1 Chapter 1
Wow what a beautiful place .she thought as the ship arrived in asgard. Wonder why father insisted we come here ."Are you ready?" asked her father, holding out his hand .Julianna looked up at him. He stood much taller than her dressed in his best robes for the meeting with the asgardian king and queen.
"Do I have a choice ?" she asked sarcastically looking up at him with a smile. Her father looked at her with a serious expression "must we do this again Julianna? You know this meeting is important and as the future queen of amadora it's important you learn how to properly conduct yourself as a proper leader ."
he said not looking at her as they walked up to a beautifully carved mahogany door which opened as they walked up to it.
As the door swung open she was in awe as she surveyed the room it was huge .there were 5 long tables covered in food of all different varieties some she didn't recognize .
at the front of the room stood 2 big golden thrones where there were people seated and quite a large group around them.
``i thought u said it was a meeting with the king and queen?" she asked her father stopping before they approached the crowd.``we do most of the crowd is asgardian soldiers , except the one over there sitting with the hammer at his feet that is thor odin and friggas oldest son and soon to be new king of asgard .''
Julianna looked where he pointed . at the head of one of the tables sat a very handsome man with long blonde hair and stunningly blue eyes that could pierce one's soul .He got up and approached them looking her up and down. She blushed.
``ah it's good to see you again Jeff .Who's this beautiful lady ?" Thor said, looking at her as he shook Jeff's hand. Her father took Thor's hand with a smile on his face." This is my beautiful daughter Julianna ." Thor held his hand out to her.
" It's a pleasure to meet u my lady." Thor said . she placed her hand in his and he kissed it lightly not letting go right away." it's a pleasure to meet u too you must be the god of thunder i've heard so much about .' she said looking at their joined hands blushing again
" that would be me would you like to accompany me up too mother and father?"Thor said again flashing her a smile .She looked at him and her heart raced but she smiled " I'd love to ." she said smiling.as they approached frigga saw them and a big smile came across her a warm expression spread as she looked at them.
"Mother, may I introduce lady Julianna of Amadora and lady Julianna, this is my mother and queen of asgard frigga." Thor said bowing before his mother, never letting her hand go in the meantime . " Your highness, it is a pleasure to meet you , and may I say what I've seen of Asgard its gorgeous." Julianna bowed while speaking to frigga.
"Please just frigga no need to be so formal my dear your like family i've known you since you were little . u may not remember much it was a while ago lol. But it's so good to see you, my dear." Julianna was confused and the look on her face showed it " we used to do a lot of business with Asgard. You were only here a few times but you were a baby the last time which was ages ago ."
her dad chuckled as he finished his statement. Just then the man that was on the throne talking to the soldiers who were now starting to sit down at the tables to eat came over to where they all stood." I see you two made it ok. '' he said looking at her father and extending his hand.
Her father took his hand and smiled " of course, although I was surprised that you didn't let us use the bi frost for travel, we would have been here a lot sooner. Why the jet odin?''her father asked in a serious tone looking at Odin thoughtfully.
Odin paused before saying " well long story short heimdall is ill and none else know how to work the bifrost like him i didnt want u getting sent to the wrong place." Odin said with a smile as frigga slipped her hand in his ."are you guys hungry we should eat before we talk " frigga said looking at Julianna still holding thor's hand.
" famished actually dad ?' Julianna said, glancing at her father. " food sounds great thank you" her father said as they sat julianna was sat in between her father and thor . She grabbed some food and took the wine offered to her by one of the servants.
As they ate she glanced around the room and admired the way it was decorated, simple yet elegant . It had 3 beautiful chandeliers, five long tables and 2 thrones .As she was glancing at the tables she noticed that on the other side of frigga was an empty seat . She wondered why it was empty and who was supposed to be here and wasn't.
curiosity getting the better of her she asked . " Hey Thor ." she turned towards him . He turned to look at her, causing the heat to creep up her face again .He smiled " why is that chair empty? Who sits there?" she gestured to the empty spot beside frigga.thor chuckled causing her to look at him questioningly.`` That's my brother Loki's chair. He and father got in an argument earlier and we haven't seen him sense .``
Thor said going back to the conversation he was having with the person on the other side of him . She sat there exhausted as the toll of the flight and her eating too much kicked in watching the room. She jumped when odin cleared his throat . " Let's adjourn to the library to have our discussion shall we ?' he said looking at julianna and her father .
"yes let's."her father said . They all got up and Thor took her hand again as they followed his parents down the hall to the library . As they entered Julianna looked around in awe. She had never seen so many books in her life. She could get lost in here for hours and be extremely happy .
