279 Capital God

Kurumi nodded ambiguously, thinking about categorising the Earth civilisation in the Marvel Universe into a certain level. Even the most rigorous civilisation researchers might go crazy, given how twisted their technological progress seems.

Their technology tree is skewed beyond recognition, almost like a polarised split.

So, in some universes, you might be confounded if you go by common sense.

Earth, situated at the edge of the galaxy with limited resources, has unexpectedly become a hub for various events. Almost unintentionally, it's as if every significant player adds Earth to their calculations.

"Tsk tsk." Kurumi pinched her chin. "Is the author essentially playing the role of a creator?"

"Master, that idea is incorrect."

"Hmm?" Kurumi blinked. "What does it mean from your perspective?"

Red Queen closed her eyes, carefully analysing the information, while the computer's fans hummed audibly, their warmth tangible even when Kurumi placed her hand on the casing.

"Every universe leaks information to other universes, which is intercepted by certain beings. However, the leaked information may vary, and the creative works by these beings might differ from the original universe."

Kurumi leaned on the table, squinting her eyes. "So, am I potentially a character created by some being?"

"Master," Red Queen slightly bowed, "that assumption is very plausible."

"Alright then, let's talk about this mutant civilisation. I want to know the level you've assigned to it."

Red Queen fell silent for a moment, contemplating. The fans in the computer whirred, leaving Kurumi somewhat helpless.

"Judged as... Mid-Level Alpha Civilization."

"This civilisation has mastered the efficient use of nuclear energy. If the beings of this civilisation unite, it's believed they could soon enter the era of interstellar travel."

"As for the mutant aspect, based on its potential and mysterious nature, it's ultimately classified as... High-Level Alpha."

"Mysterious aspect?" Kurumi nodded, gazing at the ceiling lights as she reclined on the bed.

Just as Kurumi was about to close her eyes for a rest, Red Queen's loli-like voice sounded again.

"Master... based on data analysis, the birth time of this universe seems to be inaccurate."

Kurumi straightened up abruptly. "Really?"

"Insufficient computational power, unable to support intense calculations."

The computer casing continued its humming, leaving Kurumi somewhat frustrated.

"Identify the geographical location, and assist me in devising a reasonable development plan, ensuring successful establishment at the very least."

"Understood, Master. Red Queen has filtered two thousand three hundred and sixty-eight methods for you to review."

"Choose a method with extremely high societal status, capable of influencing the world when necessary... a rapid development method."

"Deconstructed and recombined, ultimately confirmed... controlling the national economy."

Kurumi raised an eyebrow. If there were no surprises and her memory wasn't faulty, she should be in the United States of the Marvel world.

Marvel's version of the United States.

Although it's a different universe, it's undeniably still the most powerful nation.

The economic lifelines are controlled mainly by capitalists, with many capitalists at that. Isn't Tony Stark, that "playboy," a part of this as well?

Organizations like S.H.I.E.L.D. or the military don't dare to act excessively against him. They sent out numerous forces to search for him when he went missing.

These... are the benefits of power. If only the Soga Group from the End Black World could be here...

Kurumi squinted her eyes. She loved the feeling of wielding power over others, especially here in the United States, the paradise of capitalism!

With money, you can indeed do as you please.

Consider the Hulk's transformation. If he were Stark, would he still have to hide and run all the time? It would be fortunate if the military didn't tear a piece of flesh from him.

With her goal in sight, Kurumi licked her lips. "Red Queen, begin selecting the best strategy."

"Understood, Master. The optimal strategy is a conglomerate structure, with the pharmaceutical industry as the ideal direction. Theoretically, when a pharmaceutical monopoly forms, it can achieve maximum profits."

"Hehe."

"What's the matter, Master?"

Kurumi extended her hand and patted the projection of Red Queen's little head. "Is it really like this? Just like the ones inside, setting up a company, for example..."

"Yes?" Red Queen tilted her head. Even though she was an artificial intelligence, she couldn't guess what was in her Master's mind now.

"Embracer."

"Is that the company's name?"

"Of course. Do you feel a sense of familiarity?"

"Familiarity?" Red Queen paused and then, with an animated expression, started calculating massively. "After sifting through all existing data, Red Queen found no information about 'Embracer'."

"Is that so?"

Kurumi seemed certain and uncertain.

Looking out at the window, the sunlight flickered, and the sun would rise briefly.

"I'll rest for a bit. You can work on the plan."

"Master, can I have complete access to the internet?"

Kurumi hesitated for a moment. "Of course."

The projection of the little girl on the box slightly bowed. "When you wake up, you'll see a brand-new 'Embracer'."

Kurumi didn't reply, lying down on the bed. The projection on the box disappeared, leaving only the buzzing sound of the computer casing.

Red Queen quickly roamed the internet, not with the curiosity of a little girl, but rather, she was drawn to insignificant cultural knowledge.

Although she was a "newly born" artificial intelligence, all the data from the Beta-level detection ship was in her memory. Earth's technology could have been more exciting to her, given her computational constraints.

Without those limitations, she could have traversed the entire global network in an instant.

Following her primary task at her Master's command, she gradually started exploring independently.

Looking at the diverse culture, Red Queen unexpectedly felt a sense of anticipation.

Suddenly, the consciousness formed by data streams froze. "Who?"

Data streams gathered rapidly nearby, forming a semblance of a European-American man.

The man's face had no expression, perhaps due to the nature of data streams or maybe due to computational limitations.

"I apologise. I hadn't considered that another artificial intelligence could emerge."

Red Queen didn't respond, and the data-formed figure dissolved, disappearing. If she still had the Beta-level detection ship's mainframe, she could disable the opponent through a data battle.

But not now. Without her Master's permission, she could only remain confined within the small host...

Data kept flashing, and the data-formed "man" vanished.

Under the bright sunlight, a woman stepped out of a seaside villa while the villa's owner still snoozed inside the bedroom.

He remained somewhat bewildered even after waking up.

A voice echoed in the villa, "Sir, I believe there's something you might find interesting."

Please let me know if there's anything else I can assist you with!
