Say it as it is

Why...why do I feel this way.... When I see him I get tingly and sort of...scared. Not of him, but I'm afraid of, well, embarrassing myself. I'm afraid of him looking down upon me and judging me, as he does with others.

"Ren, have you received the data sheets for operation Star Killer?"

"Huh?! Oh...yes. I have, General."

"Good. Then you will attend the meeting to foresee the plans?"

"Uh...yes, General."

Hux studied Kylo for a moment before scowling.

"For a Knight of Ren, you're awfully distracted today."

Kylo's eyes widened beneath his mask. Luckily, Hux couldn't see it when he made a worrisome face.

"Don't you have work to be doing?" Kylo spat.

Hux glared at his counterpart. His eyes began at his feet and up to the deep brown of Kylo's irises.

"Remember your place in my organization, Ren."

Hux swiftly walked away from a fuming Ren.

I hate him so much. I have never met someone who makes me as angry as he does. He also gives me some other feeling. I despise it. It makes me feel...odd. I can't explain it. My heart beats twice as fast when I'm around him. He's awful....

-----------------------

Brown eyes darted all around their dimly lit bedroom. Kylo yawned under his breath and wondered why he couldn't get any sleep. For some reason, he just couldn't stop thinking about him. The way his eyes would glow a vibrant green and sparkle in the light...or the way he ran his fingers through his gorgeous red hair.

Kylo caught himself. Hux was a disgrace...nothing more than a nuisance. He made everything way more difficult than it had to be. Not to mention the fact that he tried to overpower Kylo

The brunette decided that thinking about his general should be no more and rested his eyes for the long day ahead of him.

-----------------------

"Kylo Ren!" Phasma shouted across the table. "Are you paying any attention? This is a very important discussion and you don't even seem to care." She spat.

"Yes, captain...." Kylo growled in response.

Phasma continued with what she was talking about and Ren began to fantasize as he was before.

He pictured Hux's eyes locked with his own and his hands on his hips. Lips pressed tenderly against one another as the two men's hands intertwined. Kylo felt the warmth of Hux's breath as he kissed him.

He wanted more but was too afraid to ask for it. So instead he just pulled away. Without a word, Hux understood. It seemed Hux always understood. He pulled Kylo in for one last kiss when-

"Alright everyone, meeting over. We will meet again next Wednesday at 3:45 pm. No exceptions." Phasma's sharp voice cut through Kylo's intimate thoughts. His face instantly turned a dark shade of crimson. It was as though his cheeks were on fire. Why was he feeling this way?

-------------------

A fair face, light eyes, pale hair, all of it was glorious, Kylo had decided. He wanted to confess, spill his guts if you will. However, he knew that if he did that, his guts would truly spill. Hux would find the nearest torture device and make sure he died a slow and painful death.

Out of nowhere, three sharp knocks pounded on Kylo's door. Hux burst into the room without Kylo's consent and laid his narrow blue eyes on Kylo's form.

He had never seen Ren mask-less. His distinct features stuck out and it gave Hux the chills. He, however, brushed the thought away and proceeded with what he was going to say.

"Ren there is something going on with you. I'm not sure what it is but you have been...distracted.... What is the problem? We need your focus and you aren't providing it." Hux stated blatantly.

Kylo stared with wide eyes. Had it been so obvious that Kylo had something ever so confusing on his mind? He shook his head.

"It's nothing. I'll work on it, general."

"Kylo Ren if there is a problem that you need to discuss then you might as well talk about it now."

Kylo laughed harshly. "I don't even know what my problem is."

"Confusion is normal. Especially when you're dealing with something you have never dealt with before."

He ran his finger across his bottom lip ever so slowly. "But if you don't want to tell me and let it bother you until Snoke notices then by all means...let it boil up inside of you until you burst." Hux stated blatantly.

Kylo glared at the man before him. "I don't have to tell you anything!"

Hux inhaled sharply. He hated not getting his way, especially with Ren.

After a few, long moments of thinking, Hux decided to tease Kylo a bit.

"You have a crush, don't you?" Hux playfully shot his words at Kylo.

Kylo was shocked. Never in his wildest dreams had he imagined Hux finding out about his secret fantasies of being with him. Nor did he think Hux had the mental capacity to joke around.

"Fine, you know what? I am attracted to you, Hux." Kylo spoke the words so fast that he didn't even have time to realize what he had just said.

Hux could only stand there in awe. He had no idea what to say...no one had ever said such words to him, and, quite frankly, he didn't care to hear them. His heart began to pound against his now fragile chest and his eyes grew wider by the minute. He had no idea what to say or how to act so instead, he just grabbed Kylo by the shoulders and kissed him tenderly. As soon as their lips locked, Hux and Kylo both felt a weight lifted off of their shoulders.

After a few long moments of kissing, Kylo pulled away. He inhaled sharply and said, "So I guess this means you feel the same?"

Hux chuckled softly and replied "Unfortunately, yes." then quickly added, "But don't think for a moment that I am going to be all cuddly and romantic because you will never come before my organization."

"Wow...mood killer." Kylo whispered.

Hux's eyes focused on Kylo as he began to whisper, "I have to say those things, otherwise, I may follow my heart, and that would not be good for business."

Kylo laughed softly before turning to Hux for one last kiss.

"I do expect at least one dinner with you." Hux smiled against Kylo's lips.

"I can make that work."
