{BOOM}{BOOOM}

A large explosion could be heard indicating that the being had easily Broken the sound barrier twice in a row. All the clouds in the way that held millions of litres of water dispersed in the Beings passing through them creating doughnut-like clouds.

And only after Flying high above the clouds did the being Stop. It took a rest to set in its new sights.

This Being was none other than Ogun, in all his majesty. He had successfully transformed into his Western Dragon form, and what a beautiful yet menacing form it was.

His Draconic Scales shimmered a metallic obsidian and crystal-like spikes adorned his entire body, but mostly his Shoulders and Elbows.

His body shined with a hypnotic Hue of purples, blues and pinks and his total stature was no less than 40 metres in height. And his wing span an impressive 90 metres in length. And this was when he was still considered a newborn. He couldn't imagine how big he would become when he fully matured.

He looked at his surroundings than at himself. He felt, strong, powerful, invincible even, though he knew he was far from it he still relished the feeling.

{Swooosh}

As he floated up in the sky his instincts flared warning him of danger. Without even having to think his wings flapped to the side creating a gale of wind. And just as he did a piller of water shaped like an arrow sped past his previous position.

{ROOOOAAAAAA}

He heard the Mighty bellow of another dragon. He focused on the location and saw the great Protector. She wasn't on the hill anymore but Flouting on the sea right below it. Her eyes glowed Golden from the use of her hydrokenesis. She even had a little smirk on her face that ticked Ogun off. Though she did technically help him by pushing him, she still freakin pushed him. He wanted revenge, he wanted justice, he wanted to push her off a cliff. That's when he heard her voice in his head again for the third time.

" It would seem that I have underestimated not only you but also your talents. You have learned to embrace your instincts, but that does not mean you know how to use them properly. So how about it Little One, If you manage to beat me not only will I grant you one favour but I will also share a secret that those inherited memories of yours don't know about."

" I only have to beat you. And you will fulfil any favour I ask." He didn't know if he could actually beat her but the offer was really tempting.

" Indeed whatever it may be I shall do it to the best of my abilities. So do we have a deal l-i-t-t-l-e one?" She asked, this time her voice was more provocative as if trying to goad him. And it worked like a charm.

" DEAL, ROAAAR" He didn't waste time as the moment he accepted the deal he flew straight down like an arrow. He still couldn't breathe fire as his fire sac hadn't matured yet but his new dragon form didn't just come with the form itself but other abilities as well, One of those abilities being... an Ice breathability"

Ogun opened his draconian mouth wide and blew a breath so cold it instantly froze everything within 50 metres of the protector's vicinity, her included.

" Hahaha, looks like I'm the winner, man that was Easy, I thought you would be a lot str..." Ogun suddenly had a bad feeling. His instincts told him so. Then he heard her voice still coy And Arrogant.

" Well done little one, you didn't wait for your opponent to strike and struck first, but being first to hit isn't always the best move in battle, so let me teach you a lesson. Lesson one, when fighting a dragon first figure out what elements they use then think of countermeasures. Can you guess what element I use?"

{CRACK, BANG}

The frozen Protector who was just frozen a second ago shattered all the ice around her like it was nothing. It created a wind-like pressure that pushed Ogun Back a few dozen metres before he stabilised himself while at the same time criticising his stupidity.

' Dammit she's right, she even purposely gave me a hint of her element but I just brushed it off has her getting my attention. She's a water dragon so of course, water and ice type moves won't affect her much. Wait I need to get away from the water as soon as..."

" Lesson Two, thinking is good but make sure you have the skill to think and fight if not your dead." The protector spoke to him, already in front of him and in mid-swing of her tail. She did so while he was criticising himself.

{BANG, PA BA PA BA}

Her tail connected to his jaw, and as he couldn't react quickly enough his body ended up skipping on the water's surface 20 times before he finally came to a halt.

He now knew how those skipping stones felt. She probably already broke a new Dragon record on how many times you can skip a dragon.

Thankfully his new dragon form was sturdy and he quickly recovered, flying up to the sky, with the protector in hot pursuit and catching up.

" How do I beat her, she's got more experience than me, my ice breath will do no more than tickle her and she's gaining on me. What do I have as an advantage, think Ogun think...Wait I could try that, though it might not work ill give it a try, it's better than nothing." He looked behind him and saw the protector looking at him like he was easy prey. He gave her a smirk of his own and suddenly stopped mid-air before plummeting towards her.

This action shocked the protector." What are you up to." She didn't know what Ogun was thinking meeting her head-on like this but all the easier for her to finish this fight. All she wanted was to beat him so he wouldn't get too arrogant. He may be a lot stronger than the newborn but there are still dragons out there and even other supernatural creatures that if he wasn't careful could kill him.

Ogun was still flying towards her. He was 1200 metres away and coming in fast...900..700...400...100...70 "Not yet, not yet Ogun. just a little closer"

60...50...40..30...

' NOW'

Ogun who was no more than 30 metres away from The protector suddenly vanished, his 40-metre dragon form gone.

The great protector was shocked, he just vanished" Did he just disappear, maybe teleport, no he hasn't awakened his element yet so where, that's when she felt it, a foreign body on her back, but before she could react it was too late.

The moment Ogun was 30 metres away he had used another ability he had Received. He could teleport within 40 metres of himself though he couldn't use it continuously. Maybe only 2 to 3 times every day, for now, that is. But he only needed to use it once to catch her off guard. Like a great sensei once said Expect the unexpected.

" Hehe, that's checkmate Protector" Ogun smiled victoriously, he quickly took in the biggest inhale of his life and regrew to his Full dragon form, then he bit down onto the protector's neck with all his might, though he was surprised his fangs only barely penetrated her scales by on inch or two. But that was alright he had her right where he wanted.

{ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA}

He let out the loudest dragon cry he could muster hoping that with this move he could deafen her enough to freeze up or the best-case scenario loses consciousness.

He thought this would work he really did, sadly for him, this wasn't just any dragon. She was caught off guard and she definitely was immobilized for a few seconds and partially deaf but her bodily injury regenerated in seconds.

"You're kidding me" He was shocked at how quickly she healed.

" Not bad little, it wasn't a bad strategy at all. It's just it was used on the wrong opponent. Now that takes me back to lesson one little one. Lesson one when fighting a dragon first figure out what elements they use then think of countermeasures. Who said I could only control water." Her body started to glow blue and her eyes once again shone with A golden hue. Then her body started to twitch in his mouth and he felt no he tasted the ozone.

{ZZZZZZZZZZMMMMM}

Lightning shot out of the protector's body and shot forth in all directions. Like an emp grenade going off, just at a much bigger level. All the birds that were flying in the sky were immediately vaporized and Ogun took the full brunt of the shock and was zapped with over 100,000,000 volts of electricity.

He was strong but even he couldn't take an attack like that. So his body spasmed before he lost consciousness. His grip on the protector loosened and he started to free fall. Though just before he hit the water the protector caught him and flew his unconscious body back to the island.

" You have a long way to go..but for your first battle you did amazing, you should be proud." She said looking at Ogun who slowly turned back to his human form.
