Chapter 3 :

You woke up comfortably in your room that made you smile. You remembered how sweet Izana is when you passed out last night.

"Rest y/n. I'll take care of you."

You blushed and buried your face on the pillow before screaming. He's so sweet oh my god... Are we getting back to like how we used to be?

You happily got out of the bed and walked out of the room. You felt slightly disappointed not seeing Izana home but at least he was sweet again.

You are jumping while walking as you walk towards the kitchen to prepare for yours and Izana's breakfast. You were happily cooking when you heard the door opening.

You smiled, you just finished cooking. You turn off the gas stove and rushed towards the door.

"Izana! Welcome ho—" the spoon you were holding fell on the floor.

He's with a woman and they are kissing on the entrance. Touching each other's body like they are hungry for it. Your heart ache, it looks like Izana doesn't even care about you.

The woman he's kissing seems to noticed you so she slightly pushed Izana to look at you. "W-Wait you told me you live alone." She murmured.

Izana didn't even spare you a glance and pushed the woman to the couch and got on top of her. "Don't mind her. Just be a good bitch or I'll kick you out." He harshly said and tore the woman's clothes.

You diverted your eyes as you felt yourself tearing up. "J-Just eat when you're done.." You weakly mumbled before running outside. The moment you got out of the house you leaned on the wall and slide down as tears continuously stream down your beautiful face.

"Why... Why are you doing this to me..?" You mumbled at oblivion as you clutch your clothes. You sobbed. "A-All I did was love him... Stay with him.. Am I wrong that I chose you? Is it really my fault?" You helplessly mumbled as you continued crying.

"Y/n? Why are you outside?"

You flinched and immediately wiped your tears after hearing Kakucho's voice. He also grew up and with you and Izana and he's looking up to him like a role model.

You smiled at him sweetly so he won't notice that you cried. "Kaku-chan hi! Izana's busy inside that's why I'm here." Your sweet smile remained while talking cheerfully.

"You cried right? I know you since we were young, you can't hide to me. What did he do to you again? Did Izana say harsh words to you again? You know that—"

"That he changed already? I know. That him being like that is normal now? I know. B-But.. But, it would be better if he just shouted at me!" You emotionlessly said as tears fall from your eyes.

"Y/n—"

"Shut it Kakucho. I know you'll side with him so don't speak anymore. Just don't go inside. I don't want to be the one to pay for it later." You said and walked away.

Your tears still falling from your eyes as you walk away from him. You don't want to go home. It was actually the first time that Izana cheated on you. Well openly that is, you actually don't know if this is the first.

You laughed bitterly, "I'm just a bitch that he could replace anytime. What would I expect?" You mumbled repeating his words and kicked a stone that is on your way.

"Ow. Who the fuck threw that?!" You heard someone exclaimed that made you alert. You immediately looked up and saw a familiar man holding his forehead.

"H-Haitani Ran?" You exclaimed shocked and rushed towards him and your eyes widen seeing his forehead bleeding.

"Oh my god! I'm sorry!" You worriedly said and held his hand that is holding his forehead.

"Y/n? Are you the one who threw the stone?" He asked.

"N-No... I kicked it. I never expected that someone is this unlucky." You replied that made Ran frown.

"I'm still lucky though cause I met you. You'll tend on my wound right?" He said with a smile. You looked away because you don't really have your own house to bring him there.

"I'll tend to your wounds at your place." You said while looking away.

He cupped your cheeks then made you look at him and his smiling handsome face welcomed your vision. "Why not at yours? You're so cold." He pouted.

You blushed seeing his face and smelling his pleasing scent. "I-I'm currently homeless..." You mumbled and clasped your hands. You don't want to go home, there's no way you'll go back to a house that is tainted by those kind of immoralities.

You can take his harsh treatment but you can't turn a blind eye to him openly cheating on you.

You flinched when Ran grabbed your shoulders, "You're spacing out y/n. Let's just go to my place if you're that worried that I'll harass you." He said and you just nodded at his words.

He was about to hold your hand when someone spoke.

"Are you stealing my woman Haitani Ran?" Izana spoke behind you, you can feel your tears were about to fall again so you took a deep breath and faced Izana.

"What do you want? Not satisfied fucking one bitch? Do you want me too?" You forced yourself to speak harshly but you're heart were aching. You just want to hug Izana and tell him that it's okay but that won't do anything anymore. You're starting to have enough.

He glared at you, "You're making it a big deal—"

"It is a big deal! You know what? I stayed with you for years, endured your toxic treatment but I'm done Izana." You said as tears fell from your eyes.

He was about to grab your hand but you held Ran's hand instead. "Go away Izana. We're do—"

Izana didn't let you finish and pulled you away from Ran and claimed your lips. You hit his chest but he didn't let you go.

"That's eno—" Ran was about to help you but Izana glared at him like he was about to kill him. The latter pulled away from kissing you and hugged you tightly as he lean you on his chest.

"Don't meet her nor look at my possession again. I'll kill you Haitani, no matter how useful you are." He threatened.

You grit your teeth as you felt your heart beat fast because of his words. Why am I so whipped because of him?! Damn it.

You pulled away from Izana's hug, "I don't want—"

"You're coming with me whether you like it or not." He firmly said and lifted you up and clung you on his shoulder, carrying you like a sack of rice

You smelled a woman's perfume on him that made you irk. "Let me go!" You shouted and hit his back. People were looking at the both of you that he didn't mind.

You continuously hit his back and tears unconsciously fell on your eyes, "L-Let go... Izana, I-I don't want to do this anymore.. Because of you I'm losing myself." You exclaimed while sobbing.

He's just silent as the both of you reached his house. He laid you on the bed and looked at you while crying. "What did you say again?" He asked seriously.

"I'm losing myself because of you.. I'm tired Izana. You're making me tired of everything!" You shouted at him.

You flinched when Izana gripped your chin his eyes stared at you seriously, "I'm also not myself without you." He whispered and his eys closed as he leaned on your neck.

You can smell his tainted scent, his calming scent that you always loved was mixed with a female perfume. "If that's true why would you do that? Why would you cheat on me? And openly too... Am I that worthless to you?" You murmured as you bit your lower lip.

You felt Izana wrapped his arms around you. He gritted his teeth, he's so prideful that he can't accept that he needs you that's why he's doing that. But his pride will also melt down secretly as he always care for you without you knowing.

"I'm involved in a dangerous life." He said like it explained everything that he did.

"I know.. And I accepted that. I never stopped you Izana. I trusted you. So why? Tell me why are you like this?" You unbelievably mumbled, not understanding what he really meant.

"Because I love you." He whispered sweetly and started kissing your neck.

You closed your eyes as you already know that you won't be able to resist him, "Your love is painfully toxic and addicting. I love you too Izana." You whispered and cupped his cheeks before kissing his lips sweetly.
