Chapter Eleven 

KRIS PHANTOM POV 

"Kristen stop pestering her, you have done enough as it is". I said to him getting up.

When he pulled Amaya closer to him and hugged her to himself.

"I couldn't get you out my head". He whispered to Amaya, I thought he wouldn't ever get over his fiancee, why was he suddenly being so attracted to Amaya who was a one-timer of his?

"You motherfucker". Kross said which meant he had reached his limits. He stood up and pulled Kristen up pushing him to the floor while Kristen staggered to stay balanced he stood up and started laughing.

"I never imagined this day would ever come, the day I and Kross get into a heated fight for a woman ". He said out loud laughing.

"You always get everything and every woman you wanted, but one thing you can never get is Amaya, she can't be yours. Because Kris is in this too and never in my nightmare would I let her belong to you". Kristen said smiling.

"Why are you involving me in this?". I asked.

"You think I won't find out, I know you want to make her an assassin to do all your dirty jobs for you ". Kristen was getting crazy, Amaya looked at me confused.

"Do not believe anything he says" Kross said but Kristen continued to laugh walking upstairs.

"You want to ruin Amaya's life by keeping her in this mansion". Was Kristen's last word before vanishing upstairs? Flynn and Sandra followed behind him and when I turned back at Amaya, I could see tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Amaya".

"Why are you making things harder for me, you said you want to make me strong but instead making me your puppet". Amaya said to me.

"Please just kill me instead, I don't think I can last a day in this house". She said cleaning her tears.

"You have a lot ahead of you and I won't let you give up because of a few words from Amaya, he made those statements because he wants you to be weak and I know you are stronger than anything he plans for you, right?". I said to her.

"Do you want to be defined as weak by people around you and mostly Kristen?". Asked and she shrugged.

"I don't think I heard your answer, Amaya". I added.

"I don't want to be labelled as weak". Amaya finally said.

AMAYA POV

Kris was right, I can't be labelled as weak. After agreeing to train and become a master at fighting, Kris assigned me to a new guard named Liam. I was taken into an underground training centre where I was told the basics of becoming a fighter, it was now a week since I started a new life, I hardly saw Kross and I got to know from Kris that he was avoiding the mansion not to distract me and Kristen was out of the country for a mission. Kris was only in the mansion because of me and I was grateful about that or else I wouldn't even be able to cope.

My weekend was going perfectly, I was trying to forget about all that happened to me, I couldn't find a place in my heart to forgive Kristen or trust Kross but Kris always saw Med to be different from his other brothers and with that alone I was able to confidently stay around him and he also seemed to not be interested in me which always made me be at ease.

At ease not until a new face showed up in the mansion one morning while I was having dinner with Kris.

Kris had already told me everything about her arrival from Paris, Amanda Haverhill. She was Kross's mistress, she was as crazy over him and despite being busy friends with benefits she still doesn't want to let go recently she claimed to be pregnant and refused to abort it which makes her part of the mansion and she is back. During the few weeks I had been training I learnt to never be weak and I wouldn't disappoint Kris by letting Amanda manipulate me, if she tried to make my stay in the mansion hell, I would become the devil myself.

"I Am home! I Am home!! I Am home!!!" She yelled while the maids took her pieces of luggage in, she rushed up to Kris and hugged him tightly placing a kiss on his cheeks.

"I missed my brother-in-law so much ". She cooed looking at me weirdly.

"You haven't married Kross yet". Kris stated making me laugh but it came out as a chuckle before I could control it.

"I know but you are still my brother-in-law and mostly my favourite of the triplets". She said smiling.

"Who is she?". She asked, I knew it had been the only thing going through her mind but she was only trying to compose herself.

"My partner". Kris said making me choke on my drink.

"What!!!... Kris, you can't have a partner" she opposed, I thought she was obsessed with Kross why was she so bothered about Kris's Marital status?

"What do you mean by I can't, do you want to become a reverend father?" Kris asked.

"I mean she isn't the kind of person I expected to fall in love with, I was expecting someone more beautiful and classy. She doesn't look anything like classy she looks like a fighter". She said making me look at my clothes one more time, I was dressed like a father.

"She just finished her training for the da

y that is why she is dressed that way". Why did Kris still support his statement of calling me his partner?

"Join us for dinner" Kris added. She stares at me disgustingly for a while before shrugging. 

" I am still full, I would just head upstairs and relax, I still have a little neck ache from the long flight," she said heading upstairs.

"Don't mind her she is always that rude" Kris said to me but it sounded more like an apology.
