8 Chapter 8: You'll regret...

Third Person's P.O.V.

*30 seconds later*

"Huh?" Yalden expressed with a confused face. "What's this? Milord, there's a floating screen in front of me."

"Ah, you mean the notifications?" Torii asked as he played with the living Gazania in his hands. "Now that you've mentioned it, can you tell me what's in yours?"

"The screen said; "Congratulations, Yalden Fletcher. You have killed enough monsters to be considered as the "Lowest Human Level"! With this, your Sight will be enhanced drastically!" Oh, oh! My sight sure did get better. Way better!" Yalden rejoiced, for his sight truly did got better tens of times. Ants tens of meters away from him was now clear to him, and he can see them moving hastily, almost as if everything zoomed in.

"Oh, that? Congratulations." Torii said as he smiled.

"I am not worthy of such words from you, Milord. May I ask what Level Milord is?" Yalden asked.

"Uhm, I think I'm somewhere in the Mid-Low Human Level. The rewards were "Enhanced Hearing" and "Enhanced Smell"." Torii nonchalantly replied, admiring the beauty of the flower in his hand.

"A-amazing! As expected of Milord. You truly are the strongest and mightiest of all. I'm in tears." Yalden exaggeratingly said.

"Thank you. Let's not talk about me. There are more monsters next to this street, feasting on humans. We have to fight it. Let's get going." Torii said, and Yalden nodded.

Then, the two of them hastily ran, their minds fill with excitement and eagerness to be stronger. A few hours later, and they have managed to eradicate all the monsters within 50 meters in all directions from Yalden's house.

"It's already 7, yet the sun is just about to set. This is the reality now, isn't it?" Torii said as he looked at the sun. He was sitting at the table in front of the window, eating donuts. Yalden, on the other hand, was sitting on top of his bed, gently cleaning his spear.

After a few hours of non-stop monster eradication, they went straight into Yalden's house. Yalden managed to get into Mid Low Human Level, whilst Torii got into Peak Low Human Level. Torii got all of his senses enhanced drastically, while Yalden got 3.

However, they did know that they are still no much for Klyde. They knew for a fact that they are only a droplet of water in a vast ocean. When Torii finished his food, he stood up from the table and took something below one of the two beds in Yalden's room.

Yalden was confused about what Torii took since Yalden never hid something in his house except for really valuable items such as money. He looked at the item that his Master took. It was a paper scroll, with a ribbon tied in the middle. Of course, it's the modern ones. I mean, we're not in the 1920's right?

Torii opened the scroll, which was surprisingly big, as it covered the whole Small Double Bed, which was Torii's bed. The scroll contained drawings. A map, to be precise. When Yalden was about to say something, Torii took two more items under his bed, making Yalden more confused.

The new things that Torii took were a notebook and another paper scroll. He opened the notebook, placed it on his lap, and opened the other scroll. Torii placed it on the floor. The scroll was only a few inches wide and also a few inches tall, as it didn't take much of a space on the floor.

The scroll had drawings in it, just like the first one. But this time, there were several numbers and many more things in it. Torii smiled. Yalden stood up from the bed and walked towards Torii until he was beside him.

"I'm assuming this big scroll is the whole map of this Town, Milord?" Yalden asked, looking at the scroll Torii laid on the bed.

"To be precise, this is the whole available place we are safe to be in. By 500 meters in all directions, all the monsters are eradicated. Tomorrow, we'll scout again. Then, we'll place traps, in order for us to sleep safe and sound." Torii interrogated.

"May I ask something, Milord?" Yalden asked. "Go ahead. Torii replied.

"What does this notebook contain? And what about this scroll?" Yalden asked.

"This notebook contains all the information I've gathered. Monsters, this System thing, everything. This small scroll, this is my plan." Torii said.

"And may I know what is this plan, Milord?" Yalden asked politely.

"... You'll know."

*The exact time at the School*

"Lord Klyde, I have some information for you." A woman said, bowing deeply in front of a man, who was sitting at a majestic chair in front of a table. Besides the said items, there were nothing except for Klyde, the woman, and the items placed on top of the table.

The man was wearing a dark green T-shirt topped with a black Varsity Jacket with dark green sleeves. he was also wearing black pants, with a bracelet on his left hand. The man was handsome, as to why the woman who was bowing deeply was blushing.

"Continue." The man named Klyde said.

"Lord Torii, your best friend, based from our own eyes, had someone with him." The woman said. Klyde's eyes enlarged as he punched the table. The woman flinched.

"Tell me more." Klyde darkly said.

"O-of course, Lord Klyde." The woman frighteningly replied. "As I have said, Lord Torii had someone with him. Since earlier, they never left each other. The man seemed to be strong, since he can defeat numerous monsters alone. Lord Torii, on the other hand, evidently, was safe. The man was never hostile. In fact, one of our Team Members heard that the man was calling Torii 'Milord' several times. Also, he--" Before the girl could even finish her words, she saw Klyde's face.

The girl was intimidated when she saw Klyde. Taunted, she couldn't move nor speak properly. The reason why she was so scared was because Klyde was because Klyde was mad. And by mad, I mean, REAL mad. Klyde was infuriated on what he heard because he was... well, he was... jealous.

All this time, he still thought of Torii as his one and only best friend, however, because he tried to assassinate Torii, he couldn't reach Torii. That's why he was following Torii since earlier.

'What was the name of the man." Klyde said coldly as he gritted his teeth.

"I-it is Yalden, Lord Klyde. Yalden Fletcher." The woman replied. Klyde became silent as e clenched his hands with great strength.

'Yalden. You'll regret being friends with Torii.'
