8 First Trial

"So, the Kronos system will stay locked till i prove my worth. That's what Kronosia was talking about in the temple." Arthur mumbled with a patient look as the knowledge was still settling down in his mind.

His breathing was calm, and the same thirteen year old boy who had transmigrated to this different planet, looked like a mature man solely based on his deep expressions, despite his short height and chubby features.

Arthur remembered well what Kronosia had told him in the temple. He had to prove to the one who makes sovereign out of the worthy ones.

"Someone could have proved their worth before meeting him just by their way of life, and some like me, have to prove their worth by fighting for every inch of their life." Arthur mumbled as his thinking had advanced.

"Like the abandoned noble Cyrus, did he have to prove his worth or was he chosen because he was already worthy?" Arthur murmured as more of these metallic beasts were passing him as they made their way towards the dark tunnel ahead of him.

"He did say that It would be in a way that i can't even imagine. I really never imagined that I would be transmigrated to the world of Losmo Draegon."

"I never imagined that I would gain the heaven's eyes or that the gods will be spying on me through it. But, what would they even gain from spying on someone like me."

Arthur mumbled on as the knowledge finally settled deep within his mind and the only thing that was left with him was the red screen with a lock on it and the heavens eye telling him to complete the preset condition.

"How do i prove my worth in this world?" Arthur said as this question still remained unanswered even after gaining the knowledge through the heaven's eye.

But, even with such confusion, he was still quite intrigued by the beast, so much intrigued that he was thinking of walking towards one of them and stopping it if he could.

Before he could step down from the raised he was standing on, a hand landed on his head.

A powerful press acted on his hand and the hand was big enough to cover his forehead even though the person who the hand belonged to was behind him.

"This is the first time I've seen someone staring at cars like this." A deep voice resonated in Arthur's ears.

"Cars? Who? What are you doing?" Arthur couldn't even turn around and as the touch came out of nowhere, he was somewhat shocked.

"Little motherfucker, so you are the one who was sent here to prove his worth!" A manly voice entered Arthurs ear and he shook as the voice was commanding in nature and carried a precise power.

But, the speaker was calm and slow as if he was undisturbed by time itself.

"Did Kronosia sent you to assess me?" Arthur mumbled while squirming under the tight grip of the man behind him.

The grip over Arthurs head slowly loosened and he hurriedly turned around as his moment had finally come.

A black man appeared in his sight. Tall and sturdy, a body that looked harder than steel.

The man was wearing shorts, and an armor that Arthur wasn't familiar with. On his feet were red shoes, something that Arthur was familiar with but the red on the shoes looked as if it was the wearer's blood.

"Kronosia? I don't know who that is but I have to keep a promise that I made with the only person who defeated me ten years ago." The man told Arthur before stepping right next to him.

"It must be Kronosia, otherwise why would a man of this world know that I am here to prove my worth." Arthur made a sound judgement as he looked at the man who was not even looking back at him.

To his surprise, the heaven's eye opened next to him.

( The preset condition will commence. )

"Oh." Arthur's eyes shined as if he had found a gem in the man next to him.

( The trials 'seven' to prove your worth will initiate in ten seconds. )

"Yes. I will do it." Arthur nodded as the heaven's eye showed new lines.

( First trial will kick-off. )

( The aftermath in failing in any of the trial will be

 - Losing the Inactive Kronos System

 - The inability to return to Gaia

 - Death in an hour in the most painful way )

"What?" As his eyes scanned passed the aftermath of the trial, Arthur couldn't stop his heart from palpitating.

The different weather finally got to Arthur as a sweat bead rolled down his head and dropped on the ground.

"Death? Gulp." Arthur hardly swallowed his saliva as the man next to him glanced at him.

( 10 )

Heaven's eye changed too as ten appeared on it.

Arthur glanced between the man and the heaven's eye.

( 7 )

"Since you will be under my care, remember my name, little fucker." The man said to Arthur.

Arthur didn't know if it was Earth's customs or the man who was good at cursing but he definitely felt cool while getting cursed at. It sounded like a completely different word to him. But, getting told to remember a name that he had yet to learn was a little hard for even him.

"What is your name elder?" Arthur respectfully spoke to the man with a light in his eyes.

"Elder? Don't call me that. You don't know me son! You don't know me!" The man looked angry while the heaven's eye was already at the countdown of five.

"Hmm." Arthur nodded he really didn't know this man but it felt nice being called a son.

"The people of Earth are really nice." Arthur mumbled as he tightly clenched his fist and got ready to know the name of the man who Kronosia had sent.

"I am Goliath Goggin's. Fat boy, you will only reply with a 'yes sir' till I allow you to speak more." The man, Goliath told Arthur as the heaven's screen showed a line.

( 2 )

( You have learned the name of the hardest man of Earth )

( On receiving the recognition of Goliath Goggin's, an achievement could be unlocked! )

( 1 )

Arthur looked at the screen. He didn't know what he was gaining from unlocking these achievements but the man in front of him had an unexplainable aura.

'It's not as overpowering as Kronosia but he is indeed a man that carries the same aura as a wizard of my world.' Arthur thought to himself before the heaven's screen vanished after showing three words.

( First Trial begins )
