Laboratory One

In the year 3000, the most advanced laboratory on earth produced 10 weapons that were more powerful than anything humanity had ever seen. To prevent the governments of the world from mass producing these weapons the lead designers and scientists destroyed all of their research, leaving only the weapons themselves before they were arrested. Then, an asteroid struck the earth covering it in a cloud of dust, without the sun's light the earth became barren and the creatures from the deep sea came to the surface. This story takes place two thousand years after these events.
