Chapter 58 - Ariel.

I arrived where Kumoko was, but she wasn't there anymore. She had gone somewhere else. I confess I started to worry a little, but I think she's okay.

I followed the same path we had used and returned to the cave. And there she was.

In a large room, a grown man who looked to be between 28 and 35 years old was talking to a beautiful woman who didn't seem to be listening to what he had to say.

The man, who was a handsome man with black hair with white stripes, sighed. His elegant white clothes with blue details were eye-catching.

"I told you before, didn't I? We have work to do."

"I'm not in the mood. I'm going out now." The woman replied. The woman was none other than Ariel, or rather... Demon Lord. She seemed indifferent to everything the man had to say. Her thoughts were on something else.

The presence inside the labyrinth. That presence was unusual, and it made her very curious. Curious enough to want to go there and see what was going on.

Also, the Queen Taratect had been killed. And it makes her angry.

"Balto, take care of everything while I'm gone." Without thinking, Ariel threw herself out of the living room window and flew off at high speed. She watched the darkness as she traveled through the sky, searching for that strange presence.

Just below, in the darkness, she could see a giant spider she didn't recognize. A species she didn't know, which made it all the more bizarre. After all, Ariel was the original Taratect.

'Who?' Ariel narrowed her eyes and continued to follow the spider's every move. The humans didn't matter to Ariel. She just wanted to see what that spider was up to.

Ariel then saw the spider carry the two humans into a cave.

'Is she taking them to eat them?' Ariel began to sense the spatial magic and decided to attack, not wanting them to teleport. A powerful magic took over the entire cave, causing the whole cave to be thrown into the air.

The remaining stones fell on the giant spider, which threw everything away.

Ariel stood still and noticed that something had changed.

'The spider's defense has gone up, but its abilities are still the same. That's new to me.'

Something new and unexpected happened.
