face a kind of symptom.

That symptom greatly fascinated the people from Inner Fortress Society. As they came forward and entered the battlefield, the two foxes started to have their fur peeled from their skin. Shedding their hair that looked like the flame, a newer set of Blood Red hair grow on them while their stature is getting taller.

From something look like 1.7m long on their fours, they grow into something at least 2.2m length excluding their tail. Only by mere presence alone, the two evolved Flame Foxes become deadlier than before. When this sight is seen by the crowd, one guy with more experience shared.

"Bleeding Flame Foxes... No wonder the people from Inner Dominus Fortress purposely waited until this moment to join the fight. They're using us on purpose to become the sacrifice so they can grow!" he muttered. Although it wasn't too loud, everyone ends up hearing what he said.

"Brother Clausen, I will get the Bleeding Flame Fox's corpse for sure!" one of the hunters from Inner Dominus Fortress states and charged at one of the two foxes to start their fight. The explosive speed he revealed shocked the others from the Outer Dominus Fortress and act as a warning for those that intended to play petty tricks on them.

"Is this excellent speed improved by the continuous consumption of those unique stimulants? No wonder the people from Inner Fortress Society so snobbish, they were actually consuming these things since birth until now!" Technos shifted his glare to another person. His speed was nothing in comparison with the guy earlier, but in exchange, his sensitiveness against enemy attack is heightened.

But none of the two able to fight against the Brother Clausen's ability. Different from the others, he did not wield a weapon. Not only that, he fights like a sturdy and flexible bamboo. Each attack came from the Bleeding Flame Foxes failed to strike him. Seeming like trying to give the others a chance to increase their experience in fighting, he purposely throws the foxes with his bare hand whenever anyone is in danger.

While the main group is fighting against the two Bleeding Flame Fox, the others joined the fight to battle against the Ashen Olive Rats and normal Flame Fox. As the battle continues, the number of death from the Dominus Fortress slowly increased.

Even among the group that fought against the now become three Bleeding Flame Foxes, one of their members died. He wasn't weak, to begin with, but the Healing Stimulant Vial is unable to heal the injury like the head is decapitated.

The fight continues for hours before a roaring sound came from afar. This roar seems to be recognized by all of the Slave of Elon, which ordered all of the surviving Monsters to return. It was by far the most authoritative roar he ever hears, where most of the monsters quietly obey the voice and retreated.

In the end, Technos did not gain any popularity at all because the others from Inner Dominus Fortress has monopolized all the attention from everybody through their amazing physical performance. Between them, one was lightning quick, one was agile and sneaky like an eel, and the last one is hard as a piece of Medan-Material Slab.

What's more, the three of them are given the opportunity to perform under the person named Clausen. This only means one thing. Perhaps, he's one of the top hunters in their West Sector.

But their opponent wasn't doing too bad either. Among the Slaves of Elon participating in this Elon Festival, Fifteen Flame Foxes evolved, and only four died in the fight. As for the Ashen Olive Rats, above a thousand of them grew into Jasper Olive Rats.

The moment all the monsters left, the human from the fortress begin their salvaging process. This is the moment everyone was waiting for. The more corpses you obtained, the wealthier you're. But at the same time, the population would have to fight against the people from Guard Hunters Department for the loot.

Of course, it would be stupid for him to not participate in this after he contributes quite much to protect the Dominus Fortress from the Elon Carnival. He selected the spot densely compressed with the carcasses instead of the loosen one for the sake of masking the ability of his Elon Bracer.

After all the collection is over, Technos returned to his place and started to manufacture the Strength Stimulant Vial. As for the carcasses belonged to the Ashen Olive Rats, most of the villagers will in exchange sold them back to the store belonged to Elite Fortress Society so they can be processed. Even though the Ashen Oil is extremely expensive, the process to make them is too sophisticated. This caused the carcasses to only worth 1gm of Mineral Salt for every two corpses.

But that 1gm of Mineral Salt two carcasses is a great price! All they needed is to collect over a dozen and sell them to the store, and the collected wealth in the form of salt can be used to exchange when the time is correct! This is how people survive!

The only unfortunate is the Flame Fox. If they're killed before they become a Bleeding Flame Fox, it is worthless to collect their ashes. At the end of the day, only for Bleeding Flame Fox corpses is gathered by those from Inner Dominus Fortress. Everyone else is only allowed to collect the Ashen Olive Rats.

As for himself, Technos did not consider selling the carcasses to the store. He got a hold on over two hundred corpses, and when all of them were processed, the total of Ashen Oil they give is a mere 600ml! No wonder the oil is sold with this price even as an Impure version!

The 12 Dominus Coins worth 120gm of Ruby Salt, or 240gm of Mineral Salt. The amount of profit can be said to be not too low or high, but moderately priced.

By going for a bed, Technos get rid of his fatigue that built after fighting with everyone inside the battlefield. His day continues as usual. Some moderate hunting for Ruby Scarabs and Red Ruby Lizards, adding additional Mineral Salt into his pocket and attending the classes.

On his fifth day for the second month, Technos obtained the next recipe from his teacher. It was a Stamina Stimulant Recipe that can be crafted easily from a few different collectibles. But on his sixth day of quiet life, a new task came up.

This will be their third task before the Final Mission to enter the Second Examination.

"Alright, everyone. For your third task, you will be following one of the top ten students to hunt. After so many class and personal hunts, I believe each of you already has enough knowledge to venture further. This is why we will arrange you to a new location to hunt and explore."

"Your destination is one of the five forbidden areas in our western sector, known by many hunters as [Medan Lake]. Your mission is quite dangerous this time, but your rewards are very lucrative too. Your target is to collect 10kg worth of Medan-Material Rich Ore."

"As long your target is achieved, you can request for a weapon custom-made by our Commercial Hunters Department. Of course, you will have to collect enough of the material before requesting." their teacher makes sure they convey the requirement of the task is delivered to the students properly.

"Our departure date is one hour after now. Everyone return to make your preparations!" the teacher waved his hand outward as he finishes his words.
