Final day before show

*Sigh*

Another day at school, another day of suffering, another day of awkwardness.

— Student Park, come in quickly if you're going to, stop bothering your students — a clear voice sounded.

It was just one of the teachers at school that tried to make me stop blocking the entrance of the school, as I was just standing there looking nowhere.

Still, it was kind of a surprise to me, as teachers were actually afraid of my appearance, and even more so, of my background as it would seem. It seems that the news of my father when he came to settle some issues regarding me moving to this school spread quite fast. Nobody noticed it was THE JYP but still thought that I was some kind of rich guy or something.

With that being said, it seems this female teacher was an exception, as her clear eyes directly stared at me with determination.

Not wanting to bother anyone, I simply continued my way towards my classroom once again, while nodding at her. Some familiarity came to me while I looked at her, but decided to ignore her.

After some time, I finally entered the classroom, from the front door as the back door has been useless for quite a few time now, and went towards my assigned seat, the protagonist's one at the end of the classroom and by the window. After some time, everyone was inside the class, obviously including Yoona, and class started.

Trigonometry class on analyzing non-right triangles, a topic which I already covered by myself, well more exactly, covered with Cho Ah during our midnight sessions. That way, I simply stared outside the window while wondering about the letter I wrote to Eimi a few days back.

For reference, tomorrow was the scheduled day to start the recording of the show, while I wrote to Eimi about 4 days back. Now that I think about it, I don't even know if she already received the letter, as I didn't know a think on the specifics of a post office.

That way, my mind wandered the rest of the day, between tomorrow events, between Eimi's letter, Yoona, Cho Ah, father, the Hyungs.

That was until the same teacher that I met earlier was giving a little talk about our future.

— Remember, this last month is your final time at middle school, I don't know what will your future hold for you. I don't know if all of you will assist high school, though I hope so, I won't be able to accompany you through the rest days of your education, and even though I've been with you for less than two months I've come to appreciate you — so she was a new teacher, that's why I don't have a strong image of her.

— After high school, some of you will go to college, some of you will go to othe areas — I swear she was looking at me with a soft smile on her face but at the next second she was looking elsewhere. It seems it was just a mistake on my part.

— Even though I don't know what will you do in the future, I do know that if you're going to attend our sibling High School, you'll see me there — she finished with a teasing smile on her face. Once again, I felt as if she was staring at me, but had no way of proving it.

Finally, classes ended, making me immediately organize my backpack and get ready to go to the apartment. As we'll start recording tomorrow, the agency told us to rest today, so nobody will go to train today and all of us will stay in the apartment. Even I decided to ask the boss if I could not go today, and fortunately, he didn't have a problem with it.

As the classroom only had 1 working door, I had to go all the way towards the front of the class, fortunately, that unnerving teacher already left. Still, I had to pass by Yoona and her female friends who were having a quite interesting conversation.

— Yoona-yah, are you really going to that famous girls high school? — well, there was nothing strange there, seeing how SM tried to control her life and relationships, I could swear that transferring to a girl high school was their suggestion.

— I.. I.. I'm not sure — Yoona nervously said, but more importantly, as I was passing by, I noticed her sneaky peeks at me. She hurriedly tried to conceal it, but it was too late and even she knows, that's why finally she decided to just stare at me.

"Silly girl" was the only thing I could think of when I realized how she looked at me. The puppy face she had when looking at me right now was one that I was just too familiar with. Still, it was too early to break my facade, so, I faked my best glare at her.

Unfortunately, some of her female friends noticed my glare and angrily looked at me.

— Do you have a problem? or Do I owe you anything?!! — the tallest one by Yoona's side angrily bellowed.

Frowning, my left brow involuntarily raised while I looked at her, followed by me glaring at her.

— Other than you flapping your mouth at me, no other problem, now move out the way — I said while staring directly at her.

It seems I overdid it a little bit, as the girl was clearly intimidated by me, trembling quite hard. Two sighs could be heard, Yoona's and mine, at the same time. Not wanting to make any problems, I just ignored her and exited the room. As I was leaving, I could hear some last words.

— Yoon-ah don't worry too much about him, he's just a punk — another one of Yoona's friends said while trying to comfort her traumatized friend. "I don't know what I did to traumatize her though" I innocently thought.

Nevertheless, I managed to see something that put a smile on my face when I sneaked a last glance at the group of girls.

A shiny bracelet could be clearly seen around her rolled sleeve, "she was still wearing it". Not that it mattered too much, as she didn't know that it was my gift and not Ju Hyun-ah's. However, I still happily touched my own bracelet that was deeply covered by my sleeve.

That way, in a good mood I rode my bike, the only one I ever had, towards the apartment. I tended to it a little too much, so saying it was pristine wasn't really a stretch.

Before I noticed, I was already calmly entering the flat, only to be instantly assaulted by two of the Hyungs.

— Look who's got here, our little star, the playboy — Tempo-hyung and the usually calm Young Bae-hyung said — look at what we have here.

Tempo-hyung shook a small envelope in front of my face which immediately made me wide-eyed.

I tried to snatch the envelope out of his hands but he quickly passed it to Young Bae-hyung while hugging me hard, not letting me move at all.

— Now, now, that's not the way to do it — he teasingly said — now repeat after me "Your highness, please be merciful and let me read the letter that I so desperately want to read".

"What the heck?"

— Hyung, we can't be that mean with Chris-ah — Young Bae-hyung interrupted him, I knew I could trust him, then he turned to me and amicably said — don't worry too much Chris-ah, just calling us "Your highness" and a 90-degree bow should suffice.

