9 Chapter 9: How Dare You

Third Person's P.O.V.

*6 o'clock in the morning, 15 hours after the fall*

"Wakey wakey." A man whispered at another man's ear, which made the man -- who was Torii -- wake up. He looked at the man, and when he saw him, he was shocked. He immediately stood up from the bed and prepared himself for battle.

"K-Klyde! Y-Yalden, wake up! Klyde's here!" Torii shouted, only to hear and see the man, which was Klyde, let out a small laugh. 'Son of a bleach. We're never ready for battle. Over anything else, Yalden's in danger!' Torii though to himself.

"Your little friend, Yalden is right there." Klyde pointed near the window. Torii looked at where he pointed as sweat began to fall from his face.

Torii saw Yalden, his arms along with his body wrapped in a thick shining rope, with his mouth wrapped in shining tape. Yalden tried to break out from the rope, however, it was no use, for the rope was so strong for even him to handle. Yalden looked at Torii, with his eyes filled with apologies.

He looked around, only to see the whole room filled with Klyde's subordinates. He counted every single living human, and when he came to realize that he will never win this battle, he sighed. He crossed his arms together in his chest.

"How long have you been here." Torii asked with a grim voice as he glared at Klyde with his intimidating eyes.

"That's not important." Klyde nonchalantly replied."I see you've got yourself a friend, huh? What's his name again? Yalden? He's quite strong, isn't he? He managed to knock down half of my underlings. Without using his Flair. In fact, he never used his Flair. He's quite intelligent, don't you think? Though, he wasn't strong enough when I faced him. He managed to land a punch in my face though."

'He never used his Flair?' Torii thought to himself.

"Let. Him. Go." Torii coldly said as he clenched his fist.

"Don't worry, I will. That is, if you come with me." Yalden replied as he smirked. Silence won around the whole area after Yalden spew those words out of his mouth. After a few seconds of thinking, Torii finally decided to speak.

"How many million times do I have to tell you that I have no interest in your world change plan." Torii replied. Klyde's face darkened.

"But... why? We've been friends for a very long time. You know what I've been through. You know why I want to change the world, and your declining my offer? Give me a reason. Give me a valid reason!" Klyde couldn't help but shout. All of his underlings flinched, for they knew for a fact that when Klyde is angry, everything's gonna be hell.

"You want to know why? Because your plan is pointless! Change the world? The world had already changed, you blithering buffoon!" Torii emphatically said, which made Klyde be loss for words.

"You'll change the world? How on Earth are you supposed to do that?! Do you have somebody who can whip his wand and then the destroyed world will be fine, huh?! Do you think you can just whoosh the world magically and then the destroyed nature will be effing okay?! And if that's possible, how in the world can you kill the Dragons, huh?! The whole world is in chaos, Klyde! Think straight, you fool!" Torii said, which made Klyde be shocked.

"You'll gather everyone who had survived? How on Earth do you think you can do that? Can you teleport? Are you the flash? Can you see the whole world in your tale? Or are you just so confident cause you've got a Flair?" Torii eagerly said.

"You'll renovate the whole world? What a futile thing to say. You think it's that easy, huh? The planning alone takes years, how much more if you actually build it? You'll die, and you won't even finish a quarter of it! You're not even sure if you'll survive in the first place. Are you really that dense?!" Torii shouted, which made Klyde flinch.

Of course, Klyde would be really scared. I mean, Torii never shouted in his life. To him, at the very least. Torii was this quiet person who never really speaks that much, not until today. Klyde, who was sure that he will get Torii to say yes to him, had his mind see the reality. That his mind is thinking, planning of pointless things.

His mind became arrogant enough to think that he can change the whole world, where he can't even think properly. His mind saw the reality that everything had already changed, and it's almost impossible to do what he thought. He laughed.

"T-Torii." Klyde called.

"What?!" Torii irritatingly replied, which made Klyde think that he really had crossed the line.

"...I-Im sorry." Klyde begged stutteringly. However, when he looked at Torii, he wished he never had a mouth.

"L-Lord Klyde is surrendering? He isn't that mighty, isn't he?" A man shouted, which made all of Klyde's subordinates whisper, their faith in Klyde began to fade until there were nothing at all. Their fear on Klyde was the only thing that made them hesitate to attack, however, when they heard those words, they never hesitated and attacked him without further ado.

Torii looked at Klyde with a cold and grim gaze, and disappeared. Not even a second later, he appeared beside Yalden. Then, wood began to cover both of them, which made the people think that they were cowards. However, when they looked upon Klyde used his Flair.

Then, everything happened so fast, that everything except the wall, windows, floor, and the roof, was incinerated to ashes. Then, the wood that was covering Yalden and Torii disappeared. Torii untied Yalden, and Yalden was confuse at everything, since all happened so fast for him to process.

When Klyde smiled, Torii looked at him, which made him scared. He never thought Torii was this hard to woo. He was nervous, thinking that his one and only best friend was mad at him. This made him sad, however, when he saw that Torii was fine, he was back to his normal self again.

When he was about to say something, Torii interrupted him.

"How dare you destroy my precious scrolls and notebook, you son of a beach." Torii looked at him with a really, really, really intimidating aura, that even the mighty dragons will be scared.

"S-scrolls? N-n-notebooks?" Klyde stuttered, remembering that Torii was very careful about his belongings, especially those containing his wisdom, and he will do anything for it.

"Wanna die?" Torii laughed maniacally.
