I have lived a long life, and I am proud that I spent the whole of my life in the service of my people. I am only proud of this and nothing else. I shall continue to serve until my last breath, and when I die, I can say, that every drop of my blood will invigorate my loved ones and strengthen them.

In a Hospital medical word laid a young dark-skinned child and beside him an old cocation man. The child no more than 14 years of age had a pale complexion. His hair was an unnatural white and his eyes an unnatural red.

The old man on the other hand looked to be near his 70s or 80s.

As the boy lay there on his respective hospital bed he couldn't help but slowly turn his head to the old man who had given him the only hope in life.

Mc" How you feeling Grandpa Lee. Are you hurting anywhere?" The boy asked his adoptive Grandpa in a concerned voice.

Lee" Never better my boy. How you holding up."

Mc" I...feel really tired. Like I could go to sleep at any moment. But if I do that, I know I won't ever open my eyes ever again."

A silence descended in the room. This continued until Lee spoke again.

Lee" Are you afraid."

Mc"...Afraid. No. Regretful yes. There's a lot I still wanted to do, to learn, to read, to experience. But I'm happy that I still lived a life I'm proud of. And soon ill be in the hopefully warm embrace of lady death."

Lee" Hahaha, that's my boy. Live your life to the fullest, every last second of it. But I do wonder what will be on the other side for you. Whatever it may be, just know you have to live it."

Mc/Lee" EXCELSIOR...Hahaha." The young man and old man laughed to their heart's content. Not minding the strange looks they received from patients and nurses walking past the door.

Mc" Thank you...for being there, for giving me a chance I never thought I'd be given...and most of all thank you for being the best Grandpa I could ever hope for."

Lee" It was my absolute privilege little One."

Isaiah smiled. A smile that would brighten up anyone's gloomy day and would even make death herself want to smile upon the boy. The boy's heartbeat started to slow as his body got colder but at the same time warmer.

His eyes blinked lethargically before fully closing. Forever.

Lee" I hope you have an amazing journey Nephew. You will face hardships. Whether it be physical or mental but I know you won't ever lose hope. So go forward, never regret, and go beyond. Excelsior." The old man shed a tear as he watched his grandson take his final breath.

In a Void where time and space are irrelevant. We can see our mc Flouting in the void with a peaceful smile on his face. He no longer looked pale nor was his hair white anyone, it was black, almost as back as the void he was in.

"It's time to wake up child, it is not time to slumber for eternity." The mc who was resting peacefully suddenly twitched, and his eyelids started to move before they fully opened.

" Huh! Where am I...oh that's right I felt sleepy so I closed my eyes for some rest, but I guess I knew the moment I did they wouldn't open again. And now I'm in this void. Is this the afterlife, if it is it's pretty bland, the afterlives that grandpa Drew are so much cooler.

" Well I'm sorry to disappoint child but this is not the afterlife. This is my domain and a void beyond space-time." The sudden voice shocked Isaiah. It was like the voice appeared right next to his ear but was also a miles away from him.

" Who are you, did you bring me here.  Are you perhaps god, or maybe one of the gods." He asked in succession wanting to know why he was here and what this being or thing was.

" I'm a God, one that your people have long forgotten about, and yes I did bring you here. The reason being is because I was asked to bring you here. By who I cannot say but that doesn't matter. What matters is me completing my Task which is to give you 5 gifts and reincarnate you on your way.

" Wait don't tell me this like those fanfic reincarnation story plots. And why are you giving me these Gifts."

" You can compare this to those fanfiction plots, yes but your situation is a little bit more special than there's. And I will not be granting you wishes ill be having you...

" Let me guess you want to spin a giant wheel to where I'm going and what my powers will be...then you will send me to god knows where to be born as a baby again."
