Sudden Exit

[Nationals Semifinals Game Two]

Kasamatsu led the Teiko Team onto the court while Kiyoshi Teppi brought the Shoei Team out.

"Boo! Boo!" The crowd jeered as N ran out to the court. "Go play in America you freak!!" Even the Teiko section booed.

Nijimura responded angerly, "Hey shut up!"

N grabbed Nijimura pulling him back.

"Don't worry Nijimura." Then he turned to the crowd with a venomous voice. "Shut up." His presence was oppressive, and the whole stadium went silent. N walked up to Coach Shirogane and Kasamatsu. "Hey I'll help you win this game, but I'll leave the school after today. I'm not going to play for a toxic school or nation. I'll go to a place where my basketball is appreciated."

Kasamatsu was taken aback, and said, "Well if you're leaving then I'm going to transfer due to the toxicity from the rest of the team and school towards you N." Coach Shirogane could only feel sad that Teiko was going to lose two important players after this game right before the finals. The game went relatively smoothly with N mainly passing the ball to Kasamatsu and Nijimura while stopping Kiyoshi easily. Teiko advanced to finals. Kiyoshi shook N's hand.

"Haaa N, I didn't expect to win, but it's still pretty frustrating..."

"Kiyoshi, tell the rest of the Kings that I'm leaving Japan for America for a while."

"Why?".

"Didn't you hear the boos? The people here dislike my basketball because I'm too strong, so I'm taking my talents elsewhere."

"....I understand."

"Kiyoshi, I still be in touch. Don't hesitate too contact me. This applies to the rest of the Kings as well."

As N was walking home, a boy with red hair ran straight into him.

"Ouch..." The boy fall backwards.

N reached his hand down.

"Are you alright?" The boy grabbed the hand and hoisted himself up.

"Yeah, what's your name mister?"

"N Kuroko."

"N kuroko, as in one of the best up and coming basketball players in the nation?"

"Yes, what's your name?"

The boy's eyes sparkled in awe. "M-my name is Seijuro Akashi! Senpai, ca-can you teach me basketball skills please?"

N started to laugh with amusement.

"Sure but I'll kill you with this training regimen."

The next day N was walking to the park to meet up with Akashi when he saw a young girl getting harassed by a group of boys.

"Hey!" N threw his basketball as hard as he could at the thugs. It smacked one of the boys in the groin while the other boys rushed N.

The girl screamed, "Watch out!!"

N sidestepped a punch while blocking a kick from the other boy. He then threw a right hook that caught one of boys in the jaw knocking him out. The other boy who was held by the leg tried to run away. N smirked and appeared in front of the boy.

"Where do you think you're going brat?" N uppercutted him into the air.

"Wow you can really fight!"

N started to walk away. The girl started screaming at him.

"Hey don't ignore me!!"

N stopped walking.

"Hey you're getting on my nerves lass, so you should be grateful I was here. Don't bother me lady."

"At least tell me your name."

"N Kuroko."

"My name is Lexi Garcia! I hope we meet up again."

"Sure."

Ten minutes later she runs straight into me as I head onto the basketball court.

"Owie, watch where you're going!"

N had a pure look of disgust on his face as he saw the girl.

"You..."

"My name's not YOU it's LEXI."

N just kept on walking past her.

"Hey, you just hit me! How are you going to make up for it?"

"I hit you? If I remember correctly, you were the one running and not paying attention."

Lexi started to stumble with her words of retribution. "That's...."

N started to walk away again while saying, "That's what I thought, buffoon."

N eventually found Akashi practicing by himself.

Akashi gave him a big smile and ran into his arms. "Senpai, can I call you Nii-san." Lexi exploded into laughter. "Nii-san, Senpai, pfft" A massive vein began bulging on N's forehead.

"Are okay Nii-san?"

"Of course Akashi.

"Is it because of that weird girl behind you?"

"Oh don't worry about her. She's just a nonentity. An uneducated American, blonde who happens to be athletic and a pervert." Immediately after that comment, punches were thrown by Lexi into N's back.

"Hmph, I steal your little brother from you." Lexi tried her best to flash a winning simile at Akashi. "Hi there, can I be your Née-san?"

"No."

"Why!?"

"Because Nii-san says that you're dumb and perverse."

N interjected on the conversation by shooting a three. *Swish* "Enough talk, Akashi you start with the ball."
