10 Achievement Unlocked: STAY HARD!

That was the last time Arthur said 'yes sir' to Goliath, as the two walked in silence.

The moon was already shining in front of them.

Arthur didn't know when the sun passed over them, or the time it had set behind him. He didn't know about anything except walking right behind Goliath.

Arthur had his glance on the ankles of Goliath as he had his sight locked on them as not to lose sight of him.

Initially Arthur felt his vision getting darker which caused a subtle unease along with a mountain of exhaustion that was bringing him down to his knees. But as Arthur slowly looked up, he saw the moon and the hint of darkness around him, he knew that he had been walking for hours and it wasn't his vision that was playing tricks on him.

"It's already night." Arthur looked back towards the ankles of Goliath.

Surprisingly for Arthur, Goliath's brisk stride never faltered. It seemed as though the hardest man of Earth possessed some energy similar to mana that boosted his movements, akin to an unbound pool of mana that the Wizards were believed to have in Gaia.

And, just like the wizards of Gaia, Arthur saw how famous the man in front of him was.

"Was it a thousand people that have already greeted him with utmost respect, showering him with praises and the magical container that can hold water." Arthur mumbled as he looked around his body that was being crushed under something other than his exhaustion.

A see through plastic bags, carrying tens of magical container with water inside them, aka, the water bottles.

"Damn it." Arthur clicked his tongue just to find hundreds of the same bottles being carried by the man in front of him.

Seeing that Arthur shook the defeated thoughts in his head.

"I won't complain. I won't be a little bitch. I won't cry. I won't be a crying pig." Arthur told himself loudly and his own decisive words caused a smile to etch on Goliath's face.

While walking behind Goliath, Arthur heard people shouting 'Goggin's, Goggin's' countless times, but except that he had yet to set his gaze on anything much as his eyes were pretty much focused on Goliath's ankles.

'I never knew I had it in me.' Arthur thought to himself as he had never imagined that he would walk for so long and so far.

He could feel his legs twitching and his feet throbbing with every step. Just to carry his lower body, even his upper body was doing it utmost to keep his pot belly sucked in.

"Take this fat boy." A voice came from the front as Goliath passed a light golden looking round biscuit to Arthur.

It wasn't Arthur's first time chomping down on a biscuit, but this was quite a peculiar looking one.

The hunger he experienced at the first sight of the biscuit in front of him was a sensation so profound that even the intensity of 'love at first sight' seemed insufficient to encapsulate it.

Slowly snatching it away from Goliath, Arthur made the biscuit disappear in an instant.

'Crunch.' At the first sound of crunch, Arthur's hidden jaw line emerged as he closed his eyes tightly.

In his dry mouth, a salty flavor was running wild but it wasn't just saltiness.

'It's buttery too.' Arthur enjoyed the otherworldly flavor that he was experiencing for the first time.

Eating this, he couldn't help but take a sip from one of the water bottles that he had.

'What a godly combination. Thank you, Kronosia.' Arthur clenched his fists as he savored the fullness of the flavorful combination in his mouth. Arthur would have never experienced this taste if not for Kronosia transmigrating him to Earth.

At the last moment, where the biscuit passed his throat and vanished into the once endless pit of his growing hunger, Arthur found the heaven's eye opening next to him.

( You have passed the first trial by gaining the recognition of Goliath Goggin's! )

( The first trial of the seven has ended! )

( You have successfully completed the first trial! )

Staring at the bright heaven's eye under the dark night's moon, Arthur smiled like a lost child entering into his mother's embrace.

'I did it. I cleared the first trial.' Arthur rejoiced as he didn't have much energy to show his excitement through a victory shout.

( You have unlocked an achievement by gaining the recognition of the hardest man on planet Earth, Goliath Goggin! )

"Oh, he acknowledged me!" Arthur mumbled with a bigger smile than before. Even though he was tired to the point of breaking down, he still felt an immeasurable pride in his heart knowing that the man he was following acknowledged his persistence.

"But.." The only issue was that Arthur was still walking behind Goliath who was going at the same fast pace as before.

It was weird for him that he had passed the first of the seven trial but the trial was still going on. They were still walking.

At the same time, the heaven's eye showed Arthur his achievement that he had gained.

( Achievement Unlocked: STAY HARD! )

"Stay hard? Damn!!" Arthur clenched his fist and looked down at his chubby body, he knew he was soft as a marshmallow but the achievement he gained made him motivated.

"I will definitely stay hard." Arthur smiled but the happiness and the satisfaction he was enjoying was temporary.

The script he was seeing on the heaven's eye looked more enchanting than the night's beautiful moon, and in these lines he found himself soaring beyond the moon's beauty.

The same script and lines of the heaven's eye that brought him such joy, didn't take a moment of hesitation to destroy his mood.

( The trials 'seven' to prove your worth will initiate in ten seconds. )

Goliath stopping in his tracks and changed directions.

( Second of the trials will kick-off! )

"It's already starting...but he has yet to stop." Arthur looked at the screen then at the back of Goliath that he had been walking after endlessly.

The one who was testing him had yet to stop and speak anything but the heaven's eye was already starting the next trial.

"Listen well young man, from now on, follow me extra well. The moment you fall, we will start from the beginning." Goliath Goggin's told Arthur and turned around to tap his shoulder.

"Yes sir!" Arthur instantly replied but he was unsure of what was going on.

'Just what is the second trial?' Arthur wondered as they were already walking towards the direction of the tunnel.
