Laia takes the gum with undisguised skepticism evident on her face. "Are you sure this won't make me even more nauseous than I already am at the moment?"

Samuel shakes his head with a smile. "I promise, it will work,"

Hesitantly, Laia pops the chewing gum inside her mouth and proceeds to chew on it repeatedly until her nausea and dizziness gradually started to fade.
