7 Chapter 7: Your hands need not be dirtied, Milord

Third Person's P.O.V

"What do we have to do now, Milord?" Yalden asked, looking at Torii eating Oreo dipped in Peanut Butter. Torii was sitting on the bed in Yalden's room in his own house, while Yalden was bowing deeply in front of him as if he was worshiping Yalden.

"How many more times do I have to tell you to not bow and be comfortable around me. You're giving me chills..." Torii responded as he took another Oreo and dipped it directly in the Peanut Butter jar."Sorry..." Yalden replied.

"I've told you everything about Klyde. He is a formidable and tough opponent indeed. We also don't know if the school is on his side or not, but if my hunch is correct, that would be a hassle. That's why we need to do something that can make us an advantage." Torii interrogated.

"And may I ask what is that, Milord?" Yalden asked.

"Experience. We need to fight the "creatures" outside to gain experience in order to strengthen ourselves. Tomorrow would be a really good time to fight him, but we might lose. I know I keep my mind changing, but this is my final decision. We will fight Yalden next week, exactly at 7:00 in the morning. Any complaints?" Torii explained. Yalden shook his head. "Well then, let's go."

Torii stood up with Yalden, threw the done for plastics of Oreos and plastic jars of Peanut Butter. Torii walked outside with Yalden behind him. Yalden was nervous. He knew that Torii was hard to please. His hand was shaking as if he was sentenced to death 5 minutes from now. However, instead of being scared, he took a few deep breaths and then got prepared for battle. Torii, on the other hand, was just relaxed.

When they were outside the house, they saw a few monsters lingering around. There were 3 goblins and 4 slimes feeding on 2 humans. Torii looked at the monsters who were ruthlessly eating the two pitiful humans with a blank expression on his face.

Yalden, on the other hand, felt great compassion and pity towards the two humans, and anger towards the monsters. He clenched his fist and tried to run and kill the monsters, but Torii stopped him.

"Calm down, Yalden. Never let your anger control you in a fight." Torii looked at Yalden, who was now in his proper mind. "Now that you have calmed down, let's test your abilities. Go."

Yalden took a deep breath. Then, he walked, going to where the goblins and slimes are, holding his spear with his left hand. The goblins and slime, who were busy feeding on humans, noticed Yalden. They stopped eating, and then without further ado, rushed towards Yalden.

Yalden continued to walk, and when the first goblin jumped towards him with its rusty metal sword in its hands, Yalden swung his spear. The goblin that was almost near him, had its head and body separated.

The goblins continue to run towards him, and when they were only a few feet away from him, they stopped. The goblins split, one in his left and one in his right. Yalden again swung his spear, making the blood from the goblin leave Yalden's blade.

The goblins, without wasting any more time, attacked Yalden. However, arms on the goblins' left and right shoulders suddenly popped out of nowhere. The goblins didn't have any injuries present, despite the arms were attached to their shoulders.

Torii looked at Yalden, who was examining his spear as if there were no monsters happening. Torii smiled. The arms took the goblin's weapon, and the goblins, who were like fools, didn't notice the weapons they were holding were taken by the arms that they were so astonished.

Mercilessly, the limbs stabbed the goblins' chest. Then, the arms disappeared as if they never ceased to exist. Yalden then walked towards the slime, who was walking... crawling, like snails. When Yalden was near the slimes, the slimes threw something liquid at Yalden. However, Yalden dodged the attack with ease. Then, he stabbed the slimes, and then the slimes disappeared.

"Boring," Torii said, which made Yalden nervous. He looked at Torii, devastated as if he failed all of his exams. "You need to fight stronger monsters. There are 3 Zombies and 3 Skeletons approaching us. Oh, and what is that? A mummy? And two of them. Think you can handle this?" Torii said while he was about 10 meters above, scouting the whole area around them.

Yalden then nodded. On the other hand, 3 Zombies, 3 Skeletons, and 2 Mummies began to rush at Yalden's back. They were about 26 meters away from Yalden. The Zombies and Mummie were surprisingly agile, and all of them were holding weapons on top of that.

'This is beyond what I have imagined.' The both of them thought at the exact same time.

The Zombies held wooden bats and maces, the Mummies with metal pipes, and the Skeletons shovels and clubs. Torii giggled inside him, since, as he thought, this is different from what he has watched in Animes and has read in Novels, Webtoons, and Mangas.

'Look at them move with their weapons.' Torii giggled.

Yalden, on the contrary, examined the bodies and appearances of the monsters. The Zombies were like normal Zombies, except they looked more alive. Their clothes aren't destroyed, and their faces are like normal people. If it weren't for their really pale skin, exposed flesh, blood, oh, and terrifying growls, they will be pretty much considered normal humans.

The Skeletons, well, there were nothing much. Just bones. And bones. And more bones. The Mummies had cleaner and whiter tissues. Plus, the tissues seemed to be stronger and sturdier. All of them advanced towards Yalden, who was done examining their bodies. More like holding his laughter.

"Do you still want to fight them? There is strength in numbers, Yalden No need to push yourself." Torii said. However, when Torii was about to re-appear, Yalden insisted.

"Your hands need not be dirtied, Milord. I will take care of these fools who will try to attack you."