Thor led her to some chairs and they all sat. ``So have you told her yet?" Odin asked, looking at her father . Her father shook his head and looked at her " my dear I do this in best interest for you and our kingdom." He said, looking at her, taking her hand ."Do what?" She asked looking confused
"Odin and frigga have agreed to you marrying Thor to unite our kingdoms and our people ." He said watching her face go from confusion to shock .She looked at Thor who suddenly looked uncomfortable in his chair ." Thor, did you know about this ?" She asked, looking at him he just nodded looking at the floor guiltily.
She sat there quietly pondering what to say next . I mean it could be worse right, he's good looking and seems to like me so far . "OK I understand I'll do it ." She said which caused frigga"s face to relax and she smiled. " good we aren't going to rush anything we want you two to get to know each other and be more comfortable with it . But we do insist that you live here and stay with Thor in his room. The engagement party will be tomorrow. "
She finished her sentence and Juliana sat lost in silence for a few minutes. "I'm ok with that but can we call it a day? I am exhausted from the trip and I must say I ate a little too much and could use a shower. " Juliana looked at frigga "of course dear I understand your stuff has been taken to Thor's room he will take u there relax and have a good night ." Thor stood up just then and offered her his hand .
Juliana took Thor's hand and followed him out of their room. As they walked she was silently lost in thought . She didn't realize Thor stopped until she ran into him ."Oh I'm so sorry I was lost in thought " she said as she felt the heat coming off him through her clothes where their bodies touched. Thor pulled her around in front of him, locking eyes with her .
His eyes traveled to her lips then back to her eyes ."I'm sorry about our situation. "He said as he looked at her. Oh my God she thought.i could melt from the way he's looking at me .she noticed his gaze had wandered to her mouth again ."Just kiss me I'm yours now."she said .he smiled and pulled her into him covering her mouth with his .
She melted into him and moaned.This is amazing. I've been kissed before but not like this .He's so gentle but I can tell he wants more but won't take it without permission. Just then someone cleared their throat " really Thor you could take her in your room some of us don't want to see that". The voice said, causing Thor to release her and a blush to creep up her neck.
"Good to see you too brother." Thor said, opening the door in front of him pulling you in with him closing the door before you had a chance to see the person who spoke.Julianna stopped just inside the door after it closed and looked around .the room was huge .
on one side sat a beautiful fireplace with 2 chairs and a table . Further in the room sat a huge bed covered in golden bedding with curtains that could be dropped for the occupants' privacy . She could feel the heat start to rise to her face again thinking of all the things that could be done in the privacy of this room on that bed ."you know you look sexy when you blush like that . What thoughts are going through that gorgeous head of yours ?"
She jumped at the sound of his voice forgetting he was in the room with her .Thor walked up behind her circling her with his arms .Before she had a chance to answer he was gently pulling her hair to the side trailing kisses from her ear to shoulder and back up." I promise I'll be a gentleman and nothing will happen until you tell me you're ready, my lady ." He whispered in her ear causing her breath to catch .
But it feels amazing when you touch me, she thought. " Well, thank you . Can we put this on hold for a while? I could really use a shower ." She said turning in his arms to look at him getting lost in those beautiful blue eyes again.he smiled as he captured her face for a kiss . She moaned no man she's ever kissed has had this affect on her y did he ?
She pulled back just enough to look at him .He really was handsome and a God to top it all off."Come my lady I will show you to the bathroom so u can take a shower and get ready for bed ." Taking his hand she followed him to a door she hadn't seen when she came in . As he opened the door she gasped . The bathroom was enormous.
It had a shower to one side , a double sided sink and in the center of the room was a tub that was big enough for at least 10 people. The bathrooms in Amadora were nothing compared to this one . It would make 3 of the bathrooms there. "I take it, you like it ? " He asked with a chuckle .'' It's huge, our bathrooms were tiny compared to this ."
She walked further in and looked around not seeing towels and forgetting she didn't bring clothes or anything in with her ." Don't worry, get yourself settled in the shower I will have a maid bring you towels and something to sleep in and your toiletries ok ." Thor said, walking to her again .
She nodded just then she saw a hunger in his eyes and she started to back up and hit the sink where he followed once again capturing her face and kissing her very passionately. She melted into him. He lifted her with no effort and set her on the counter between the sinks .Just as he was about to unhook her dress there was a knock at the door .
"brother can we speak for a moment ?" The voice said, causing Thor to curse quietly. He kissed her on the forehead"enjoy your shower my lady."he said as he turned and left the bathroom, closing the door after him. She sat there for a few minutes trying to calm herself for fear of falling if she tried to stand .
She finally regained composure a few moments later and stood and walked to the shower .
she turned the water on rather warm although she should probably take a cold shower to calm herself but she needed to get clean.