"Bastards" don't they have any shame? I looked for help, but the only ones present were Junior, who still had his poker face and Ji Yong who was looking at the whole thing amusingly. It seems that Dae Sung and SO-1 were still in high school.

— Bastards, don't you know who makes your food?!! — I angrily bellowed.

— Now now, is that the way you address your saviors, Chris-ah? — Tempo-hyung said. "Bastards"

After some time, I finally conceded and did some things that would be better left forgotten, but revenge was a dish best served cold.

Then, I finally received the envelope and immediately opened it. A light violet letter revealed itself making me smile. Then, chills covered my body, making me raise my gaze, only to notice two teasing smiles looking directly at me.

I hurried to my room and closed the door in the face of those two teasing bastards, while I continued to read the letter.

"What's with all the formalism, you bastard?" I immediately laughed out loud at all of the swearing in the letter. It seems she hasn't changed too much.

"Aren't we already in the 21st century? Are you still that bad with technology that you can't give me a call, you should know my phone number seeing that you already knew my address" dumbfounded, I could only ignore her dissing that had some truth to it. After all of the insults about why I didn't communicate with her before, the true letter finally came.

"I missed you a lot, Oppa." Once again, a smile came to my face.

"You can't imagine how worried I was after that day we were separated, Damian just took me here and left, only instructing me to not look for you in the meanwhile, and didn't tell me anything at all. Still, I can't complain about my family now, the Tanakas have treated me as their own, but I missed Damian and you too much. I'm sorry that I wasn't there with you Oppa, are you really okay? How about your nightmares, had they gotten worse?" I could sense how worried she was, making me smile even more.

"I've really wanted to tell you how my life in Daegu was, I'm pretty sure you already know I'm in Seoul now, as Ju Hyun-ah has told me a lot of things about you, even things about Yoon Ah-Unnie. I'm sorry to hear about your problems with her, but just so you know, it was a big deal in the company, she was basically forced".

Silly girl, how could I not understand. I was initially disappointed, but how could I not know that she was forced.

"Now, turning to more happy topics, I left a really good friend in Dae Gu, and I miss her a lot. Her name is Bae Joo Hyun, the Daegu goddess. If I must admit so, it's cringeworthy but both of us are being called the two goddesses of Daegu.... And erase that silly smile off your face!" Amused at her prediction, the silly smiled that appeared got even wider.

The rest of the letter was just about her life at Dae Gu, how she missed her friend, how were her school days, her life with her new parents.

Finally, she ended the letter.

"As I don't want to spend days writing this letter, let's leave it there, just one thing, remember to call me right now, and don't dare to ignore this comment. If you don't call me right now, don't even bother to write me more letters." smiling, I dumbfounded looked at her final comment.

"Your little sis, PARK Eimi," she wrote her surname in uppercase. A gentle smile appeared once again, and I just simply wrapped the letter, went out of the room, ignoring the two Hyungs, and even Junior, who was just outside of the room, clearly peeking and headed towards the only phone in the apartment. Took it, dialed the number of her house, and waited while listening to the rings.

After a few, someone responded.

— Tanaka house who is it? — a quite familiar voice asked, a little bit more mature, but I was sure it was her. I stayed a few seconds silent until I finally said.

— It seems the little girl has grown quite a lot — I teasingly said, ignoring the teasing smiles on the other guys' faces.

— So you finally decided to call me, huh? — she said, with a pretense of anger.

— Well, I just received the letter, just as you said, I called — I calmly replied.

— Really, then I guess I can forgive you for not calling me until now — she responded, as calm.

Silence permeated the call until I finally said with a wide smile.

— I missed you little princess — I called her the nickname that I used to use whenever I wanted to tease her.

— ... I missed you too, Oppa — she replied, clearly a little bit shy.

— We'll meet in person soon, I mean, in the next few months at least, don't worry about it — I stated.

— Really? Why? — she puzzledly asked.

— I'll leave it as a surprise...

— ... Okay — was the only thing she responded with.

Even though it sounded awkward, both of us never needed words to communicate, silence was the best way to convey our thoughts.

— Little girl, can I ask a favor? — I asked after some time. She kept silent as always, so I continued — take care of Yoona and Ju Hyun-ah.

— They're the ones that've been taking care of me. Don't worry too much — she naturally replied.

— Do they know of our relationship — I asked, unconcernedly.

— Ju Hyun-ah is already suspecting something. Yoona-Unnie shouldn't know.

— Perfect — that was the only thing I could answer.

— That reminds me, Oppa, thanks for the necklace — she confidently said.

— No problem at all — there was no need to ask since when did she know. Probably since she saw Ju Hyun-ah's similarly looking bracelet.

— Oppa, good luck at your debut — that was the only thing she said about it.

— mmm — I simply agreed — see you soon, little princess.

I hung up the phone...

The rest of the day and night, the other Hyungs teased me about that conversation. Unknowingly, a wide grin was plastered on my face the whole day, making the Hyungs tease me more.

More surprisingly, somewhere else in the city, a violet eyed girl also had a big grin on her face the rest of the day.

0 days before the start of the show.

Sorry for not giving you a chapter yesterday, I didn't go out, but still, my family still did a little familiar dinner and... alcohol was introduced... I woke up by around 12m and had to handle the disaster of the previous night. Sitll, here's the chapter from today, finally the recording of the survival show has come. I highly suggest to watch the original show, as I won't go too much into it. Things are finally getting exciting guys! See you soon!!
